Having been awarded 'Best Line-up' 2013 at the UK Festival Awards, Latitude has continued to pull together yet another outstanding line-up. We cannot wait to get down to Henham Park, Suffolk in July!
The beautiful grounds of Euston Hall, Suffolk will be the location for the new Red Rooster festival, which takes place on Saturday 7th June, partnering with the long-established Rural Pastimes event on Sunday 8th June. How versatile – the offer of two different festival experiences packed into one weekend!
Embracing the sounds and lifestyle of the American Deep South, Red Rooster aims to become the premier boutique festival for Rhythm and Blues, Americana, Soul, Roots and Country music.
This year the hooch will flow to the sounds of our friends:
The Jim Jones Revue
Big Boy Bloater, Miraculous Mule,
CC Smugglers, Scoundrels, Danni Nicholls, Pearl TN
and a host of good ol’ boys and girls.
There ain't no cooking in the world like the cooking in the South and the food at Red Rooster is as Southern as a Mississippi magnolia tree. We love a good ol’ rack of ribs soaked in Bourbon, spinning our girls round dancing, listening to a man sing his heart out on a guitar made out of an old cigar box.
It’s a long way from Suffolk to enjoy the sounds and smells of the Deep South, so we thought, why not, let’s try and recreate it in the heart of the Suffolk countryside.
It’s early days, but we hope you will join us at the campfire by the swamp and grow with us on our little adventure.
And, having filled your cowboy boots with fantastic music on the Saturday, you can stroll off to camp beneath the stars, and, next day fresh as a daisy, awaken to the wonderful world of Rural Pastimes and all the fun of a country fair weekend.
