Red Axes Announce All Nighter Tour

The tour shall start in London and include Lithuania, Portugal, France, Spain and Israel. 
 
 
Red Axes are heading out on an exclusive All Nighter tour that will see the pair play sets made up entirely of their own music. It takes them from London on March 4th across Europe and finally to their homeland of Israel on March 31st.
 
Since 2010 Red Axes, AKA Dori Sadovnik and Niv Arzi, have written over 2000 tracks, and only a small number have been released. So their 100% tour is the only opportunity to hear the full spectrum of the duo’s artistry and experience the evolution of their music as well as their versatility as producers.
 
Red Axes will play music from all eras, inspired by the people they’ve met, the musicians they’ve jammed with and the places they’ve traveled. Whether it’s one of their first ever productions, a secret remix or an unreleased edit, many of the tracks have never before been played, and will likely never be released. This tour gives them the opportunity to warm-up, headline and cool-down all in one night.
 
“It’s a special experience for us,” says Dori. “We get to play music we haven’t played in years to fans around the world who have supported us from the beginning.”
 
“These nights create a really strong bond with our audience,” says Niv. “They’re with us all night long, and we get to play old stuff as well as new stuff, and cover our entire history.”
 
Red Axes have brought all new musical perspectives and influences to their sets and productions since day one. The highly acclaimed pair has released on the likes of Phantasy Sound – including new The Phantasy Collection Part 1 – Shall Not Fade and !K7 Records as well as their own Garzen Records. They carve out mesmerizing and complex drum patterns laden with their own unique mix of synths and guitars. It is a disruptive sound that brings high-energy sounds to the club and has seen the pair headline all over the world. 
 
The tour starts at London’s Color Factory then heads to Lithuania, Portugal, France, Spain and Israel.

Finishing the third round of remixes of Rony Seikaly’s highly acclaimed Moonwalk album in great style is legendary Neapolitan groove ambassador Joseph Capriati, who impresses with his vision of Rony Seikaly’s track “Nights Into Mornings”.

Capriati shows his superb production ability and goes deeper than on the club stormers for which he is famed. On his rework of “Nights Into Mornings”, Joseph deftly maintains the vibe of the original while adding his own trademark flair to take it to another level of driving and minimal deepness. Capriati delivers a grinding rendition of the original, expertly crafted for groovy occasions.

July 1, 2 and 3, Rampage returns to Kristalpark in Lommel (Belgium), a pristine spot away from everyone and everything, to set up a Walhalla for drum & bass and dubstep fans. After a first, very successful edition in 2019, this second editions of the biggest drum & bass and dubstep party in the world is set to be of the highest possible level. With over 250 acts from all corners of the world, including the likes of turntable don Andy C, studio wizards Camo & Krooked, crowd favourites Macky Gee, Koven and Kanine, recent sensation Luude and bass music heroes like Nero and Modestep, the line-up is looking tastier than ever. Artists like Metrik, Rene LaVice, Maduk, The Prototypes, Danny Byrd and Tantrum Desire can be expected to play across the board, while Etherwood or Edlan will surely bring the smoothness. With 150 drum&bass artists on the bill, Rampage Open Air ticks every box of the genre, bit it’s also a resurrection of dubstep of sorts, with the biggest dubstep line-up in European history. With loads of new acts from Australia and the US popping up in recent years, plus a renewed intrest for the UK producers, the genre is getting its second wind. From old school heroes like Nero, Modestep and Caspa, to new school favourites like Virtual Riot (who recently made it into DJMag’s top 100 out of the blue), FuntCase, Riot Ten, PhaseOne, Herobust and Spag Heddy, dubstep is taking over an entire stage for 3 days, with extra acts sprinkled out on other stages too.

Add to that a standout live performance of Canadian masterminds Black Tiger Sex Machine and Uk bass house flavours from Holy Goof and Skepsis & Darkzy, this line-up truly brings together all flavours of bass music.

MOGA was born in Essaouira (Morocco), which was named Mogador by the Portuguese hundreds of years ago. Octan Ibiza’s mission to bring no-frills, proper basement clubbing back to Ibiza continues with a huge first wave of names for their phase 1 launch. Famously, the walls have been designed and painted by acclaimed Leeds artist Nicholas Dixon. Inside the Basement is all about an intimate, low-ceiling, personal club experience with a world-class sound system while the Lab offers its own different sound with a high-wall, warehouse aesthetic.

Leading the way this summer is all-new, music-centric Sunday party Encore, which boasts a tasteful mix of quality artists from across the house, tech & underground spectrum. Each and every Sunday throughout the season it will mix up the best names in the game and kicks-off with a huge ‘Traumer Invites’ party that sees Raresh, Priku & Gescu join Traumer on May 29th. Decibel Open Air unveils Paul Kalkbrenner, Richie Hawtin, Amelie Lens, Ben Klock and more

Many new things for Decibel Open Air 2020 edition: its dates moved from June to September, a media partnership with Radio m2o and two stages totally renewed. The whole area will be changed, thanks to the support and consulting of architets and and visual and lighting designers. 

 

 

Decibel Open Air line up is really massive, with many top players on stage. Paul Kalkbrenner is a real superstar, thanks to his 8 albums, his concerts in the most important festivals, his cult movie “Berlin Calling” and related soundtrack. Amelie Lens is a real techno queen: she plays in the best clubs and festivals, her Exhale parties and LENSKE (her label) releases are massive. Charismastic and effective, Ben Klock is resident at Berghain/Panorama Bar from its kick off in 2004; in 2015 his set won “The Essential Mix Of The Year” (BBC Radio 1), Richie Hawtin is a huge electronic music teacher, innovator and experimenter, in 2015 he was presented with an Honorary Doctorate of the University of Huddersfield.

 

Dutch techno master Reinier Zonneveld has already remixed “Resurrection”, 1998 dance anthem, a new remix in a personal roster including Moby. 999999999 is an italian duo techno, well respected in Italy and worldwide. Brina Knauss started her music career in Slovenia, before coming into Italy; last year he played at Tomorrowland, and she played in Watergate in Berlin a few days ago; Born in Puglia, Giorgia Angiuli is a classically trained musician, composer and multi-instrumentalist. Very early on she developed a strong interest for electronic music and started to experiment with new live techniques.
