Brighter Days Announce Faithless, Roger Sanchez, Kings Of Tomorrow And More For Debut Leeds Festival

The North East powerhouse promoters set to take Leeds by storm as they bring a taste of Ibiza to Temple Newsam in August

Brighter Days Leeds is an all new and adventurous one day festival that brings an authentic taste of the Ibiza experience to Temple Newsam on Friday August 12th. This electric gathering features two stages and headline sets from Faithless (DJ), Kings of Tomorrow feat Julie McKnight, Roger Sanchez, Fat Tony, Lovely Laura & Ben Santiago, Angel Lee, Dave Robinson, Kirsten and plenty more. Tickets start at just £27.50 so head to www.brighterdaysfestival.co.uk/leeds for further information.

The team behind Brighter Days have over 15 years experience promoting cutting-edge house parties in the North East. It all started at The Arena club in 2007, owned by the Brighter Days team, which they put on the map by bringing names like Avicii, Jamie Jones, Seth Troxler, Eats Everything and The Martinez Brothers. It closed in 2013 but the pair went on to develop some huge outdoor shows, most notably the Redcar Beach site at Majuba. After that came work with national promoters to co-produce Beach Jam and Clubland on The Beach and a new era began with their first festival last year which saw local hero Patrick Topping headline and was such a roaring success that they had to go bigger and better in 2022.

As such they head to Leeds’s Temple Newsam Park for what will be a little slice of White Isle party heaven this summer. The production, the sound and the vibes will all be served up with plenty of famous Balearic spirit and wild hedonism. The escapist location is a rolling green park surrounded by woodland that hosts some of the North’s most essential festivals. It will be transformed for 5000 people into an adult wonderland with one huge main stage and a VIP Area as well as food stalls, fairground and licensed bars to keep dancers fueled. Expect next level production that will fire the synapses while the world class DJs serve up the scintillating sounds.

Playing the epic main stage will be the one and only dance legends Faithless with an exclusive DJ set that will cover all their many hits. They will be joined by a host of legendary house selectors including Kings of Tomorrow with the incredible Julie McKnight, who of course penned the house classic ‘Finally’, as well as New Jersey house pioneer Roger Sanchez, UK disco maestro Fat Tony and Ibiza mainstays Lovely Laura & Ben Santiago. The VIP Area will feature in-the-know DJ talents Angel Lee, Dave Robinson, Kirsten and plenty more while Kevin & Perry’s Dean Taylor hosts.

Brighter Days Leeds brings a different sort of sound to the Yorkshire Countryside, so do not sleep on the limited capacity tickets.

It will have its own special line-up revealed soon, but expect a full-on, afters-esque, bells and whistles rave, baggy t-shirts, sweaty hair and high energy sounds that never let up.

The bolstered line-up now includes latest additions such as standout DJ and influential label head Sam Divine, who returns to One Out for a second year as special guest bringing her powerful house sounds; Ninja Tunes artist and master of emotive and melodic sounds DJ Seinfeld, plus UK tech house heavyweights Prospa and Latmun, Scottish favourites Jasper James and Jamie Roy and rising star AmyElle.

ALLOVER
A structure backed by Panda Events & NSG Production, Allover is a subsidiary that brings together Electronic Beaches and the Crossover festival, as well as their variations. Allover develops, through a regional network combining territoriality and seasonality, high added value brand universes that come in several formats (Villa Plages, Croisieres Electroniques, Crossover Summer, Crossover live, etc.).

Les Plages Electroniques
Les Plages Electroniques, the first edition of which took place in 2006, has evolved in terms of both content and format in 15 years. Initially, the concept developed with the city of Cannes was to create a summer and festive event made up of 5 dates scattered throughout the summer, offering 5 styles of electronic music, at €5, on the beach of the Palais Des Festivals. After the meteoric success of the formula, the model evolved in 2015 towards a format closer to classic festivals by grouping the event over 3 days. Hardly marked following the Nice attacks in 2016 and 2020 during the Covid crisis, the Allover teams have continued to develop the project and invest in giving themselves the means to offer festival-goers and festival one of the largest beach parties in France, in Cannes, in one of the most beautiful bays of the Cote d’Azur, whose world fame is well established.

Once upon a time, full on day parties were one of the pillars of what made Ibiza so special. Sadly in the past 10 years this has been replaced by high priced VIP experiences which take the focus away from the music, the rave and the dance floor. But not any more: ES Paradis is the perfect venue for this Studio 338 party which allows it to offer a similar experience on the white Isle to the famous one back home in London where Release has hosted superstar DJs like Marco Carola.

It is a true hidden gem and one of the oldest clubs in the world that has been there since the earliest days of Ibiza’s party culture. The roof comes off to enable daytime raving under the Mediterranean sun, the sound system is banging and the stylish, organic aesthetic makes it one of the most beautiful clubs in existence. This Summer, after a huge refurb and two years of closure, Studio 338 and Release will take it right back to the top.

Release is set to bring some special day time party magic back to the White Isle in a big way. Sign up now for first access to limited tickets http://bit.ly/338xRELEASEIBIZA

*This is a ticketed event*

On Friday 22nd July, On The Beach has invited Fatboy Slim to headline its festival grounds – situated on the hallowed beach where it all began. The global music superstar’s return to his home turf, Brighton Beach, is set to be the liveliest event of the year – and your only chance to witness the inspiration behind those spine-tingling scenes from two decades ago!

On July 13th 2002, UK music history was made when 250,000 ravers flocked to Brighton Beach for a party unlike any before or since. Widely regarded as the UK’s answer to Woodstock, the legendary event brought the whole city to a standstill, turning the entire beach into a writhing mass of happy smiling faces. Dancers clung onto anything they could just to get a better view of the maestros Fatboy Slim and Midfield General as they served up the now-seminal soundtrack. The official mix compilation still remains a cult favourite two decades later and the mythology around the event has only grown in the years since. It’s impossible to understate the immense legacy left by Big Beach Boutique.

As an artist, Fatboy Slim’s contributions to dance music over years are second to none. From underground hits to mainstream chart toppers, he has sold millions of records around the world, holding the Guinness World Record for most Top 40 hits and winning nine MTV Video Music Awards and two Brit Awards. Just as famous for his explosive and super-sized live shows as he is for his music production, be it headlining Glastonbury, closing down the London Olympics or even playing at the House of Commons, Fatboy’s household-status doesn’t just come from the radio, but from the memories inspired in generations of hedonistic party goers. Simply put, there is no one quite like Fatboy Slim.

The return of Big Beach Boutique is set to be one of the year’s most memorable parties and if you want to be first in line for tickets to this monumental celebration, then make sure you sign up at http://www.bigbeachboutique20th.com/ to be a part of the exclusive pre-sale, beginning at 10am on Wednesday 30th March.
This huge news comes on top of the already announced On The Beach weekend shows, featuring Carl Cox and special guests playing on Saturday July 23rd, and drum & bass pioneers Andy C, Sub Focus, Wilkinson, Shy FX, Dimension, Friction and Harriet Jaxxon playing on Sunday July 24th
