SANKEYS TO OPEN NEW CLUB IN WALES

Opening Party: 14th May

One of the world’s most recognisable club brands Sankeys is to open a brand new space in the heart of beautiful Wales in Swansea. It kicks off in true Sankeys fashion with a huge all day rave on May 14th featuring Richy Ahmed, wAFF, Max Chapman, Amine Edge & DANCE, Miguel Campbell, Clive Henry, Ellie Cocks, Andrew Kay and Hypoxia.

Sankeys is no stranger to huge news. What started in a Manchester warehouse in 1994 has since turned into a global club brand with venues around the world, a famously naughty party in Ibiza and road-block events at London’s Studio 338. Most recently, the team has announced a first ever, hugely anticipated festival at Colesdale Farm on July 2nd 2022.

But first it is heading to Wales for a very special series of just nine carefully programmed and highly anticipated events, each with a strictly limited capacity. For each one, Sankeys will bring its many years of know-how and cutting edge underground sounds to a fantastic new venue powered by Warehouse Gym. Situated on a large industrial estate and as part of the incredible gym complex, this summer Sankeys will bring the biggest artists, brands and parties to Wales on a regular basis.

Consisting of several huge spaces including The Arena – a huge, imposing warehouse room – and more intimate space The Lab, the new club will feature world class sound and light as well as lots of other hidden spaces to explore deep into the night.

First up is a forward thinking mix of house and tech artists from the vanguard, including Cocoon regular and rolling minimal master wAFF who never fails to cook up a storm, plus the influential long time Ibiza favourite and Four Thirty Two label boss Richy Ahmed. There will be edgy and characterful grooves from French pair Amine Edge and DANCE, plus plenty more UK favourites and Sankeys regulars such as the on point Max Chapman, longtime underground mainstays Clive Henry and Miguel Campbell, plus more from new school titans Ellie Cox, Andrew Kay and Hypoxia.

This will be a new chapter not only in Welsh dance music history, but in the history of the UK’s dance music scene as a whole.

Lost In A Moment by Innervisions Announces Final Lineup

The label welcomes Gerd Janson, Mano le Tough, Chloé Caillet, DJ Holographic, Jenny Cara and more

Lost In A Moment by Innervisions
Saturday 9th July, 2022
12:00-22:00
Tofte Manor, MK44 1HH

Innervisions has now revealed the full lineup for their first Lost In A Moment event in over 6 years, to take place in the UK at Tofte Manor on Saturday 9th July, 2022.

The label welcomes Gerd Janson, Mano le Tough, Chloé Caillet, DJ Holographic, Jenny Cara and Nick Castle to a lineup that includes a UK exclusive Âme b2b Dixon set, a UK debut for Jimi Jules x Trikk, Avalon Emerson, HAAi and Elkka, collectively comprising an exquisite programme of music.

Previously voted by RA readers as number 8 in a Top 100 DJs poll, Irish treasure Mano le Tough continued his course of brilliance last year with a magical debut album on Pampa Records, At The Moment.

A virtue to music and a credit to the German DJ circuit, the Running Back master Gerd Janson joins Lost In A Moment once again. Few do it as well as Gerd does and the prospect of him digging deep into his mystical house melodies and poetic disco rhythms, will surely leave many eager to witness his set on July 9th. .

Euphoric, adaptable and electric are three words that can be used to describe Chloé Caillet – a star of the scene in the making. Her latest release and remix of ‘Paris’ on Keinemusik, is just a glimpse of the utopia set to be encountered at Lost In A Moment UK.

Returning to Tofte Manor for the 2nd year running is Detroit’s finest DJ Holographic. Commended by the likes of Mixmag and DJ Mag, the Detroit dazzler sets no limits on her own radiance and continues to enlighten it in others this summer at Lost In Moment UK.

Bringing diversity to the dancefloor in all its forms from her gnarly but adored selections and across her wider career as an event promoter and organizer, Jenny Cara makes her Lost In A Moment debut.

Labyrinth’s very own resident DJ and founder Nick Castle also makes his Lost In A Moment debut. Steering from a place of comfort to curiosity, Nick’s deep love affair with music refuses to hit the brakes as it adheres to the greatness that remains obscure. There’s no turn not worth taking.

Lost In A Moment was born in 2012 at El Monasterio in Barcelona, breaking ground in terms of site, natural surroundings, architecture, history and atmosphere. Since then Lost In A Moment has continued to take place under the sky, never full, always airy, operating with unexpected light and unreleased music to challenge and shift the mindsets connected to electronic music events. It last saw the shores of the UK on Osea Island in 2016 and now it is returning.

The event will take place on Saturday 9th July at the 17th-century Tofte Manor in the heart of the UK countryside. A venue that combines the energy and atmosphere of a spiritual sanctuary with the beauty of the stunning British open air woodlands.

The venue is home to a labyrinth, which mirrors the design and pattern of the ancient labyrinth in Chartres Cathedral, France. Party roamers will have the opportunity to walk the labyrinth on the day of the event and will experience a totally unique entrance to the venue. Innervisons will be bringing their superb production to the venue for the day.

Don’t risk not getting lost.

MOGA Festival & Pianity to Launch Live Music Performance as an NFT at Non Fungible Conference in Lisbon

https://www.nonfungibleconference.com/

MOGA enters a new era as it combines real world musical experiences with the latest internet technology to offer an audio recording NFT that captures an exclusive live performance. It will be unveiled on the industry-leading Pianity platform at the Non Fungible Conference in Lisbon on April 4th and 5th 2022 and is a groundbreaking new development for festivals and live events.

Next week, the real world experience combines with internet technology to make for an exclusive new NFT offering. First, there will be a live showcase on April 4th at 4pm featuring performances by Moroccan artist Maalem Omar Hayat and Parallels DJs. The artists’ collaborative work will be mixed and mastered overnight and minted as an NFT the next morning. The NFT will be available for purchase on the 5th of April at 10 am at the MOGA pop-up store at the NFC Summit and online via Pianity’s website.

All holders of the NFT will also receive a video of the showcase. A few golden tickets hidden inside random NFTs will include a full pass for both editions of MOGA 2022 Festivals in Caparica and Essaouira. To link even more the real and digital worlds, some NFT holders will be invited to a private Moroccan diner on the 5th with members of the MOGA Tribe and the artists.

MOGA unlocking the festival experience with web3

Going from a live showcase experience directly into a NFT in the digital world is something that has never been done before. It marks the start of the new era for MOGA unlocking new experiences with web3 technology. Also, in the future, there will be a series of collectibles offered as NFTs. These collectibles will offer unique access and experiences at MOGA festival. This is in partnership with Pianity, a music NFT platform where musicians and their community gather to create, share, trade and collect limited-edition tracks. It is built on environmentally-conscious Arweave technology and is very much a leader in the space.

MOGA original creations and essence that inspired the NFT release

Since its creation in Essaouira in 2016, MOGA festival has set up collaborative projects with electronic artists and traditional Moroccan musicians. Five days prior to the event every year, the artists go into the studio, get to know each other, discover each other’s art and create original music that they play LIVE during the festival. The Moroccan National Tourism Office is supporting the showcase at the NFC to bring the essence of MOGA in the web 3.0.

Brighter Days Announce Faithless, Roger Sanchez, Kings Of Tomorrow And More For Debut Leeds Festival

The North East powerhouse promoters set to take Leeds by storm as they bring a taste of Ibiza to Temple Newsam in August

Brighter Days Leeds is an all new and adventurous one day festival that brings an authentic taste of the Ibiza experience to Temple Newsam on Friday August 12th. This electric gathering features two stages and headline sets from Faithless (DJ), Kings of Tomorrow feat Julie McKnight, Roger Sanchez, Fat Tony, Lovely Laura & Ben Santiago, Angel Lee, Dave Robinson, Kirsten and plenty more. Tickets start at just £27.50 so head to www.brighterdaysfestival.co.uk/leeds for further information.

The team behind Brighter Days have over 15 years experience promoting cutting-edge house parties in the North East. It all started at The Arena club in 2007, owned by the Brighter Days team, which they put on the map by bringing names like Avicii, Jamie Jones, Seth Troxler, Eats Everything and The Martinez Brothers. It closed in 2013 but the pair went on to develop some huge outdoor shows, most notably the Redcar Beach site at Majuba. After that came work with national promoters to co-produce Beach Jam and Clubland on The Beach and a new era began with their first festival last year which saw local hero Patrick Topping headline and was such a roaring success that they had to go bigger and better in 2022.

As such they head to Leeds’s Temple Newsam Park for what will be a little slice of White Isle party heaven this summer. The production, the sound and the vibes will all be served up with plenty of famous Balearic spirit and wild hedonism. The escapist location is a rolling green park surrounded by woodland that hosts some of the North’s most essential festivals. It will be transformed for 5000 people into an adult wonderland with one huge main stage and a VIP Area as well as food stalls, fairground and licensed bars to keep dancers fueled. Expect next level production that will fire the synapses while the world class DJs serve up the scintillating sounds.

Playing the epic main stage will be the one and only dance legends Faithless with an exclusive DJ set that will cover all their many hits. They will be joined by a host of legendary house selectors including Kings of Tomorrow with the incredible Julie McKnight, who of course penned the house classic ‘Finally’, as well as New Jersey house pioneer Roger Sanchez, UK disco maestro Fat Tony and Ibiza mainstays Lovely Laura & Ben Santiago. The VIP Area will feature in-the-know DJ talents Angel Lee, Dave Robinson, Kirsten and plenty more while Kevin & Perry’s Dean Taylor hosts.

Brighter Days Leeds brings a different sort of sound to the Yorkshire Countryside, so do not sleep on the limited capacity tickets.
