Featuring a cast and crew that reads like the greatest soundtrack ever made, expect movie music magic from the likes of Fatboy Slim who remains our weapon of choice to top the bill on Saturday night following a set from special guests Friendly Fires. We’ll say hello to the nightclub sounds of Groove Armada and we’ll most certainly have heaven on our minds when Becky Hill takes to the stage heading a glittering Friday night Castle Stage triumvirate that also includes a tasty turn from Kelis and Sophie Ellis-Bextor featuring daring doyens of the dance, Sink The Pink.

Winner of ‘Best Family Festival’ at the UK Festival Awards 2019, we’ve got family entertainment galore in the fresh coastal air with a host of CB faves including risqué tearaways Dick and Dom, outrageous live scientists Brainiac Live, and Cbeebies legends Mr Tumble, Mister Maker & Rebecca Keatley, Andy & The Odd Socks and Sam & Mark. And we have singalong joy with the BRIT School, and performing arts amusements from Stagecoach, plus Art, Science, Dance & Circus Workshops, and kiddie friendly techno-colour courtesy of Big Fish Little Fish, and Junior Jungle.

Our movie-themed weekend won’t be short on the talkies with comedy and spoken word appearances from Trigger Happy TV’s Dom Joly, award winning author Irvine Welsh, and snooker great and leftfield music authority Steve Davis and his DJ partner Kavus Torabi. Plus, there’s more verbalising and vaudeville across the weekend from the likes of Scummy Mummies, Man Vs. Baby, TheDadLab and Wacaday mainstay Timmy Mallett!

No Camp Bestival would be complete without lashings of bonhomie and fabulous fare. Kelis to headline BSTK 2016

‘Milkshake’ star Kelis is now confirmed as BSTK 2016’s third main stage headliner for the party set to rock the weekend of 8th to 10th July in the Essex countryside. The NYC soulstress will perform alongside Tinie Tempah, Annie Mac and Mark Ronson as well as new additions including Dusky, Heidi and many more. BRIT Award winner Kelis completes the billing atop BSTK’s main stage for summer 2016. The ever-stylish singer, brimming with talent boasts hits including ‘Acapella’, ‘Millionaire’ and more sure to keep the party bouncing come July. Electronic duo Dusky and house/techno DJ Heidi are amongst the names joining the already hefty dance music offering. Meanwhile BSTK is getting a special collaboration when Cuban Boys join forces with hip hop duo Jungle Brothers. Elsewhere on the main stage BSTK welcomes a generous handful of young, up and coming talent in the form of Imani, Zak Abel, Reeps One and Lucie Closier

Editors, Kelis, Band Of Skulls set for Y Not Festival 2016

The second installment of Y Not’s line-up boasts of plethora of international talent starting with alt-rock chart-toppers Editors. The band’s dark and brooding sounds will top the bill on Friday night’s main stage. NYC’s Kelis also joins the party, a set sure to have crowds dancing along to her many hits including ‘Milkshake’. Soon to release their fourth album ‘By Default’, Band Of Skulls head to Y Not this year armed with their blues-tinged, garage rock vibes. Fellow guitar-slingers and ‘Scooby Snack’ stars Fun Lovin’ Criminals also are set for the festival this year whilst a special addition comes in the form of indie outfit The Coral. The band will perform for Y Not’s ‘early birds’ on the Thursday evening of the festival.
 
Elsewhere Y Not’s rock-flavoured cocktail consists of Neck Deep, Beans on Toast, Lucy Rose, Milky Chance and Joy Division/New Order legend Peter Hook, performing with his band The Light. Festival-goers will be spoilt for choice as their soundtrack to the Derbyshire bash also includes The Lancashire Hotpots, Eliza & The Bear, Sunset Sons, Lucy Spraggan, Fickle Friends and the rather ferocious, amp-abusing Eagulls.
 
Across the 12 stages of Y Not further additions are Heck, Dinosaur Pile Up, Lonely The Brave, Queen Kwong, White and the 90s-inspired rising talents of Milk Teeth. Public Access TV, Dead!, Creeper, Traams, Nai Harvest, Reigning Days, Shame and Francobollo all also feature in a line-up bursting at the seams.
 
After being crowned ‘Best Medium Festival’ at the Festival Awards 2015 and their 10th birthday in the same year, Y Not is bigger, better and stronger than ever as all sights are set towards this July and the event’s 11th edition.

Standon Calling is pulling out all the stops with the first announcement for 2016, unveiling a wealth of musical talent including the mighty Suede, Grammy-winner Jess Glynne and r&b superstar Kelis to perform at the Hertfordshire festival, 29th – 31st July. Also confirmed are Everything Everything, The Hives, Ghostpoet, Anna Calvi, Blossoms, The Thurston Moore Band and many more. Following a sell out year, Standon Calling returns to its stunning manor grounds setting, inviting thousands of friends, families and festival lovers to gather for a magical weekend of live music & DJs, fancy dress, swimming and day to night hedonism. Remaining tier 1 tickets are on sale now and start at £127.

A boutique festival with major musical ambition, Standon Calling has once again secured some of the best talent around for what will be a truly unforgettable weekend. Joining the festival's 11th edition will be the legendary Suede, set to deliver a headline performance of old school favourites and tracks from their recent critically acclaimed album Night Thoughts. Also heading up the bill are the Grammy-winning vocals of Jess Glynne, fresh from a stellar performance at last week's Brit Awards.

Renowned for her incredible live performances, the multi-talented musician and part-time chef Kelis will be bringing all the boys (and girls) to the yard. Swedish quintet The Hives famed for their famous brand of garage rock are also confirmed, as is Sonic Youth and My Bloody Valentine supergroup The Thurston Moore Band. Mercury Prize-nominees Everything Everything will no doubt have revellers in the party spirit with their genre-defying musical prowess. Flying the flag for electronic music is house pioneer and legendary DJ, Theo ParrishGOLDIE who was recently awarded an MBE for his contribution to UK music also joins the fray along with Dan DeaconGold Panda, Luke Abbott. Standon Calling's own night club, the Cowshed, returns to keep the party going well into the early hours. The theme for this year's festival will be announced this Saturday when Standon Calling takes over Vault Festival in London for a special Saturday night party on 5th March. Past themes have included ‘Murder on the Standon Express’, ‘Running Away from the Circus’ and ‘A Town of Two Faces’ and this year's theme is set to be even more ambitious.

Forgotten Fields 2016 lineup announced with Suede, Kodaline, Dizzee Rascal and more

Promising yet another year of sensational music, wondrous attractions and a plethora of activities for the whole family, Forgotten Fields will once again stand as the definitive British festival experience, combining the picturesque landscapes of East Sussex with the intimate atmosphere that made last year’s event such a highlight. Last year’s sold out debut year provided attendees with a weekend of entertainment from start to finish, all under the blossoming Sussex sunshine.

Indie legends Suede will be taking to the stage to take on headline duties. Having returned this year with the incredible album and accompanying film ‘Night Sports’, the seminal act, lead by true showman Brett Anderson and possessing an untouchable back catalogue, are sure to provide one of the most anthemic moments of the weekend.

Dublin quartet Kodaline established themselves as serious rock proposition with debut album 'A Perfect World'. Full of epic anthems and killer hooks it was one of the biggest selling debut releases of 2014 and their recently released ambitious second album 'Coming Up For Air' has taken the band to the next level, piling chorus upon unshakable chorus with teary, anthemic sing-alongs.  The record showcases a band at the top of their game and their headline slot is sure to be a Forgotten Fields highlight.

Also on headline duty, grime star, Dizzee Rascal is the ultimate festival showman and his legendary sets feature huge hits 'Dance Wiv Me', 'Bonkers', 'Holiday' and 'Dirtee Disco'. Expect an irrepressible mix of hip-hop, grime, garage and R'n'B from the Mercury Music Prize winner and an up-tempo party set that will have the festival hordes skanking all night long.

Undisputed R&B superstar Kelis will be on hand to provide the crowds with a typically hit laden set that’s sure to get crowds moving with airings of hit singles ‘Milkshake’, ‘Trick Me’ and ‘Caught Out There’. Geordie rock heroes Maximo Park also join the lineup, spearheaded by the dynamic and captivating vocals of frontman Paul Smith and with instantly recognisable anthems such as “Apply Some Pressure”, expect a non-stop barrage of art-rock gold. Systematically pioneering an entire genre with the iconic “Rapper’s Delight”, US hip-hop kings The Sugar Hill Gangstand as undisputed legends and their set at the festival is not to be missed. The lineup is bolstered by gritty Southampton rock trio Band Of Skulls, singer-songwriter Newton Faulkner, indie stalwarts Kula Shaker, Irish duo Hudson Taylor as well as Ibibo Sound MachinePolice Dog HoganJack SavorettiMilkychance and Too Many T’s.

This year Forgotten Fields will also be presenting a huge dance lineup for those wishing to take the party into the nighttime. With the full lineup still to be announced, the weekend already promises to be huge with the stage headlined by undisputed DJ legend Norman Jay MBE, drum and bass pioneer Shy FX, renowned turntablist DJ Yoda and breakbeat producer and DJ Krafty Kuts. Championing new and emerging talent, the Horizon stage will host hotly-tipped, youthful indie trio Blaenavon alongside Hastings four piece Kid Kapichi, singer-songwriter Raffer, Kent three piece The Bay Rays, the beautiful sounds of Emmy The Great, synth-pop duo Skies and indie rockers Dorey The Wise, promising Essex indie tykes Youth Club as well as WAXThe Standard Lamps, Rag N Bone ManThe Hyve,JoeyFatFours and Marthagunn.

The festival-favourite House Party stage returns for 2016 and promises to deliver one of the most eclectic lineups at the festival. Headlined by Stay Beautiful’s incredible Bowie Disco and featuring a lineup including revered hip-hop mixologist DJ Format & Abdominal, Welsh three-pieceYucatan, Belfats psych-rock maestros Documenta, Australian psychedelic post-punks The Church, Paddy Considine fronted rock outfit Riding The Low, London duo Beds In Parks, on the rise indie quartet Lisbon and S.C.U.M. alumni Blueprint Blue alongside party tunes from DJ Megatune and the incredible Northern Soul Dance Class.

Elbow headline OnBlackheath 2015

Music complimented by food, OnBlackheath offers festivalgoers a memorable experience on the historic green space of London’s Blackheath Common SE3. OnBlackheath will also feature an array of exciting attractions including a Chef’s Club Immersive Dining Experience, Food Demonstration Stage, a whole host of entertainment dedicated to kids and the family, urban arts experience area, interactive sreet entertainment and much much more.

Saturday's headliner will be BRIT and Mercury winning Elbow, a band that, over six studio albums, have established themselves as one of the most important acts the UK has ever produced. With their current album 'The Take Off and Landing of Everything' entering the UK charts at Number One and a well deserved reputation for incredible live performances this headline set is sure to be unforgettable.

Madness will be hitting the main stage on Sunday for their only London date this year. In the last 5 years the band have released two of their most critically acclaimed albums ‘The Liberty of Norton Folgate’ and ‘Oui Oui Si Si Ja Ja Da Da’. At the end of 2014 they embarked on a hugely successful arena tour, including a date at London’s O2 Arena.

Madness commented: “We thought we’d left no stone unturned in London: Palaces, parks, stadiums… and now the kind people of Blackheath are letting us play there. Lets hope we don’t cause an earthquake south of the river.”

Manic Street Preachers will arrive on Blackheath following the release of one of the most critically acclaimed albums of their career (Futurology) and the reissue of their 1994 masterpiece The Holy Bible which was also played in full at some of the most feverishly received gigs the band have ever played. They are unarguably one of the UK's most treasured rock & roll bands.

Also heading to the main stage on Saturday will critically acclaimed Anna Calvi with many more artists still to be announced. Whilst leading independent label Heavenly Recordings will be back to curate the second stage Heavenly & Friends.

Sunday will see the likes of American R&B star and food lover Kelis and British soul singer Laura Mvula take to the main stage. National radio DJ Gilles Peterson will be making a return and will be bringing an array of live music and DJ sets to hisWorldwide Stage.

The Meantime Sessions Stage has also been announced and makes a welcome addition to the bill with artists including The Rude Vandals plus Chris Holland All Stars.

Summer Series at Somerset House lineup announced

London’s intimate live music festival will play host to a typically eclectic and impressive array of headline artists alongside hotly tipped acts. 
Opening on the first night will be London-based trio, Daughter. Fronted by Elena Tonra, their haunting melodies will set the tone for a programme of beautifully atmospheric live gigs. Next up will be Dublin-quartet Kodaline who’ll continue proceedings with their powerful blend of emotive rock. Having already gained a strong following after being nominated for the BBC Sound Poll 2013 and winning the EBBA Public Choice Award in 2013, the band have more than qualified the hype that has been lavished upon them.

Taking to the stage on the third evening of Summer Series is angelic Danish singer/songwriter Agnes Obel with her ethereal tones. Having won multiple Danish music awards including Best Album, Best Female Artist and Best Songwriter of the Year, Somerset House will provide a magical backdrop for her exquisitely melancholic vocals.

On 13 July, the incomparably outrageous Australian collective The Cat Empire touch down for their Summer Series debut for an evening guaranteed to make everyone dance. Renowned all around the globe as one of the world’s best festival bands, The Cat Empire have carved themselves a unique place in the musical firmament which will make for a truly unforgettable night.

Summer Series will then welcome the almighty Kelis to the courtyard stage. Known for years of chart-dominating songs including the infamous ‘Milkshake’ and thrilling, boundary-pushing music, Kelis will be bringing her raw and soulful show with her glittering hits to Somerset House.

The following evening will see the biggest-selling new British act of 2013, Bastille, arrive for an intimate show in their home city. With their debut album Bad Blood achieving platinum status in the UK, it’s clear Bastille’s Summer Series show will be welcomed by music lovers far and wide.

On 16 July, London fans will be delighted to see Glaswegian rockers Franz Ferdinand headline the evening’s events with their exuberant and eclectic indie rock. Back with their fourth album, it once again cements their status as a unique and adventurous British band. Scottish synthpop trio Chvrches will continue the Summer Series’ proceedings on 17 July. A band born on the Internet who quickly burst onto the music scene, their wizardry has already won them a top five place in the BBC Sound of 2013 Poll. A magical 80’s inspired, euphoric evening is expected from the band.

Hugely talented singer/songwriter of the moment Sam Smith will join the line-up for an epic evening on 18 July.  His melancholic lyrics and unforgettable vocal have led to a Brits Critics Choice win and performances at festivals from Glastonbury to Coachella. Next up, hotly tipped chart-toppers Clean Bandit will headline on 19 July. Having had huge success with their number one hit ‘Rather Be’, the four-piece will bring their addictive dance-pop delights to Somerset House. Headlining the grand finale of the 2014 Summer Series will be insurmountable electro R&B adventurers Little Dragon. If there is an artist who embodies the Lovebox spirit like no other, then Kelis is surely top of the list. Well, Sunday just got even more exciting with the return of Kelis to Lovebox in a UK festival exclusive! The Harlem-bred 90's vocalist brings her euphoric dance, spacey electro pop and R&B beats to the main stage and we cannot wait. Pitch perfect Lianne La Havas is the extraordinary, old-school vibrato sensation, and the name on everybodies lips. London girl Lianne's melodic performances present creativity and soul through all her vocals inspired by the likes of Lauryn Hill and Erykah Badu. We are pround to announce Lianne will be gracing the main stage at Lovebox Sunday.
