For the first time in its history the Camden Crawl will expand to a three-day event kicking off with an opening night party featuring six live acts and a special edition of Club NME on Friday 4th May from 5pm at KOKO. A full music and arts programme will run from midday on Saturday 5th May until the early hours of the following bank holiday Monday.

Strummercamp Festival 2012 details

Early-bird tickets are going on sale very soon!

Strummercamp takes place from the 1st – 3rd June 2012.

Building on the success of teaming up with Manchester punk label TNSrecords and Leeds underground promoter Hempen Jig last year, Strummercamp in 2012 will also welcome Manchester’s Punx inna Jungle and Slit Promotions to the family. This promises to bring even more quality and diversity to the festival, increasing the number of stages to 5.

The headliners will be announced through the website over the next couple of months. T in the Park 2012 Tickets

The 18th consecutive T in the Park festival roared to a close in July this year on the back of a brace of blistering, full-on performances from some of the greatest acts on the planet. Arctic Monkeys, Coldplay, Foo Fighters, The Strokes, Beyonce, Pulp and Tom Jones plus many more performed across a multi-stage bill that was widely cited by fans and the industry alike as the strongest worldwide line up of the summer.

Amsterdam Dance Event gets bigger!

 

Day program

By day, the crème de la crème of the international music industry gathers at the conference venues Felix Meritis, The Dylan Amsterdam and De Balie to do business, network and participate in discussions on the ins and outs of the electronic music industry. Speakers include; Carl Cox (US), Sven Väth (DE), Armin van Buuren (NL), David Guetta (FR) and Boy George (GB) amongst others. The panels will cover topics such as; the international success of the Dutch DJs and producers, international copyright, new media, new business models and overall developments in this rapidly growing industry.

A number of interesting sub-programs will also take place at tis years ADE;

Music and Bits: Music & Technology
The ADE program Music and Bits, which focuses on trends and developments in the online music world, has expanded to three days (October 19 to 21) and now takes place in De Balie. Speakers include Dave Haynes (Sound Cloud), Chris Kaskie (Pitchfork), Scott Snibbe, Alex White (The Next Big Sound) and representatives of radio Boiler Room. ADE University: the music professionals of tomorrow 
New for this year is ADE University: a program specifically designed for students, to inspire the ‘music professionals of tomorrow’. From 19 to October 21 Afrojack, Simon Dunmore and Nalden amongst others share their knowledge with the younger generations at the Smirnoff Nightlife Exchange Area on the Leidseplein.

Hard Dance Event: a conference for the harder styles
The Hard Dance Event (October 20) is a conference that focuses specifically on the harder styles of dance music. Topics that are addressed include crossovers between musical genres, the progressive way in which communities within this scene develop and how this scene is developing within America. ADE Next: platform for new talent
Celebrating its seventh edition ADE Next (October 22) brings upcoming DJs and producers in contact with media, artists and other persons relevant to them from the music industry. Top 100 DJ Awards

For the first time in its history, the Top 100 DJs Awards ceremony will take place during the Amsterdam Dance Event (ADE) on 20 October, at the Passenger Terminal Amsterdam. Current world’s No.1 DJ, Armin van Buuren will perform alongside David Guetta, Fedde Le Grand and Markus Schulz during a spectacular show, in which the No.1 DJ of 2011 will be revealed.

Evolution Festival 2012 Dates and Ticket Prices announced
