DOWNLOAD XXIII: District X Stage Reveals a Sensational 2026 Lineup: Five, Electric Six, Dick & Dom, The All American Rejects and more

With less than three months to go, Download Festival has revealed the thrilling line-up for its ultimate playground, District X. Featuring the likes of Five, Electric Six, Dick & Dom, The All-American Rejects, Creeper, MODESTEP, Bat Sabbath, TokenGrass and all sorts of other wild and wonderful delights, District X promises to take Downloaders to another dimension once again. Taking place from 10-14 June 2026 at the legendary Donington Park, Download Festival continues to re-define the traditional festival experience. This year, iconic 90s boyband Five will live up to their lyric “Five bad boys with the power to rock you” by playing Download Festival for the very first time and bringing their high-energy hits like ‘Slam Dunk (Da Funk)’ and ‘Everybody Get Up’ to Donington Park. Five won’t be the only act bringing a huge sense of fun to District X, as Electric Six will also be performing huge hits like ‘Gay Bar’ and ‘Danger! High Voltage’.
 
There truly won’t be a dull moment in District X, with acoustic performances from The All-American Rejects, secret sets (to be revealed on the weekend itself), DJ sets from Dick & Dom, Creeper, MODESTEP, Cancer Bats’ Liam Cormier (who will also be performing with Black Sabbath x Cancer Bats act Bat Sabbath) and Holding Absence’s Lucas Woodland, live comedy, live sets from Australian rock band DUNE RATS, London rap trio Frozemode and much more.
 
Further District X highlights include TokenGrass (a bluegrass tribute to Sleep Token), Nic Cage Against The Machine (a Rage Against The Machine tribute band fronted by a Nic Cage impersonator), comedy music trio OCT, viral sensation James B. Partridge’s Primary School Bangers, Scottish accordion player RuMac, and a plethora of other joyful experiences. There will also be a full programme of live comedy presented by the world famous The Comedy Store, with stand-up from over 25 acts including Thomas GreenMatt BraggFelicity WardDinesh NathanSikisa and many more.
 
District X will see a host of live podcasts taking to the stage, including RØRY’s ADHD Love, Sappenin Podcast and The Metal Roundup Podcast. Other highlights will include Heavy Metal Sports, Bongo’s Bingo, Panic! At The Bingo, Chris Fleming Millennial Magician, Live Band Karaoke with Ten Years Too Late, Never Mind The Download pub quizzes, as well as endless DJ sets and fun surprises from the likes of K-Pop Emo Hunters, Nickelbrat, Master Of Pop Hits, Alex Baker, Sophie K and dozens more.
 
This packed line-up confirms that District X remains the ultimate entertainment hub, offering Downloaders an unforgettable festival experience from dusk until dawn. And over in the main arena, DLXXIII will be headlined by Limp Bizkit, Guns N’ Roses and Linkin Park, with the likes of A Day To Remember, Scooter, Electric Callboy, Cypress Hill, Pendulum, Bad Omens, The Pretty Reckless, Trivium, Halestorm, BABYMETAL, Tom Morello, Dogstar and many more joining them on the bill. Weekend camping tickets are now sold out, but final remaining weekend arena and day tickets are available from www.downloadfestival.co.uk.

DLXXII: BEYOND THE BANDS

With less than two months to go until the mighty return of Download Festival, DLXXII has unleashed its ‘Beyond The Bands’ offerings, giving Download-goers an even more exciting experience onsite with brand new food, drink, wellness and sport options. Taking place on 11-15 June 2025 at the hallowed grounds of Donington Park, Download will be headlined by Green Day, Sleep Token and Korn. Brand new for this year’s DLXXII are the Mercian Axe brewery bar where you can find locally brewed beers, the Hair Of The Dog pub complete with roof terrace and beer garden, and brand new arena bar The Iron Harp. Our Low & No bar, Bar Zero returns, as well as the Raven Records’ pop-up vinyl store, which also offers alcohol-free options, coffee and heavy metal talking therapy.
 
For the first time, Download will see live blacksmithing workshops, new immersive experience Darkfield Séance and a Heavy Metal Sports Day. There will also be axe throwing, skate ramps, a new and improved wellness, yoga and talking therapy offering, wrestling, RockFit, live fire cooking demos, daily themed quizzes, and a bigger and better Download MegastoreOld Sarum Tattoo will also be returning to Download this year.
 
This year will see over 160 fantastic food traders across the festival, with returning festival favourites and some brand new ones, with more than ever catering to vegan, vegetarian and gluten free dietary requirements. There will be a huge variety of options on display, from Rock & Roll Toastie to C’est Cheese to Halloumination to late night shawarma at Kebab Kartel to puddings at Custard & Crumble and Yay Churros.
 
Additionally, the Welders Yard food and drink area will be returning to the top of the main arena on an even larger scale, complete with Beer Hall, the aforementioned Bar Zero, and an array of food options, including authentic American smokehouse BBQ, homemade Spanish churros and Bangladeshi / Indian street food.

DOWNLOAD FESTIVAL REVEALS DISTRICT X LINE UP

With only two weeks to go until the mighty Download Festival, the sold out 20th anniversary celebration has unleashed its District X line up, as well as announcing special collaborations for this year. Boasting secret band sets, live podcasts, late night DJ sets and a comedy line up on the Wednesday night, the special four-day edition is set to be jam-packed. Taking place on 8-11 June 2023 at the hallowed grounds of Donington Park, Download will be headlined by Bring Me The Horizon, Slipknot and Metallica, who will perform two headline sets with no repeat songs. This year District X will be better than ever, with a fantastic line-up of secret band sets (to be announced on the day), live podcasts and DJ sets from the likes of The Blackout, Wargasm, Zoe London, Nova Twins x On Wednesdays We Wear Black, Daniel P Carter, Alyx Holcombe and many more. Festivities will begin on the Wednesday night with Get Your Rocks Off, who are ready to immerse the crowd in the Rock & Roll Hall Of Fame, and from then on, UK clubnights Uprawr, Facedown, Girl Power and many more will take it in turns to get the party started.

Following the success of live podcasts in 2022, Sappenin Podcast, On Wednesdays We Wear Black and Life In The Stocks will be appearing at District X this year. Matt Stocks will be bringing special guest Matthew Pritchard of Dirty Sanchez onstage as his guest, which is sure to be entertaining. On top of this, the Sidesplitter will host an evening of comedy on Wednesday night, featuring members of The Comedy Store, Kunt & The Gang and more. And on top of this, there will be rock fitness classes, Drag Emo Karaoke and even Rock Kids for those with their very own mini moshers. 

Elsewhere, Download Festival is delighted to announce onsite collaborations with Mary Wyatt, Download Lava (Lou’s Hot Sauce) and Parabellum, which you can check out onsite at the Download Megastore, along with the likes of Download garden gnomes and gaming chairs. There’s also a chill out space where people can hang out with their friends, play arcade games and soak up the atmosphere.
