“We’re excited to have our first indoor festival in New York since pre-pandemic days! We’ll be making up our RowsAttacks tour as this has been the most requested theme by our American fans. Last but not least, this is my most favorite lineup ever in elrow North America.” – Michael Julian, Head of elrow North America

Adding to the outer space spectacle, elrow’s otherworldly performers and cosmic acrobats will immerse audiences in an interplanetary experience while dressed as extraterrestrials, astronauts, monsters, Yoda, and other sci-fi beings. With UFO sightings and space alien visitors in the news, and William Shatner blasting off into space, elrow’s futuristic outer space theme is on point. Expect larger-than-life props of UFOs, rockets, and more as the design team goes all out for this multisensory, interplanetary battle between Planet elrow and the evil Planet Sensible. The trendiest DJs in the house and techno universe will be spinning out-of-this-world beats to keep the international elrow crowd moving. Earth may be an apocalyptic wasteland but Planet elrow is teeming with friendly aliens of all types seeking out the best party in the galaxy.

As one of the most sought after experiential events in the world, elrow’s strength comes from its reputation, with NPR calling it ‘the leading adult clubbing brand’. It now attracts more than 5,000 revelers per show as it heads into its fifth year of its New York residency. Transahara returns to the Sahara Desert in 2022

Tickets: https://www.dunescandance.com

Date: 17th – 21st March, 2022
Facebook | Instagram

Transahara, the festival hosted at the location of Hollywood films The Mummy, Gladiator and Prince of Persia, will be soundtracked by Sebastian Mulleart, Bas Ibellini, D-Nox, John Acquaviva, MR ID and more

Transahara is the most authentic and original desert festival in the world. It is a magical musical oasis in a dried-up Moroccan lake in the shadow of a mysterious sand dune that you normally only find deep in the Sahara desert. It plays out near the city of Merzouga from the 17th to 21st March 2022 and coincides with the equinox, a very special and spiritual moment that marks the passage from winter to spring, darkness to light, meaning you will simultaneously see the moon setting and the sun rising on the same breathtaking horizon. It boasts three carefully curated stages, including The Einstein Rosen Bridge which will be headlined by Adama, Aija, Beardy Weardy, Brojanowski, Eat Static, Emok, Guiseppe, and The Stephen Hawking Gate, headlined by Sebastian Mulleart, AMVN, Bas Ibellini, D-Nox, Eitan Reiter, John Acquaviva, Nitin, Miyagi, Konstantin, MR ID and many more.

This majestic desert landscape has a mystical atmosphere where the sands of time pass slowly, the seductive silence of the dunes soothe the soul, and the infinite horizons empty your mind. It is steeped in Arab-Berber culture and is famous for its vibrant colours and exotic foods. It is a true desert paradise where many iconic scenes in Hollywood films like The Mummy, Gladiator, Lawrence of Arabia, James Bond and Prince of Persia: The Sands of Time have been filmed, where Jean Michel Jarre performed one of his most legendary live shows and where, in time, Transahara will be Africa’s very own Burning Man

Transahara started way back in 2002. Initially, it was a low-key coming together of music lovers with a small budget and a big dream. Rather than chasing corporate sponsorship and racing to sell hundreds of thousands of tickets, it simply grew at a steady rate. Some years, there wasn’t even a festival at all. The music and the experience were always most important, rather than doing an event for the sake of it. But now, Transahara is ready to return and make its mark again.

For five days and four nights only, this ancient location will become a mixing pot of cultural exchange, artistic expression, and world-class house, psytrance, chill out and techno. There will be three stages with their own cultured look and feel. They will act as inter-dimensional and inter-musical portals to different worlds and have music playing non-stop between them
There will be a real interplay between sounds and scenes because the desert is where psytrance was born. It is also the beating heart of the so-called desert house sound that has become so popular around the world. At Transahara you will be able to get the most authentic mix of spiritual sounds, desert grooves and transcendental moods in the world. DJ sets will be carefully curated so that they all add up to storytelling musical journeys. Live music, traditional local bands and stunning acoustic sessions will also feature, as will a host of special after-parties.
The names bringing the world class sounds include deep techno don Sebastian Mulleart, cult tech house figure Bas Ibellini, enduring techno pioneer John Acquaviva plus a range of contemporary tastemakers including D-Nox, Eitan Reiter, Nitin, Miyagi, Konstantin, Adama, Aija, Beardy Weardy, Brojanowski, Eat Static and many more.

Transahara is for people from all over the world on all sorts of budgets. Accommodation is as close as 400m or only as far as 3.5km away in the rich array of local hotels, campsites and bell tents that will suit all tastes. This means travelers from all over the world will be able to plot their own journeys, share their stories and add to the unique atmosphere of this unique desert gathering.

In the coming months, there will be details of specially organised day trips to the local towns and historic sites which include the bustling markets of Marrakech, camel treks and UNESCO World Heritage villages. A whole wellness village with a wealth of local customs, cultures and healing treatments will also be unveiled, with an extensive range of art installations also set to pop up across the site to make it an even more sensory-stimulating experience.
Transahara will transport you into a desert world like no other. It will be a genuine escape from everyday life. An eye-opening, unforgettable mix of music, culture, and art with open-minded people from all over the world.

Claptone, DJ Pierre and Mr C headline Set for Love Xmas Appeal on World Children’s Day

CLAPTONE, DJ PIERRE AND MR.C HEADLINE THE SET FOR LOVE XMAS APPEAL, LAUNCHING ON WORLD CHILDREN’S DAY, 20TH NOVEMBER, IN ASSOCIATION WITH PIONEER DJ

Claptone, Mr.C, DJ Pierre, Krafty Kuts and Barbrara Tucker are just some of the artists confirmed to play a Set For Love to help the Last Night A DJ Saved My Life charity (LNADJ) launch their Xmas Appeal.  The campaign kicks off with a series of livestreams and live events centred around World Children’s Day on the 20th November and will run until the end of the year.

The charity is encouraging promoters and DJs of all levels, around the world, to get involved by either streaming a set or hosting an event to raise funds for their campaigns that create a sustainable future for children in developing countries.  Anyone wanting to participate can register at setforlove.org and will receive everything they need to promote their event and raise funds as part of the campaign.

Mr.C’s Superfreq brand is one of the key events already on the Set For Love calendar. He’s hosting a loft party in Los Angeles headlined by none other than Acid House pioneer DJ Pierre. All profits from the party will be donated to the Set For Love Xmas Appeal. The event takes place on Friday 19th November, with Superfreq residents David Scuba, Xo Chic and DJ Ideal completing the line up.

The sets from the Superfreq party will also be a highlight in the Set For Love headliners livestream showcase taking place across the launch weekend. The livestream showcase starts on Saturday 20th November, World Children’s Day itself, from 7pm 12am BST with Claptone headlining and the Superfreq show will kick off on Sunday 21st November from 7pm BST.

Richard West AKA Mr.C said, “It’s such a pleasure for myself and Superfreq to be working with Last Night A DJ Saved My Life foundation and Set For Love for such a great cause as World Children’s Day, here in Los Angeles.

The work they’ve been doing over the years is exemplary and shines a leading light on what the dance music industry can achieve for those in need. I hope many more people will get involved.”

Claptone said, “I’m happy to support this great cause with my Set For Love on World Children’s Day.  I’m especially happy to be able to share some new music on the live stream from my new album, ‘Closer’, So two beautiful things have come together and it feels good to do good!”

Krafty Kuts said, “I feel privileged and honoured to be a part of this incredible event, alongside some very prestigious artists. Having children myself I know how difficult it has been for the last few years but I cannot imagine how hard it is for some of the children less fortunate, so I am very happy to do anything I can to help raise money for this awesome project. I hope you all enjoy my Set For Love and I thank everyone for their support!”

Set For Love made headlines around the globe last year when it grew to become the world’s largest simultaneous DJ livestream during lockdown. Influential artists including Carl Cox, Sasha, Eats Everything, Miss Monique, Louie Vega, Nightmares On Wax, Anfisa Letyago, Huxley and many more have been involved in the charitable project. During 2020 the event raised over £165K across several events, with DJs participating from 80 countries. The funds raised continue to make a difference to hundreds of children affected by abuse and sexual exploitation, extreme poverty, child labour, lack of access to water and lack of access to education.

In celebration of the Xmas Appeal, event partner Mixmasters have launched the Set For Love EP on their Mixmasters Red label, in support of Midi Minds Kenya. A project that explores the sounds of Samburu culture through electronic music, all proceeds from the EP will go to build a classroom in a primary school where the Sounds of Sasaab sample pack was recorded. The release was developed as part of the Mixmasters programme where worldwide established artist Huxley remixed the samples of The Samburu tribe and then chose 2 winners from the Mixmasters worldwide community to join him on this release. The track can be bought here SET FOR LOVE EP ON BEATPORT

For more information, to register or to donate please visit www.setforlove.org.  The headliners showcase can be viewed on Saturday 20th and Sunday 21st November from 7pm – 12am BST at www.setforlove.org and www.dancetv.net/live

Studio 338 Heads to Ibiza With Flagship Night ‘Release’ Hosting Uncovered Day Time Parties

Website:www.releaseldn.com

IG:https://www.instagram.com/releaseldn/

After almost 10 years as a leading light in London’s House and Techno scene, super club Studio 338 finally takes the leap over to the White Isle next Summer as Ibiza returns to action. Presenting their flagship brand ´Release´ at an as-yet-undisclosed location for a summer series of day time parties every Friday in an rarely used, uncovered venue. Expect wild raves which will go on into the night and re-ignite the spirit of Ibiza´s golden era.

Release parties in London have so far featured the likes of Marco Carola, Richy Ahmed, Steve Lawler, East End Dubs, Ilario Alicante and lots more. Constantly selling out Studio 338´s huge terrace and gaining a reputation for high-end visual production including immersive video mapping and their trademark butterfly motif.

In Ibiza, the brand will team up with a number of key parties from their London home, bringing Studio 338 vibes straight to Ibiza for the first time but have pledged to keep prices sensible for the Summer as people recover from the pandemic: something rarely seen in Ibiza these days.

Every Friday daytime, ravers can expect to hear the most upfront artists in Techno and Tech House under the blue sky of Ibiza, in partnership with the hottest UK brands from across the country as well as high-end immersive production after sunset.

Ibiza insiders are tipping Release as a contender for breakout party in 2022 as clubbers can finally return to the dancefloors of the White Isle.

Says Studio 338’s Dan Perrin, “Ibiza has always been our logical next step for many reasons, so during the enforced break we got to work planning something really special and new for the island. Release has exploded at home and it provides the perfect platform for us to bring along all the elements which have made the party and the club so successful.  This will include some key brands from the UK and our own take on programming and production. It’s a really exciting step for all of us and I hope it adds a dimension to Ibiza which seems to have faded over the years…a proper daytime rave. The location we have will surprise people and again break from business as usual in Ibiza. That’s what we did all those years ago when we first started out in London… now it’s time to do it again.”

Helping to make each party unforgettable will be cult brands like Dance on Arrival, Buena Vida, Summer Solstice, Fuego, TASTÉ, Limit and many more to be announced who will add their own individual musical personalities to each night.

Release is set to be the one and only daytime party you need to complete your authentic 2022 Ibiza experience.
