| Following the monumental success of the 2026 concert series curated by Robert Smith, Teenage Cancer Trust is proud to announce that Shirley Manson will take the helm as guest curator for the shows at the Royal Albert Hall from 15-21 March 2027. To mark the announcement, a video has been released of Garbage’s extraordinary performance of The Cure’s ‘Lovesong’ at their 2026 Teenage Cancer Trust show. Shirley Manson is the second guest curator of the legendary week-long Royal Albert Hall fundraising concert series, which was launched and curated by Teenage Cancer Trust Honorary Patron Sir Roger Daltrey from 2000 to 2025. For the 2026 events, as well as lining up an unbeatable Night Of Comedy, Robert Smith called up headliners Wolf Alice, Elbow, Manic Street Preachers, My Bloody Valentine, Mogwai and Garbage themselves, raising £1.4 million so far for the charity, providing vital support for young people with cancer across the UK. Shirley Manson, who delivered a standout performance including classics such as ‘I’m Only Happy When It Rains’ and ‘Stupid Girl’, said: “To follow in the footsteps of the great Sir Roger Daltrey and most beloved Robert Smith by being invited to curate next year’s run of shows is one of the greatest honours that has ever been bestowed upon me. I consider it an immense privilege to continue helping raise funds and awareness for our all too often forgotten teenagers in the UK who are living with cancer and the struggle that this entails. I hope to curate a fine week of entertainment, calling upon some of my favourite artists to join the cause. I am so looking forward to seeing it all come together at the Royal Albert Hall next year and I hope to see you there.” Robert Smith said: “Having played a few Teenage Cancer Trust at the Royal Albert Hall shows with The Cure, it was a real honour to curate the series in 2026, bringing together so many of my favourite artists to perform for such a great cause. The response and support from the audience, in the hall itself and all around the world, was really incredible. Garbage were one of the highlights of a stellar week, and I am very sure Shirley, with her great energy, commitment and values, will do a fantastic job in 2027.” Roger Daltrey said: “To have a female musician with a great reputation for quality work is something that’s been at the top of my wishlist going forward. I will always be there for her if she needs any help with anything.” Rob Ballantine, Promoter, SJM Concerts, said: “We owe a huge debt of gratitude to Robert Smith for working so hard and making our job as promoters so much easier this year. His vision resulted in one of the most memorable weeks in the history of these shows. We are equally grateful to Shirley for agreeing to curate 2027; we are already bowled over by her energy and enthusiasm, and the planning is already well underway for another landmark year.” Jane Ashton, Head of Music & Entertainment at Teenage Cancer Trust said: “We are delighted to welcome Shirley as our curator for 2027.“Cancer kills more teenagers and young adults in the UK than any other disease, yet cancer care wasn’t made for young people. Shirley’s passion for our cause was electrifying to see during this year’s shows and we can’t wait to see who she invites to play next year.” Jules Worrall, Interim Chief Executive of Teenage Cancer Trust, said: “I want to say a huge thank you to Robert Smith for the 2026 shows – together we have raised a phenomenal amount which will be truly life-changing for young people with cancer. And Garbage’s performance was a stand-out moment of the shows this year, so it’s incredibly exciting that Shirley Manson is taking up the baton of curating for 2027. Shirley spoke so emotionally at this year’s shows about how important teenagers are for the future of the country and the importance of supporting them – and we couldn’t agree more. We’re delighted to have her energy and passion on board.” Teenage Cancer Trust at the Royal Albert Hall was funded in 2000 by the charity’s Honorary Patron, Sir Roger Daltrey, and has raised over £36 million to date. About Teenage Cancer Trust at The Royal Albert Hall 2026 marks the 24th year of Teenage Cancer Trust’s phenomenally successful flagship events at the Royal Albert Hall, which were started by the charity’s Honorary Patron and lead-singer of The Who, Sir Roger Daltrey. Some of the biggest names in entertainment have now raised more than £36 million for Teenage Cancer Trust which helps to fund specialist nurses, hospital units and support services right across the UK that help get young people through some unimaginably hard times. Since 2000 audiences at Teenage Cancer Trust’s annual gigs have witnessed some extraordinary, once in a lifetime shows, from Noel Gallagher and Damon Albarn performing together for the first time ever in 2013, Sir Paul McCartney in 2012, plus the likes of Oasis, Muse, Nile Rodgers & CHIC, Ed Sheeran, Florence + The Machine, Rudimental and many more. There have been many legendary moments. Sir Paul McCartney was joined on stage in 2012 for the Beatles’ ‘Get Back’ by Sir Roger Daltrey, Ronnie Wood and Paul Weller – marking a Beatle, Rolling Stone and The Who joining forces. Muse played in 2008, their only show in the UK that year apart from two sold out Wembley Stadiums. They called it, “one of the best gigs of our lives.” The Cure played a three-hour set on two consecutive nights in 2014, bringing the house down with 45 songs. Some of the brightest lights in comedy have lit up the stage too, with an annual evening featuring the likes of Mo Gilligan, Kevin Bridges, Miranda Hart, Kerry Godliman, John Bishop, Frankie Boyle, Noel Fielding, Jon Richardson, Russell Howard, James Corden, Joel Dommett and many more. In 2026, the lineup featured Maisie Adam, Bridget Christie, Jack Dee, Andy Hamilton, Dom Joly, Miles Jupp, Athena Kugblenu, Stewart Lee and Dara Ó Briain. In 2024 a special show was staged as an ovation for Sir Roger Daltrey’s years of service, with turns by the likes of Paul Weller, Kelly Jones, Eddie Vedder and Robert Plant. About Teenage Cancer Trust Teenage Cancer Trust is the only UK charity providing specialised nursing care and support for young people with cancer. The charity funds specialist nurses, youth workers and hospital units within the NHS, and is there for anyone diagnosed with cancer aged 13-24, and their loved ones too. The Damned – announce Final Damnation 50 UK Tour
Half a century after igniting the fuse of the British punk explosion, The Damned announce a celebratory UK tour.
Following a triumphant 50th Anniversary show at the OVO Arena Wembley in April and a forthcoming global run that will include the Sydney Opera House and a massive North American return, they step back on British soil in November and December 2026 for ‘Final Damnation 50’.
The first UK punk band to ever release a single, an album and tour the US, it is also a chance to catch the legendary line-up of Dave Vanian, Captain Sensible, Rat Scabies, Paul Gray, and Monty Oxymoron.
Rat Scabies – “Half a century on and who’d have thought we would still be upright and breathing? We never thought we’d make it this far and neither did you! But here we are, a finely tuned engine. The Damned still has the power and finesse to excite, entertain and accelerate into our 50th year.”
Captain Sensible – “With 50 years of catalogue to choose from, only the best songs from our chequered history will be performed, and with the passion and commitment all good music lovers deserve. You know we won’t disappoint.”

At the OVO Arena Wembley gig on April 11th, they treated their faithful to 25 songs over 3 sets, reflecting their definitive influence on punk, goth and psychedelia.
Earlier this year, they released an acclaimed covers album, Not Like Everybody Else, featuring tracks that the late, great founding member Brian James loved and that helped shape the band.
And to ensure maximum fun, The Damned are bringing Australian punk pioneers, The Saints ’73-’78 along as special guests. Led by founding members – guitarist Ed Kuepper and drummer Ivor Hay – the line-up features an all-star cast including Mick Harvey (The Birthday Party/The Bad Seeds) and Jim White (Dirty Three), alongside Mark Arm (Mudhoney) on vocals. Together, they will be performing the raw, groundbreaking material from The Saints‘ first three fabled albums ((I’m) Stranded, Eternally Yours, and Prehistoric Sounds), marking 50 years since their own explosive debut.

Sammy Hagar & The Best Of All Worlds Band Announce UK Tour Update
Rock icon Sammy Hagar today announced a revised itinerary for his forthcoming UK tour, bringing his top-grossing Best Of All Worlds Tour to a series of more intimate, tech-forward performing arts venues. Inspired by the breakthrough success of his recent Las Vegas residency at Dolby Live, where advanced sound and immersive technology redefined the live experience, the July 2026 dates have been reconfigured to prioritise similar venues across the UK. The updated routing also allows for a special multi-night run in London, where Hagar and the band will be among the first artists to headline the soon-to-open British Airways ARC.
Featuring Rock & Roll Hall Of Fame inductees Sammy Hagar and Michael Anthony, 15-time GRAMMY nominee and guitar virtuoso Joe Satriani and powerhouse drummer Kenny Aronoff, The Best Of All Worlds Band will perform at Wolverhampton’s Civic Hall (6 July), Manchester’s O2 Apollo (7 July) and London’s British Airways ARC (9-12 July). Tickets go on general sale on Friday 24 April at 10am via https://www.aegpresents.co.uk/event/sammy-hagar/.
Sammy Hagar said: “After waiting 30 years to come back, we really wanted to get this right. Several factors pushed us toward revising this tour but after wrapping our Las Vegas residency last month at Dolby Live where the sound, the technology, and the more intimate size really lets us connect with the audiences, it was clear that we wanted to deliver an experience like that for our fans in England. When I heard our promoter was opening a similar tech-forward venue in London that really sealed the deal for me. Three nights, a fresh set every night, and I get to stay in London, one of my favorite cities in the world, for a week. That’s the Best of All Worlds!”
Sammy returns to the UK for his first tour since 1996, with a setlist celebrating his legendary 50+ year catalogue of hits, including the deepest dive yet into his tenure with Van Halen. The UK tour represents a once-in-a-lifetime opportunity to see this band of brothers deliver one of the most legendary hits-packed live shows of their careers. Fans can expect a setlist featuring hits like “Why Can’t This Be Love”, “5150”, “Best Of Both Worlds”, “I Can’t Drive 55” and more. This will be the first time Sammy Hagar has performed Van Halen classics in the UK since the band’s iconic Wembley Stadium shows 30 years ago. The supergroup will take to the stage at three venues in the UK: University of Wolverhampton at the Civic Hall, Manchester O2 Apollo, and finally the London British Airways ARC for a three night residency.
Fans who purchased tickets for the original UK dates will be contacted directly and offered priority presale access for the new shows, along with a 10% merchandise offer on show nights. The band thanks fans for their continued support and looks forward to delivering this newly enhanced live experience across the UK. Tickets go on sale on Friday 24 April at 10am via https://www.aegpresents.co.uk/event/sammy-hagar/.

Alice Cooper Announces Definitive Memoir ‘Devil on my Shoulder’ & UK Book Tour
| Alice Cooper announces the release of his definitive autobiography, ‘Devil on my Shoulder’, published by Ebury Spotlight on 8th October 2026. This long-awaited autobiography finally lifts the lid on one of the greatest lives in music. Building on over sixty years of rock folklore, Cooper will support the book’s launch with an intimate 8-date UK speaking tour. Each evening will feature the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame inductee in conversation with a special guest moderator, followed by an audience Q&A, offering fans a rare glimpse behind the greasepaint and guillotines. There are two, seemingly irreconcilable, Alice Coopers – the murderous, morally corrupt theatrical character who threatened the moral fibre of the western world… and the man who plays him, a sober pastor’s son who has been happily married for 50 years. Along the way, the two became schizophrenically intertwined. And in a haze of pioneering rock n roll, alcohol, drugs, iconic songs and wild gigs, guillotines, slaughtered chickens, legendary friends, rumours, snakes, Ouija boards, surrealism, house fires and car crashes – they nearly killed each other. “Alice is still on tour around the world today, a proper senile delinquent playing hundreds of gigs every year, while I myself am reformed. And with the benefit of hindsight and a certain maturity, I’d like to describe our journey to Hell and back together, because it’s not only rock stars who can lose their way.” In the Sixties and early Seventies, Alice Cooper was simply a rock group, but as their lead singer, Vincent Damon Furnier, developed his modern-day Grand Guignol character, Alice Cooper became his stage name. Then, on a wave of global success, he legally changed it to his own. “I was born Vincent Damon Furnier but, seduced by my character’s reputation, changed my name legally to Alice Cooper, and in the process lost sight of who I really was. The mild-mannered, all-American boy I’d once been became a monster and a mortal danger to himself.” With a career spanning six decades, Alice’s story features witty, intimate anecdotes featuring Salvador Dalí, Bob Hope, John Lennon, Groucho Marx, Vincent Price, Frank Sinatra, Errol Flynn, Bette Davis, Jimi Hendrix, Gerald Ford, Andy Warhol, Tiger Woods, to name a few, but he’s also an acute observer of dysfunction and despair, wildness and criminality, urges and addictions, transgressions and human goodness. And so he tells his story from both perspectives: angel on one shoulder, devil on the other. “Me and Alice were getting creative with the truth long before the Age of Fake News. Now, after over thirty records and sixty-plus years of fibs and fabrications, I think it’s time to sort the truth from the rumors and lies.” Devil on My Shoulder is the definitive memoir from one of the most iconic music artists of our generation. |

Nick Cave & The Bad Seeds – WILD GOD TOUR
Nick Cave & The Bad Seeds return with new album, ‘Wild God’ on August 30th
“I hope the album has the effect on listeners that it’s had on me,” Cave says. “It bursts out of the speaker, and I get swept up with it. It’s a complicated record, but it’s also deeply and joyously infectious. There is never a masterplan when we make a record. The records rather reflect back the emotional state of the writers and musicians who played them. Listening to this, I don’t know, it seems we’re happy.”
Today, they release ‘Long Dark Night’, the third single from the band’s 18th studio album.

This intimate twilight ballad is inspired by the poem ‘Dark Night of the Soul’ by the Spanish 16th-century poet St. John of the Cross. Through its reflective lyrics, the track evokes the poem’s themes of struggle and transcendence.
Cave says, “Long Dark Night is inspired by one of the greatest and most powerful poems of conversion ever written. Ultimately, though, it’s a beautiful country tune. It feels like a sweet companion to the song, Wild God.”
Across ten tracks, the band dance between convention and experimentation, taking left-turns and detours that heighten the rich imagery and emotion in Cave’s soul-stirring narratives. It is the sound of a group emboldened by reconnection and taking flight. There are moments that touch fondly upon the Bad Seeds’ past but they are fleeting, and serve only to imbue the relentless and restless forward motion of the band.
Produced by Cave and Warren Ellis, and mixed by David Fridmann, Cave began writing the album on New Year’s Day 2023. With sessions at Miraval in Provence and Soundtree in London, the Bad Seeds added their unique alchemy, with additional performances from Colin Greenwood (bass) and Luis Almau (nylon string guitar, acoustic guitar).
“Wild God…there’s no fucking around with this record. When it hits, it hits. It lifts you. It moves you. I love that about it.” Nick Cave
‘Wild God’ will be released on Bad Seed in partnership with Play It Again Sam on streaming, CD, and standard and limited edition vinyl. The track listing is as follows:
- Song of the Lake
- Wild God
- Frogs
- Joy
- Final Rescue Attempt
- Conversion
- Cinnamon Horses
- Long Dark Night
- O Wow O Wow (How Wonderful She Is)
- As the Waters Cover the Sea

Icon, pioneer, and Rock And Roll Hall Of Fame inductee – Alice Cooper has achieved so much in his lengthy career. But most importantly, Alice Cooper remains one the greatest rock shows on the planet.

The Too Close For Comfort tour brings fans closer than ever to Alice with giant video screens blending the live action with pre-recorded scenes to delve deeper into Alice’s world.
Expect spectacle – snakes, guillotines, monsters and more – wreaking havoc on stage nightly. Classics like “Under My Wheels,” “I’m Eighteen,” “Schools Out,” “Poison,” “Billion Dollar Babies,” and “No More Mr Nice Guy” are staples and there are surprises every night, effortlessly drawn from one the greatest catalogues in rock and roll.
Fresh from the success of his latest album ‘Road,’ a concept album about the thrills and spills of touring, Alice is back, accompanied as always by his long-running live band of Ryan Roxie (guitar), Chuck Garric (bass), Tommy Henrikson (guitar), Glen Sobel (drums), and Nita Strauss (guitar).
“For ‘Road’, I wanted the band to be involved in the foundation of all the songs,” says Alice. “I only see these guys when we’re on the road. So, I wanted them to be as tight as they are for the show but on all new material. When you have a band this good, I believe in showing it off, and this is my way of doing so.”
Primal Scream, one of Britain’s best-loved rock bands, will join Alice for the tour, in all cities except London. The Glasgow band have been on an odyssey, making jangly guitar pop to brash rock n roll, incorporating acid house and psychedelia into unique records and live experiences. Frontman Bobby Gillespie cites Alice’s shocking appearances on 1970s Top of the Pops as a formative influence.
In London, legendary Sex Pistols guitarist and songwriter Glen Matlock will be Alice’s special guest. And on all dates, up and coming acclaimed punks The Meffs will support.
