Amnesia Ibiza comes to SW4 in 2016

Bank Holiday Sunday 28th August will represents a landmark date in British electronic music history as one of the world’s greatest dance institutions, the seminal Amnesia Ibiza, arrives at a UK festival for the very first time.

Taking place on Clapham Common at South West Four 2016, Amnesia will take charge of the festival’s 10,000 capacity indoor arena. The arrival of one of the most important and defining clubs the world has ever seen, signifies one of the most important moments of this summer’s festival season.

“We’ve been waiting a VERY long time to bring the full Amnesia Ibiza experience to a UK festival and we’re very excited about making this a debut none of you will ever forget! We have a great affinity with London and are old friends with the team behind South West Four so it feels like the natural choice for us. We can’t wait to showcase many of our resident DJs and favourite artists at SW4, as well as all the trimmings you have come to expect from Amnesia. If we don’t see you on the White Isle we will see you in August!” Amnesia Ibiza

Ranked as one of the most popular clubbing destinations on the planet, the multi-award winning Ibizan superclub has been long established as a mecca of dance music with thousands making the pilgrimage to San Rafael every summer. Boasting an outstanding weekly programme of the greatest parties on the White Isle, coupled with incredible production, there really is no better place to experience electronic music quite like at Amnesia Ibiza.

After choosing South West Four for their UK festival debut, the dance music powerhouse will present the unique spirit of Ibiza by bringing the full Amnesia experience exclusively to Clapham Common. Everything from their iconic dancers and uncompromising Co2 cannons will be flown over to ensure that this is delivered in a way never before seen on British soil. To complete their inaugural takeover, a leading cast of extremely special guests have been invited to join us in celebrating this very special showcase. Ranging from legends of the main room to kings of the terrace, this group of esteemed Amnesia ambassadors guarantee to leave us with a catalogue of truly unforgettable memories in of the most important dates in London’s 2016 clubbing calendar.

Hailed as the ‘King of Amnesia’, there is no better man on earth fit to headline their first ever UK outdoor experience than Sven Vath. Having dominated both the main room and terrace through his remarkable Cocoon residency now in its seventeenth year, Mondays at the club have become synonymous with his treasured party. In the past SW4 has seen Sven perform at his very best and 2016 will be no different, as the wax-wielding wizard arrives for his exclusive London festival performance in hugely familiar surroundings.

In addition to Papa Sven we’re extremely excited to showcase the twisted techno alias of Eric Prydz aka Cirez D. Here Eric explores the darker end of the electronic spectrum by joining us as the stage’s very special guest. Last seen in the UK at SW4 in 2011, this will be Cirez D’s first appearance in London in half a decade, making this without doubt one of the most exciting bookings seen at a festival this year. 2016 will see the global icon’s techno-driven sounds shake Clapham Common to its very core as Cirez D looks set to write a new chapter in South West Four’s and Amnesia’s acclaimed history.

Undoubtedly one of the biggest bookings of our entire two-day Bank Holiday Weekender, two Ibizan stalwarts will go head-to-head for the first time ever in the UK. After witnessing the coming together of two of the underground’s most celebrated DJs last summer, we’re pleased to reveal that Jamie Jones vs Joseph Capriati will arrive at South West Four this summer in a full UK festival exclusive. Responsible for the greatest Ibizan highlight of 2015 at DC10, the demand to see Jamie and Joseph play back to back is phenomenal. Each at the very top of their game, this is simply unmissable.

Considered amongst the true greats of electronic music and ranked within its most influential characters, SW4 is honoured to welcome back Danny Tenaglia for his first performance at the festival in eight years and in another UK festival exclusive. This will form his first show on London soil in over a year, making his return all the more special. Danny’s relationship with Amnesia dates back over twenty years where his sets have become the stuff of legend and joins them in a hugely anticipated return to Clapham Common.

Having been heavily involved in Amnesia’s programming over the years and holding an outstanding residency at the club since 1999, Mar-T has become a firm fixture in making the White Isle’s #1 club what it is today. He will arrive for his SW4 debut alongside breakthrough Spanish talent Cuartero who also joins us for the first time following superb sessions at Amnesia throughout last season.

CULTURE SHOCK

Responsible for developing drum and bass’ most promising breakthrough talent into the genre’s greatest artists over the years, RAM simply stands in a league of its own. From releasing seminal, timeliness classics to hosting international arenas and residencies, the imprint’s success is second to none. Last year saw them host a stage in one of the festival greatest ever highlights, this year they’re back with even bigger attack as they host one of our gargantuan 10,000 capacity stages.

Hailing from Belgium and firmly marked as one of Europe’s top talents, Netsky [Live] has confirmed South West Four as his only London festival performance of 2016 and will headline the stage. Championing the underground with standout crossover abilities, we’re extremely pleased to announce that Nick Douwma aka Sub Focus will also join this illustrious drum and bass line-up. His relationship with RAM has seen him grow into the global phenomenon he is today and with a reunion on the horizon at SW4, this is huge. Rising from South London, Wilkinson has confirmed that he will return to South West Four for his exclusive homecoming performance on Saturday 27th August. After headlining a RAM NYE 2015 to a sold out Brixton Academy, the demand for his return is unbelievable.

Circus Records founder Flux Pavilion has chosen South West Four as the exclusive date for his the full debut of his mesmerizingly immersive live show. After providing the capital with a ground-breaking performance at Ministry of Sound in Dolby Atmos last weekend, we can officially reveal that he joins us the stage’s very special guest. Mastering an uncompromisingly original and emotional sound, the Dutch trio of Noisia are renowned for their unparalleled technical skill and instantly recognisable techniques and also join us. Camo & Krooked have enjoyed an incredible rise to the top of the ever-changing world of electronic music thanks to their unparalleled inimitable style of fusing boundary-pushing sounds. After proving their position at the top of the scene for over a decade, the Austrian duo return to SW4 for another exclusive date.

After reuniting in celebration of their influential imprint Full Cycle, SW4 is pleased to announce the arrival of a truly timeless act. Joining the RAM stage on Saturday 27th August, we are excited to reveal that Full Cycle presents Roni Size & DJ Krust will arrive exclusively on Clapham Common. Favoured for the chaotic carnage, anarchy and disorder witnessed in his previous Clapham Common displays, it’s easy to understand why we’ve invited one of the most revered names in the game back for more of his bone-shaking beats as Friction also returns. Arguably one of the most exciting talents currently rising out of the RAM Records camp, SW4 is excited to bring Toronto’s Rene La Vice to Clapham Common for the very first time.

Fresh from releasing their debut album ‘Paradise Lost’ on RAM earlier this month, inviting Delta Heavy to join us at SW4 was inevitable. As big fans of their trademark sound at here SW4 HQ, we can’t wait to see what the duo have in store for SW4. Armed with new music and plenty of surprises, there’s no doubt this will be worth the wait! Completing RAM’s onslaught for 2016 is one of its favourite and most talented producers. SW4 please get ready for the return of Culture Shock.

JUST ADDED TO SUNDAY 28TH AUGUST

JAMIE JONES VS JOSEPH CAPRIATI

DANNY TENAGLIA • JOHN DIGWEED

JONAS RATHSMAN • CUARTERO • MAR-T

Undoubtedly one of the biggest bookings of our entire two-day Bank Holiday Weekender, this is one we’ve wanted to shout about for some time. After witnessing the coming together of two of the underground’s most celebrated DJs at DC-10 last summer, we’re pleased to reveal that Jamie Jones vs Joseph Capritai will arrive exclusively at South West Four this summer. Responsible for the greatest Ibizan highlight of 2015, the demand to see Jamie and Joseph back together behind a pair of decks is phenomenal. Each weighing in at the very top of their game, this is simply unmissable.

Considered amongst the true greats of electronic music and ranked within its most influential characters, SW4 is honoured to welcome Danny Tenaglia back for his first performance at the festival in eight years. This will form his first UK show in twelve months, making his return all the more special as he joins us for a rare performance on British soil. No artist has made an impact on SW4 quite like our next addition. Returning for an incredible thirteenth year in a row, Bedrock boss John Digweed has formed in inseparable relationship with South West Four over the years. His parties across South London have become the stuff of legend, with his unrivalled ability to create the most sought-after electronic atmospheres.

Having risen through the ranks of Saved, Desolat and Moon Harbour, Cuartero joins us for his debut SW4 performance this August. South West Four 2015 – Sunday Review

There is one thing that is guaranteed every August bank holiday weekend in London, if you want to hear good electronic music, you go to South West Four which takes place in Clapham Common.  Now in its 11th year, the SW4 brand has skyrocketed and sells out year after year bringing to London the best electronic music acts the world has to offer.

This year was no exception with Faithless, Eric Prydz, Fatboy Slim, Pete Tong, Gorgon City and more taking over Saturday.  On Sunday the likes of Skrillex, Armin Van Buuren's Gaia, Carl Cox, Loco Dice, Martin Garrix, Sigma and more had the crowds stomping like never before.

The other thing you can pretty much guarantee on in a August Bank Holiday is the rain!  Foutunately for us on Sunday, it stayed overcast most of the day and the rain held off.

This year SW4 had grown with a new arena and immediately you could feel that the grounds were a bit busier with the extra capacity than previous years.  Sunday headliner Skrillex took to the main stage just after 9pm with a massive LED screen setup that was displaying images from camera's pointed at his equipment and of the crowd in front of him.  A ever popular drawcard, Skrillex kicked off with his remix of Red Lips whilst managing to scale the setup to stand upon a platform and address the crowd to go crazy!  Tracks like the commercially popular 'Where r u now' have the crowd singing and bouncing to the drum and bass sound that Skrillex has mastered over the years. With the day turning into night, pyrotechnics going off above the stage, and a massive crowd adorning the main stage Skrillex brought to a close another successful weekend in SW4's history.

Earlier on in the day the crowd was treated to some high energy performances on the main stage by Basement Jaxx, Martin Garrix, Sigma & Gaia.  Basement Jaxx's full band and ensemble was a pleasure to watch as they belted out hits like 'Romeo', 'Do your thing' and crowd pleaser 'Where's your head at'.  Martin Garrix treated the crowd with a typical arms in the air performance playing out hits like 'Latch', 'Cant Feel My Face', 'How Deep is Your Love', 'Animals' and more.  Sigma brought their full setup to the SW4 main stage and did not disappoint.  Their performance was a highlight of the day and with a raft of hits well known to the audience, Sigma was the perfect mid afternoon act to set the tone for the rest of the evening.  Tunes like 'Higher', 'Show Me Love', 'Glitterball' & 'Nobody to Love' kept the crowd bouncing through the performance.

Armin Van Burren brought the debut of his Gaia show to SW4 and it was quite different to Armin's previous performances. Resembling what can only be described as as a Star Wars Jedi in a hooded robe, both Armin and Benno De Goeji step up to the raised stage creating quite the mysterious atmosphere.  This is not an extravagant performance but musically its trance at its finest and the crowd reciprocates by dancing and applauding tunes like 'Tuvan', '4 elements' and more.  Its quite refreshing to see a performance that is purely about the music with some decent visuals to match.  There is no hands in the air or jumping on decks to get the crowd going, its two guys playing great tunes!

Elsewhere at SW4 Carl Cox and Loco Dice went back to back in the DJ Mag arena which was full from start to end.  It's always a given that if Carl Cox is playing you know what to expect from the big man.  His bouncing behind the decks and his driving bass heavy tune selection always whip the crowds into a frenzy.

Example took to a smaller stage in the Together arena and with the crowd up against all walls of the tent, it was easy to see that he has a massive following at SW4 having performed multiple times over the previous years.  You could feel the heat pouring out the gaps in the tent as Example treated the crowd to 'Watch the sun come up', 'Kickstarts' & 'Changed the way you kiss me'.

So another bank holiday weekend over and yet again another brilliant time at SW4.  If you need an electronic music fix next year in the August Bank holiday weekend then I suggest you get your tickets as soon as they are released for this ever popular festival.

[UK FESTIVAL EXCLUSIVE]
GEORGE FITZGERALD
DENSE & PIKA
WAX WINGS

A RAM stage simply wouldn’t be complete without our next act. Lauded for their complex and unique take on the drum & bass sound, Calyx & Teebee have played an intrinsic role at RAM since exclusively signing to the label back in 2013. Having also impressed at Brixton Academy and fabric, their position at the forefront of the UK scene has never been more apparent. As an act we’ve always had our ears on, bringing them to SW4 is very much mission complete. With their new album catching all the headlines, their inaugural SW4 performance on the RAM stage is one we can’t wait for.

A true master of his craft and pioneer of his sound, we are delighted to announce that Deetron will join us for the debut his brand new live show in a UK festival exclusive. Having marked his territory within underground circles over recent years, his new direction of mixing sultry vocals with dainty chords and tough compositions has led to a global army of fresh support. All of which are expected to be out in force for as the Swiss-born producer prepares for a career defining performance at South West Four.

Next is an act that we have been monitoring for some time and with 2015 shaping up to be his biggest yet; we’re pleased to confirm that George FitzGerald will make his SW4 debut on Sunday 30th August. Joining Maya Jane Coles in her arena, George joins us following the release of stellar debut album ‘Fading Love’ and at the height of his career. His deep musical knowledge and strong links to Domino, Double Six and Hotflush Records make him of the of the UK’s hottest talents and one we’re extremely excited to showcase this summer. Don’t miss it.

Also making their SW4 debut in 2015 are UK house and techno producers Dense & Pika. Made up of Chris Spero aka Glimpse and Hypercolour co-founder Alex Jones, the Hotflush signed duo have established themselves as one of the most exciting underground acts around today. With three stellar EP’s under their belt, recent performances include Panorama Bar and fabric, whilst upcoming dates confirmed at Awakenings and Hideout plus DC10’s Paradise, illustrates their pedigree. With an arsenal of innovative dancefloor focussed techno ready to be unleashed at South West Four, they also added to Maya’s stage in one of the weekend’s most forward-thinking line-ups.

Completing the Maya Jane Coles & Friends arena line-up is one of the undergrounds most promising talents as we introduce Joseph Icaro aka Wax Wings. A firm favourite within the MJC camp, the past twelve months have seen the young producer mark his territory with a series of standout dates including The Warehouse Project and Gottwood festival as well as supporting Maya across Europe. A brilliant producer and remixer including two outstanding remixes for The Presets and Zebra Katz, this breakthrough star is certainly one to watch out for this summer.

SW4 2015 main stage lineups complete

When it comes to modern times, no other musical prodigy has dominated airwaves and filled stadiums across the planet like Martin Garrix. In the space of less than two years this Dutch teenager has taken the world by storm, with a list of achievements which often prove difficult to comprehend. Aged just 16, Martin became the youngest producer to have ever reached the number one spot in the Beatport charts. He has since achieved a UK #1 selling single, broke Top 10 charts in a further ten countries and headlined many of the world’s most popular electronic music festivals including Ultra, Electric Daisy Carnival, Tomorrowland and Mysterland. In an ultra-rare London performance, Martin returns to the Capital on Sunday 30th August to make his South West Four debut. We’re ready. Are you?

ALSO ADDED TO SW4 LINEUP…

CLAPTONE [LIVE]

KIDNAP KID · SAM DIVINE

JESSE JAMES & JOHNNY BLOOMFIELD · HILTON CASWELL · BOWLER

As one of the hottest artists currently residing in the global electronic scene, South West Four is delighted to bring Claptone’s incredible live show to London for the very first time on Saturday 29th August. Having featured on Radio1’s Essential Mix and headlined Ministry of Sound this past weekend alone, Claptone has been on a crest of a wave in recent times. His latest track ‘The Music Got Me’ achieved Essential New Tune status on Pete Tong’s Radio1 show a couple of weeks back, which along with ‘Forest Of Love’ and his superb remix of Gregory Porter’s ‘Liquid Spirit’, has completed a hat-trick of Claptone productions which have stormed Beatport’s ‘Deep House’ Top 10 this year. With more productions on their way this summer via his debut album, the man behind the mask will illustrate at SW4 that when it comes to 2015, this is the year of Claptone.

A key member of Rudimental’s colossal Black Butter camp, Kidnap Kid has ridden the house and garage renaissance of recent times, to develop his own sound that makes him difficult to pigeonhole. Setting the trends for others to follow, Kidnap Kid represents this very British sound on an international level. His record ‘Vehl’ won iTunes ‘Best Electronic Song’ of 2012, whilst his summer anthem ’Survive’ went straight to the top of the Hype Machine charts. Kidnap Kid has remixed a plethora of musical talent including Disclosure, Rudimental, Clean Bandit and Emile Sande and with the continued backing of Black Butter, the future looks very bright for this young tastemaker. Kidnap Kid can be found playing Fatboy Slim’s Smile High Club at SW4 on Saturday 29thAugust.

As the first lady of Defected Records, Sam Divine is the guaranteed floor-filler and party starter who has developed into one of the most popular and passionate DJs on the house circuit. Armed with a summer diary filled with tour dates across Europe and beyond, her sets are a blend of deep, vocal and Balearic house, with the mighty feline making her South West Four debut on Sunday 30th August. With a new summer residency on the horizon in the Defected room at Together at Amnesia Ibiza, Sam has carved herself a formidable path. Set to enjoy a strong and long lasting career we can’t wait to bring her to Clapham Common for the first time this August.

Andy C presents RAM comes to SW4

After witnessing the emphatic return of the ground-breaking Roni Size Reprazent [Live] with a string of sold out shows last year, it was time to get our hands on this drum and bass phenomenon and showcase their talents at South West Four. The seven piece band comprising of Roni Size, Dynamite MC, Onallee, Si John, D Product, Jay Wilcox and Yuval Gabay are an act we’ve deeply loved over the years, so to bring them to Clapham Common is quite simply mission accomplished. They join Andy C and RAM as the stage’s very special guests, with a promise to deliver an extraordinary live show that is sure to go down in SW4 history.

Hailing from Vienna, Camo & Krooked are one of the most electrifying duos of today and one that we welcome to South West Four for the very first time. Having championed the scene for over a decade, their infectious sound has spread worldwide resulting in an army of revellers eagerly awaiting their next move. With SW4 now marked on their tour diary, anticipation is already rising. As leading pioneers of drum and bass, their last London visit saw the Austrian duo ignite Brixton Academy on New Years Eve and if that was anything to go by, you’d better hold tight.

Made up of Gavin Harris and Nick Hill, formerly and respectively known to the drum and bass world as Xample and Lomax, Loadstar has surpassed the very highest of expectations in recent years. By fusing their individual styles, the duo have created a unique sound that imbues club dance floors and festival arenas alike with incredible energy and impeccable musical precision. Firm favourites within the RAM camp, their addition to the stage is huge. Having just completed an incredible tour of the US and Canada including a standout date at RAM’s Miami WMC takeover, the hype for their London return has never been greater.

Dan Havers and Chris Page or better known as DC Breaks have also been hand-picked to be part of this full-blown assault of the senses. Make no mistake about it, when it comes to crafting fierce dance-floor weapons these two are at the top of the class. Signed to RAM in 2010 thanks to their brilliant production skills, the British duo have gone on to release a catalogue of drum and bass debauchery on the label on top of stellar remixes for Tinie Tempah, Loadstar and Example. With their latest offering ‘Faithless’ ft Bianca receiving unconditional support from Andy C himself, their exclusive summer performance will not disappoint.

Also joining the August Bank Holiday madness is another of RAM’s greatest assets. Celebrated as one of the imprint’s most talented producers, we are delighted to welcome Culture Shock on Sunday 30th August. Boasting an array of hugely creative drum and bass productions which take influences from the broadest fields of house, techno and beyond, Culture Shock is a force to be reckoned with. This, along with his eclectic DJ sets, make him one of the most exciting acts to emerge from RAM’s international melting-pot of talent in recent years and one who’s trademark sounds is sure to rattle Clapham Common to its core.

SW4 announce The Gallery 20th anniversary lineup

Having been involved since its birth back in 1995, Paul Oakenfold has gone on to reach legendary status at The Gallery, following a catalogue of countless performances over the past twenty years. A truly remarkable achievement in itself, Paul has played a defining role in the nights two-decade reign. 2015 also marks twenty five years of his label Perfecto Records, a fitting addition to August’s anticipated celebrations. For over thirty years Paul has helped to elevate and shape trance into a genre we all know and love today, with The Gallery providing him the platform to do so. Leaving him out was simply not an option as we bring home a true hero for a very special summer performance.

“After having lived abroad and on the road for so many years there is always something incredibly special about coming back to my home city London. Catching up with family and old friends is always high on the agenda – as is trying to get to Stamford Bridge for a game! But what usually puts the cherry on the top is getting to play a show for my home crowd and this year there’s nowhere better to do that than for The Gallery’s 20th Birthday celebrations at the massive SW4 festival on Clapham Common. There’s a special bond that exists between me and Clapham Common. I’ve had a lot of incredible shows there and I’m sure this year is going to be another to add to that list. I literally can’t wait to be home!"  Paul Oakenfold

Historically South West Four has played host to many ‘major firsts’ and ‘must sees’ but in 2015 we welcome something truly special. Globally celebrated as one of the most defining electronic imprints of today, we are pleased to announce that Anjunabeats will present two of their greatest acts as part of the 20th Birthday celebrations. The first is one of the labels finest and most loved figures, the unmistakeable Andrew Bayer. Following a magical Easter performance as part of Above & Beyond’s album launch party at Brixton Academy, we are pleased to have secured Andrew for his next London performance. His latest EP ‘Do Androids Dream’ has reached worldwide acclaim, something we cannot wait for this August.

Joining Andrew Bayer for this landmark showcase is another of the label’s most cherished assets and one of our favourite guests at The Gallery. Over the past twelve months, Ilan Bluestone has developed a reputation of one of electronic music’s most promising acts and has been marked as Anjunabeats’ next big star Testament to his astronomical rise, Ilan has recently been called upon to re-launch the legendary Anjunabeats Worldwide series following in the footsteps of former label legends and supported by a full US tour. To say we’re excited to bring these two to Clapham Common would be an understatement. Expect the unexpected.

Following their incredible back-to-back performance as part of our 10th Anniversary celebrations back in 2013, we are pleased to welcome back Andy Moor & Lange to present their brand new project Stadium4. After the concepts sensational London debut at The Gallery in March, a summer return has always been on the cards. Individually Andy and Lange are two of trance’s most respected figures with countless championed productions and remixes to their name. In 2015 they reach dizzying new n heights as they take their tag team performance to a whole new level. With an arsenal of brand new music set to showcase on the Common, the return of these masters to present Stadium4 is simply huge. Don’t miss it.

Completing the 20th Anniversary stage is another of trance’s hottest rising stars. With an impressive diary bursting with dates covering all four corners of the globe, Ben Gold returns to South West Four as one of the futures biggest stars. A favourite at The Gallery’s Elephant & Castle home, Ben’s productions have garnered support from trance’s elite with the likes of Armin van Buuren, Paul van Dyk and Tiesto giving him their blessing. 2014 saw Ben conquer Ibiza with a string of dates and devastating performances at both Cream (Amnesia) and ASOT (Ushuaia) and with the summer on the horizon, we can expect more of the same from this promising young talent.

"There is nothing quite like the energy of playing in front of my hometown crowd and there’s no better stage to do it on than at SW4…bring it on!!"  Ben Gold

After what can only be described as an unforgettable experience at The Gallery back in March, we are pleased to welcome back Infected Mushroom who join us at South West Four for the very first time. After delivering one of 2015’s most electrifying performances to date, their return to London will see the Israeli-born, LA-based duo join the 20th anniversary celebrations as the stage’s very special guests. Internationally renowned for their leading role within the Psy trance world, the combined talents of Erez and Amit’s unique fusion of dark hypnotic sounds with complex psychedelic melodies make them one of the most exciting acts to perform on Clapham Common this summer. Don’t miss their SW4 debut on Saturday 29th August.

Together Club announce stage at SW4

From Elephant & Castle to San Rafael via Clapham Common. In 2015 South West Four extends its reach way beyond South London, as we bring our genre-breaking club night Together back to Amnesia Ibiza for a series of unforgettable parties. Kick-starting the season with an exclusive Ibiza launch party at Ministry of Sound on Saturday 6th June, Together will then return to Ibiza’s #1 club every Tuesday for a mammoth sixteen date residency, before returning to the Capital to host a very special arena at SW4 on Sunday 30th August.

With Fatboy Slim confirmed to present the Smile High Club, Together marks the second of our indoor stage announcements and the first for SW4 Sunday. Recognised as one of the most exciting parties in electronic music covering everything from house to garage, drum and bass to electro and everything in-between, South West Four brings Ibiza’s only weekly festival to the UK’s premier inner-city dance festival. With Example + DJ Wire, DJ EZ, Ben Pearce, MistaJam and Shift K3y already announced for the stage, we can now reveal the final five artists who complete the Together line-up and an arena you will simply never forget…

* JUST ANNOUNCED

Having signed to Spinnin’ Records aged just seventeen, Oliver Heldens is the name that’s been on the tip of everyone’s tongue over the past eighteen months.  Recognised for his unique adaption of house and electro sounds, Oliver has enjoyed unprecedented success following the release of ‘Gecko’ (which reached #1 in the UK singles chart), ‘Koala’ and ‘You Know’, featuring Zed’s Dead. Having just released his next summer anthem ‘Melody’ and with ‘Bunny Dance’ receiving support from BBC Radio 1’s Pete Tong, there is no doubt that Oliver Heldens joins us at the very top of his game when he returns to South West Four this summer.

Producer, remixer, DJ and Rinse FM host Chris Lorenzo has spent the past twelve months establishing himself as one of the UK’s finest electronic assets. Also known as one half of Cause & Affect, Lorenzo’s reputation has increased ten-fold thanks to the standout release of ‘Rhymes’ alongside SW4 artist Hannah Wants, in addition to releases on Dirtybird and Food Music. After recently signing to Ultra following remixes of My Nu Leng on Black Butter and Disclosure on PMR, Chris is one of the hottest producers around right now and one we cannot wait to showcase at South West Four on Sunday 30th August for the very first time.

After exploding onto the UK circuit with the heavily supported ‘Bassline’, Bristol-based duo GotSome have produced some of the most exciting tracks to emerge over the past year. Their latest production sees the pair explore different sounds by teaming up with Wiley on ‘Vibe Out’. Signed to Defected and Chase & Status’ MTA Records respectively, GotSome’s spectrum of sound appears to be endless. The recent release of their quintessential summer record, ‘Just A Feeling’, featuring remixes from Sonny Fodera, Franky Rizardo and Phil Weeks is also evidence of their superb talents. SW4 watch out, GotSome are officially on route.

Another act that we’ve kept a firm ear on in recent months is London based duo Tough Love. Made up of Alex and Stef, their weekly residency on Kiss FM and plethora of hugely popular productions make them two of the most inspiring artists around. Most noticeably the release of ‘So Freakin Tight’ has gone on to receive unconditional support from BBC Radio 1 and beyond, as has their ‘In the Name of Love’ with S-Man aka the legendary Roger Sanchez. After choosing SW4 for their only London festival performance of the year, we welcome these rising stars as they are handed their hugely anticipated debut.

Having burst onto the scene in 2013, UK star Josh Butler first found success with his debut release ‘Got a Feeling’ on MTA Records. Since then, Josh has leapt from strength to strength with countless dates across Europe including several for Sankeys Ibiza’s Tribal Sessions and Magna Carta parties. Production wise Josh continues to defy the masses with an impressive catalogue of bass heavy sounds, as well as teaming up with fellow UK producer Bontan. Their hugely successful ‘Be True’ tour recently culminated with a headline performance at London’s Ministry of Sound. To say we’re excited to bring Josh Butler to SW4 would be a serious understatement. In fact we can’t wait.

MANO LE TOUGH

CITIZENN & EJECA PRESENTS MOUNTAIN KING LIVE

“I look back to the old days of me being on the Common and now things have obviously changed a lot, but it’s still South London, it’s still Clapham Common. It’s still true to my roots of where I came from and who I am as a DJ. I have built my career from coming from South London and I’m very proud of that. As I have built my career and become a worldwide name, it all really started from Clapham Common.” Carl Cox

“I have no idea what’s going to happen, I have no clue what’s going to happen.  The only thing I know now is there will be 100% excitement. We are ready for this show for sure. I don’t let it get to close to me otherwise it will drive me crazy. I just deal with it at the moment when I’m on the turntables. That’s the best and it’s very natural and it comes from the heart.” Loco Dice

Carl Cox vs Loco Dice. A meeting of minds. A meeting of masters. At SW4 2013 these two titans clashed for the very first time in the UK with a set which went down as one of the greatest in our history. Two years later they return to headline our second indoor main stage on Sunday 30th August and inflict an even greater level of destruction than they were responsible for twenty four months previously.

Carl’s relationship with South West Four is well documented. An unbreakable bond has resulted in this being his seventh performance at SW4 in our twelve year history. On every appearance Coxy has displayed the kind of mind-blowing ability that has pushed the boundaries of DJing over the past thirty plus years and illustrated why he is considered amongst the very greats of electronic music. In 2015 Carl returns to Space Ibiza to host another season of his seminal residency, interwoven by headline appearances at the world’s leading clubs and festivals and the release of his hugely anticipated collaboration with Chic’s Nile Rogers. This unrivalled crossover formula is what has kept Carl at the forefront of all that is great about our scene over the past three decades. Be prepared to have your senses pulverised. Carl Cox vs Loco Dice is coming…

When one half of Innervision’s Âme says “Thanks to Mano Le Tough, I have no fears for the future of House” you sit up and take notice. Irish born and Berlin raised, Mano Le Tough has risen to international stardom in recent years thanks to a plethora of superb productions and remixes on only the most prestigious of labels, including his own Maeve Records. He has supported this with electric performances at the crème de le crème of festivals and clubs around the world including Berghain, BPM, Dekmantel, DC10, Space Ibiza and a recent London date for Electric Minds. It’s now the time for Mano to showcase his outstanding talents with a very special performance at SW4 and show why he is the future of house music.

Debuting their live show in a world exclusive at South West Four, the forces of Ejeca and Citizenn combine to bring you Mountain King Live. Expect melodic tribal rhythms and a mysterious, dark and empathetic sonic tapestry from two of the most exciting artists currently residing in UK house music. Having recently received critical acclaim for their ‘Acidboi’ EP on Ejeca’s Exploris imprint, including tune of the month in Mixmag, Mountain King could well be the most exciting new pairing to hit the UK dance market this festival season. "It's a huge honour to be debuting our live show at such a well curated and produced festival such as SW4. We've been excited about it for a while now so we're glad we can start talking about it." Mountain King

ADDED TO SW4 SATURDAY…

SVEN VÄTH · MACEO PLEX

TODD TERJE LIVE

DANNY DAZE

Pioneer. Visionary. Legend. Superlatives like these are easily banded around in dance music circles but when you are recognised as one of the most iconic figures within the industry, as well as one of the greatest DJs to ever walk the Earth, they are fully justified. Sven Väth comfortably falls within all of these categories. As label boss his Cocoon imprint has helped launch the careers of some of the finest names in techno, whilst his Ibiza residency is unquestionably one of the most influential the White Isle has ever witnessed. Having celebrated his 50th birthday last year, 2015 will see Papa Sven embark on his sixteenth Cocoon season at Amnesia, as well as the usual array of headline appearances at Timewarp, Awakenings, Cocoon in the Park and the IMS Grand Opening. His return to South West Four for the fourth time on Saturday 29th August will rank as his most memorable as he headlines Maceo Plex’s 7000 capacity ‘Dream Don’t Sleep’ arena.

There are very few artists residing within house and techno today as beloved as Maceo Plex. Recent years has seen him destroy the world’s most esteemed nightclubs and festivals, with his past two London appearances witnessing him host an arena at SW4 2014, followed by a masterclass performance at a sold out Electric Brixton this past Easter. This summer will see Maceo headline the opening of Amnesia Ibiza and feature heavily at Hideout in Croatia, the Slam Tent at T in the Park and Tomorrowland. Recognized as one of the most respected and accomplished artists of his generation, the Miami native returns to host his own ‘Dream, Don’t Sleep’ arena at SW4 one more time on Saturday 29th August.

An artist we have practically been stalking for half a decade finally arrives on Clapham Common this summer as Norwegian DJ, songwriter and record producer Todd Terje makes his long awaited SW4 debut. In 2013 Todd was responsible for what many considered the track of the year in ‘Inspector Norse’, whilst last year he followed this up with the release of his debut studio album suitably titled ‘Its Album Time.’ This would go on to top album of the year charts across the world and resulted in Rolling Stone Magazine featuring Todd in their ‘25 DJs that rule the earth' list. If you like your disco, Todd Terje Live at SW4 is the only place to be…

Hailing from Miami, Danny Daze has championed his sound in recent years after uniquely fusing elements of Detroit techno with Italian disco to make him one of the world’s most interesting underground talents. In 2014 Danny made his SW4 debut and he returns this summer having seen his profile grow ten-fold over recent months. With non-stop tours across the world and the release of productions on the finest imprints of today including Saved, Hot Creations, Dirtybird, Future Classic and long-term friend Maceo Plex’s Ellum, Danny’s technical prowess allows him to take musical risks. This makes him one of the most exciting acts to make the trip to South London on Saturday 29th August.

Eats Everything, Ben Pearce and more added to South West Four 2015 lineup

ADDED TO SW4 SATURDAY…

AMINE EDGE & DANCE · EATS EVERYTHING

THE MAGICIAN · MIND AGAINST

Hailing from Southern France, Amine Edge & Dance have taken the world by storm with their ground-breaking sound which incorporates early house, 80's hip-hop, breakbeats and everything in between. Titled ‘G-House’, this genre has found a home via their revolutionary label CUFF, to which they owe much of their astronomical success. With over twenty artists now signed to the label and a release rate of two EPs per month, the Marseille duo have been spearheading dance music’s latest movement which shows no sign of slowing down. After landing in Ibiza for the first time in 2013, their contagious sound quickly garnered a dedicated fanbase, leading to a weekly night last summer at underground hotspot Sankeys, to which thousands flocked. As big fans of their colossal uprising, we're delighted to welcome them to our outdoor main stage on Saturday 29th August for their hugely anticipated SW4 debut.

Since 2011, Bristolian Dan Pearce aka Eats Everything has been at the forefront of the UK house scene, pushing musical boundaries wherever he goes. Now in 2015, he is one of the most in-demand DJs on the planet. Last year saw Eats present an Edible stage at a UK festival for the first time, as he took control of his own 7000 capacity stage at SW4. With the arena proving such a booming success, we knew we had to get him back to the Common so he could bring it alive once again. With an unquestioned appetite for touring, Eats can be found chomping his way across globe with regular performances at the planet’s most famous clubs. This includes fabric, Panorama Bar, Amnesia and DC-10, as well as festivals such as Coachella, BPM, Tomorrowland, Mysteryland, Exit and Bestival. With his eight hour New Year's Day set at Electric Brixton still fresh in our minds, this will be your only opportunity to see Eats back in South West London this year…

Previously one half of revered Balearic disco duo Aeroplane, our next addition disembarked that flight and boarded his own magical carpet ride in 2010 when The Magician was born. Having just put Europe under his spell with a fifteen date 'Potion’ tour, South West Four is confirmed as the next London date for this hugely in-demand act. With a sound that floats effortlessly between disco, house, funk and soul and as highlighted in his championed 'Magic Tape' mix series, the Belgian-born DJ is one not miss this August.

Our next Saturday act is another we've had our ears on for some time, as we bring Italian-born, Berlin-based duo Mind Against to Clapham Common for their debut SW4 performance. Made up of brothers Allesandro and Federico Fognini, the house and techno purists have a natural connection which is demonstrated even further behind the decks. Signed to the underground powerhouse ‘Life & Death’ imprint, their organic sound has seen them put in standout sessions at Berghain, Watergate, fabric, D-Edge and Cocorico. Don't miss their exclusive appearance on Saturday 29th August.

ADDED TO SW4 SUNDAY…

DIXON · TALE OF US

JOSEPH CAPRIATI · BEN PEARCE

There are very few tastemakers in the world that can be considered in the same league as Berlin's Dixon. Founder of the seminal Innervisions imprint alongside Âme, we have been chasing this superb DJ for many years, however in 2015 we have finally got our man. Dixon’s packed diary represents a vast catalogue of the greatest parties the world has to offer, making his SW4 debut and only London festival performance of the year that extra bit special. 2014 witnessed Dixon enter at #1 in the Resident Advisor Top 100 DJs poll for the second consecutive year, whilst recent label takeovers at BPM and Panorama Bar and upcoming tours of Australia and USA have further reinforced his global dominance. Returning to London after a five month hiatus, we guarantee his first ever SW4 appearance will be worth the wait. London please rise, as we prepare for the arrival of one of the world’s most loved DJs.

Following an incredible performance at SW4 last year, Carmine Conte and Matteo Milleri aka Tale of Us are back for their exclusive London festival play. 2015 has seen the duo take a break from touring to concentrate on their studio output, which means the Life & Death specialists will come to SW4 refreshed and at the very top of their game. Last year Tale of Us played Time Warp (Mannheim, Buenos Aires and New York), Burning Man and Awakenings, as well as continue their relationship with ENTER.Ibiza and Circo Loco at DC-10. Their incredible remix of Caribou's 'I Can't Do Without You', alongside Mano Le Tough, proved to be one of the most popular records of the past twelve months and can be considered a taster of what to expect from their debut album, due for release later this year. Having fought off fierce competition for their services, we are delighted to welcome back one of our favourite acts to destroy SW4 once again.

Recognised as one of the most exciting DJs to emerge through the techno scene in recent years, Joseph Capriati's rise to prominence has been nothing short of relentless. The past twelve months have seen him heighten this further with dates at Amnesia (Ibiza), Berghain (Berlin), fabric (London), Space (Miami), Output (New York), Stereo (Monreal) and Cocorico (Italy). 2015 has seen him step into new territory with the launch of his '100% JC' concept, as well as make time for the studio. A key member of Adam Beyer's Drumcode stable and resident DJ for Marco Carola's Music On, Capriati's presence within the underground scene is as dominant as ever, making his South West Four debut one of the most anticipated this year. Returning to London for the first time since his marathon set at fabric in February, the arrival of the Italian titan is one we are extremely excited about. Don't miss it.

Ever since he emerged to win 'Best Breakthough Producer' at the 2013 DJ Mag 'Best of British' Awards, UK producer Ben Pearce has been on our most wanted list. Two years on and we are pleased to bring him to the festival for the very first time. Last year witnessed the Purp & Soul front man take things to the next level with dates in Ibiza for Together, We Love…, Defected and ANTS, in addition to festival appearances at Hideout, Reading & Leeds and Global Gathering amongst others. Furthermore the launch of his Sextape series, a concept focusing on funk, soul and disco and his new monthly radio show on Rinse FM, illustrates that 2015 will be his best year to date.
