Head to www.hideandseekfestival.co.uk for tickets and event information, with payment plans starting at just £15, helping partygoers to spread the cost over the coming months.

In two much talked about editions to date, Hide&Seek has made an immediate impact on the underground festival circuit and quickly became synonymous with authentic electronic sounds from the worlds of house, techno, disco and minimal. Last year’s show was so widely loved that organisers were left with no other choice than to expand the offer to a two-day format and to create space for extended set times and a growing list of talent. Importantly, the focus remains firmly on careful curation and coherent programming to maintain Hide&Seek’s well-deserved reputation as a festival by and for serious music lovers.

This year’s concept is Electric Dreams, where freedom and escapism in music means that anything is possible. A sure-fire trip to the ethereal!

On board for the ride are a host of cutting-edge party partners and rising talents from Manchester brands like You&Me, Animal Crossing, Surco, Arcadia, Tranquil and God Made Me Funky – to Paris’s Automatic Writing; Liverpool’s MODU:LAR and Zuku; London’s Bizarre Trax, Beeyou and Appetite; SetOneTwenty and Magnetic from Leeds; and Real Gang from Ibiza.

Nestled in a jaw dropping location in picture perfect British countryside, the venerated site is surrounded by luscious woodland, three lakes, and lanscaped gardens. The grounds of Capesthorne Hall will once again be transformed into an adult wonderland with crystal clear sound and immersive production.

The line-up this year exudes the good taste that Hide & Seek is known for with special back-to-back sets also planned. There are festival newcomers like Perlon boss and cult selector Zip, Scandi-disco king Todd Terje and Berlin-based diggers Gene on Earth b2b The Ghost next to breakout Dutchman Chris Stussy. Revellers will ride the spaced out breaks and techno of top selectors Binh b2b DJ Masda. House, funk and soul specialist Jamie 3:26 also joins the bill, with the dancefloor pumping duo Dungeon Meat, plus Japanese pioneer Fumiya Tanaka alongside world class minimal from Romanians Priku and Raresh b2b Arapu.

Festival co-founder Josh Baker said, “As we enter year 3, we couldn’t be more excited to showcase what’s in store. We are taking huge steps to continue to both entertain and educate the dance floor. We have spent endless hours considering the programme to offer an optimal experience over two days which allows ravers to discover new names whilst being blown away by legends of the scene. For 2022, our mission is to offer an experience you never knew you needed. Electric Dreams.”

Fellow co-founder Kurt Hurst added, “The development from our first edition in 2019 to the 2021 festival was clearly a huge step up, and as per our marketing and messaging this was always part of the vision. However there is still further room for growth and this will be evident on arrival to Capesthorne Hall on September 3rd/4th. After 2021 we received such incredibly overwhelming feedback in regards to stage concepts, entertainment, audio & production, but we can assure that all of these elements will continue to evolve and allow us to deliver an even better ‘dreamlike’ experience.”

Hide & Seek 2022 is set to offer a heady musical experience like few others in the UK. Make sure you’re a part of this little piece of underground history.

From the people behind Warwick and Leamington’s most popular and acclaimed underground party, Access the Festival is about good times, good people and good energy. It is an essential event to kick start the festival season in an exceptionally beautiful spot with space to roam, the freedom to turn it up loud and the chance to make some magical summer memories. After a hugely impressive debut in 2021, now comes round two, which promises to build on that success.

Sherbourne Park is an exquisite green clearing amongst towering trees and with a historic Georgian mansion and picturesque church as the backdrop. It comes alive with an impressive main stage, world class sound and carefully designed production to make for an unmissable weekend getaway in the heart of the countryside.

The line-up this year is second to none and brings in a wealth of international talent with new partners such as London based Disco Disco and the revered Houseum label, whose stage will be recorded and streamed on YouTube. Next to the music, there will be a vibrant mix of contemporary art, colourful leisure activities and adrenaline pumping fairground rides as well as plenty of extra surprises to make the experience all the more unforgettable. Keeping you fuelled across both days will be an award winning selection of street food – think handmade pizza, giant burgers, tasty world foods – and mouth watering drinks to tickle all taste buds. There is no parking at the festival site so you are encouraged to take advantage of all-day return bus trips from Leamington Spa and Warwick University campus, which are both just 15 minutes away.

Access was born in 2016 when a group of friends set out to reflect the sound of various UK cities in carefully curated club nights. They saw quick success with thoughtful line-ups and immersive production, and as well as selling out every local event for the past three years, they have also made a mark in London and internationally in France and Hong Kong. Last year came the debut festival and it set a new benchmark for the region with standout sets for some of the underground’s finest names.

Say event directors Will Darley and Alex Neidhardt, “2022 is going to be the year where Access the Festival truly takes off! We’re channelling all the energy spent getting 21 off the ground in COVID times into upgrading every area. I’m particularly excited about the new Groove Garden stage, it’s going to have the same unique wow factor as the Daylight Disco stage. Especially with the DJs playing in there it’s going to be a vibe.”

Access the Festival 22 is once again set to bring something utterly new and fresh to the region and tickets will sell out, so do not miss your chance to be part of this escapist musical weekend.

BLOODSTOCK ANNOUNCES FINAL BATCH OF SOPHIE LANCASTER STAGE BANDS

Over halfway there! With just 168 days to go before the marauding metal hordes charge through the gates of Catton Park, BLOODSTOCK has its last batch of Sophie Lancaster Stage bands to announce. It’s also ‘Last Call’ time for the Deposit Scheme, where you can pay over 6 smaller instalments (full details below). Artists for the Jagermeister and New Blood stages and other fest entertainment details are yet to come, but in the meantime, wrap your eyes and ears around the following…

Once you’ve set up your tent and had your first beer, Thursday’s Sophie tent proceedings open with the unmissable, incendiary noises of Bristol blues-punk four piece, MOTHER VULTURE. Check out their high octane video of ‘The Wave’ for a taster of what’s in store!

Also snagging a Thursday slot are BASEMENT TORTURE KILLINGS who’ll bring their serial killer grindcore to your Thursday evening. If you’re not familiar with their sound, watch the clip for ‘Armchair Psycho Or Pure Predator?’.

Friday’s Sophie opener is deathgrind squad CREPITATION. If you’re heading to the Liverpool Napalm Death/Raging Speedhorn show in March, you’ll catch them opening the show. If you can’t make it, you can still witness their sonic chaos via this live footage from Foothills Gutfest a couple of years back.

If hardcore is more your vibe, you won’t want to miss London bruisers INHUMAN NATURE, also playing the Sophie stage on Friday. You can warm up extra early if you’re attending Cro-Mags’ London gig in June, for they’re first onstage that night. If not, check out the title track from their recently released ‘Under The Boot’ EP, out now on Church Road Records.

Saturday’s Sophie fun brings a pummelling from Hull crew MASTIFF. US magazine Decibel described them as “a rousing blend of savage power that’s as ready for the mosh pit as it is for your next clandestine ritual in the woods.” See for yourself via the video for ‘Endless’ from their crushing album, ‘Leave Me The Ashes Of The Earth’.

Joining the Sophie Lancaster Stage shenanigans on Sunday, are Coventry three-piece and M2TM alumni PELUGION, levelling up from their 2018 New Blood stage slot. Inviting fans of Black Sabbath & Black Label Society especially, investigate their single ‘Bane Of Humanity’, while you wait.

BLOODSTOCK’s Metal 2 The Masses, the initiative that supports all genres of grass roots metal and offers a chance to play BOA’s New Blood stage, is proud to announce a partnership with Eyesore Merch in 2022. The programme provides up and coming bands with an awesome opportunity to be seen and heard by a wide audience and part of the music industry normally out of reach for bands at that level. In partnering with Metal 2 The Masses, Eyesore Merch wants to add to that opportunity by offering 3 winning bands from the 26 regional heats, a chance to get their merchandise showcased to an audience of potential new fans. Those 3 winners will see their merchandise featured and available to purchase on www.eyesoremerch.com, have their gear included on Eyesore Merch’s mailout direct to customers and featured on the Eyesore Merch socials, which directly targets a metric tonne of metal lovers who love buying ‘hard to find’ band merch.

If you’ve got your ticket bagged, are you already thinking about how best to get to BLOODSTOCKBLOODSTOCK is pleased to support two sustainable travel options – Big Green Coach (who’ll drop you and your gear right inside the festival gates for minimal walking, from 33 locations around the UK & you can secure your seat for just a tenner) and Liftshare (a safe way to offer up a spare spot in your car, or nab one in someone else’s & perhaps make new friends to boot). Get more info on both over at BIG GREEN COACH and LIFTSHARE

Want something to get you all fired up for this summer’s event, or maybe you’re curious about BLOODSTOCK having never been before? If so, check out the brand new festival trailer for the lowdown.

Lastly, it’s final call for BLOODSTOCK’s phenomenally popular weekend ticket Deposit Scheme. Sign up here before 11.59pm this Saturday night, 26th Feb, if you want to take advantage. This year, payments are spread across 6 months instead of 5, making it even more manageable to secure your place and pay for your ticket in instalments. An initial payment of £31.20 is due upon sign up, then five additional payments of £24.16 will debit your bank account on 25 Mar, 29 Apr, 27 May, 24 Jun, with a final instalment on 29 Jul, which will include any applicable admin/booking fees. Tickets will be delivered digitally.

All VIP packages, Early Bird tix, and campervan passes have sold out. You can still snap up standard weekend camping tickets (just £145 +fees for 4 days of heavy metal fun) plus day & child tix are available now at the ticket store. Mini moshers under age 4 get in free!

BLOODSTOCK’s 2022 Ronnie James Dio main stage headliners are BEHEMOTH, LAMB OF GOD, and MERCYFUL FATE. Also appearing across the weekend are KILLING JOKE, DIMMU BORGIR, TESTAMENT, EXODUS, AVATAR, ALL HAIL THE YETI, BLACK DAHLIA MURDER, GWAR (in a UK festival exclusive), BURY TOMORROW, SACRED REICH, LIFE OF AGONY, SPIRITWORLD, BELPHEGOR, BUTCHER BABIES, VIO-LENCE, BLOODYWOOD, JINJER, LORNA SHORE, DOYLE, LOST SOCIETY, HATEBREED, SLEEP TOKEN, DARK FUNERAL, EYEHATEGOD, DISCHARGE, STATIC-X, THE NIGHT FLIGHT ORCHESTRA, ENFORCED, PARTY CANNON, SOEN, HERIOT, BLOOD YOUTH, BLACK TONGUE, HEART OF A COWARD, FEROCIOUS DOG, HEATHEN, NEKROGOBLIKON, CATTLE DECAPITATION, ORBIT CULTURE, TALLAH, SAMAEL, CYHRA, NOCTEM, NANOWAR OF STEEL, THROWN INTO EXILE, PUPIL SLICER, CAGE FIGHT, VENDED, ILL NINO, SKARLETT RIOT, DESERT STORM, SORCERER, RED METHOD, and BAEST as well as many more yet to come. Located just a five minute walk from Beckenham Hill train and bus stations, Hospitality Weekend In The Woods is an easily accessible escape from everyday life. It plunges you deep into 98 acres of green and natural fields with lakes, woodland and the beautiful Palladian-style mansion all foreign an epic backdrop to two days of world class music.

Thousands of drum and bass fans attend this always sold out event and never fail to be in awe of the unique stage designs, the next level audio visual production, high spec sound and array of the tastiest street food South London has to offer. This year will be bigger than ever with wall-to-wall bangers, atmospheric woodland stages and never before seen back-to-backs.

Stage hosts include Fabric’s legendary Friday night London party Fabriclive as well as critically acclaimed drum & bass don Calibre and of course Hospitality themselves. But also joining are Undivide, who bring sounds from the heavier end of the spectrum, Spearhead – the UK D&B label founded in January 2005 by Steve Jeffery AKA BCee, and Rupture, which began as a club night in 2006 to showcase the jungle and breaks side of the spectrum. Known for pushing experimental, cutting edge production alongside classic jungle anthems, the party evolved into a label in 2012 and remains a vital underground voice.

Then comes Born on Road vs Run In the Jungle. Born on Road is a Bristol-based record label and DJ collective firmly rooted at the heart of drum and bass and jungle but with an eclectic sound. Friction’s Shogun Audio needs little introduction given that it is responsible for breaking many of today’s drum & bass stars and released some of the genre’s biggest anthems.

Last of all is Soulvent Records vs Flexout Audio. The former has always championed new talent and related music from across the whole spectrum and the latter is the London based imprint from drum and bass visionary Tom Bassi that has launched many careers while soundtracking global dance floors with its killer output.

In all there will be more than100 of the most acclaimed names for the drum & bass world playing across the seven stages over two days. As such, there will be something for everyone and a chance to curate your own unique weekend soundtrack. But some of the many standouts include an exclusive, one-off London show from Fabio & Grooverider and The Outlook Orchestra which will find the legendary DJs perform a set of stone cold drum & bass classics with the revered 40-piece orchestra.

Elsewhere, High Contrast will look back on a hugely successful 20 year career with a special anniversary set, Dillinja will put the sound system through its paces with his famously heavy low ends and DnB pioneer DJ Storm is also set to make a headline set like no other.

She will be joined by the master of smooth, deep liquid rhythms that is Calibre, the always energetic Camo & Krooked, some kinetic steps from the one and only DJ Hype and more golden rhythms from Brazilian hero DJ Marky. For some cross-sectional sounds including garage and grime look no further than Flava D, while My Nu Leng will be playing a special all D&B set.

As if that wasn’t enough, pioneers of the game like Roni Size, General Levy, Kings Of The Rollers & Inja play, and just about every other conceivable sub-genre will be served up by the 50 acts lined up.

After 18 years in the game, there is no other brand as deeply immersed in drum & bass as Hospitality. That means this annual weekender is unlike any other experience in the country.

DOWNLOAD FESTIVAL IS BACK WITH PACKED LINE UP FOR 2022

Download Festival, the world’s premier rock event, is coming back with a bang in 2022. The first major festival of the summer will be headlined by the mighty KISS, Iron Maiden and Biffy Clyro, with other huge acts on the bill including A Day To Remember, Deftones, KORN, The Distillers, Funeral For A Friend and many more. As the first full-capacity Download Festival since 2019 and following last year’s phenomenal Download Pilot, which paved the way for the return of live events, it’s pulling out all the stops for 2022 with a gargantuan line-up of the world’s most exciting bands in rock, pop punk, hardcore, metal and much more.

Announced today are 14 new acts joining the packed bill, including the likes of Skindred, YONAKA, Will Haven, Kid Brunswick, Bimini and Dana Dentata. The three-day festival takes place on 10-12 June 2022 at the spiritual home of rock in Donington Park, LeicestershireTickets are now on sale via www.downloadfestival.co.uk/tickets.

Iron Maiden, hailed as one of the greatest live acts of all time, will return to Donington to headline Download Festival on Saturday night, in what will be one of only two UK festival shows in 2022, while the legendary KISS will storm the stage on Friday night to perform their only UK show of the summer. After their fantastic headline set in 2017, Scottish rock titans Biffy Clyro will also be making their highly anticipated return to headline the festival on Sunday night, showing off tracks from ‘A Celebration of Ending’, which topped the UK charts in 2020, and their most recent studio album, the critically acclaimed ‘The Myth of Happily Ever After’.

Joining the already confirmed likes of The Distillers, The Pretty Reckless, Ayron Jones, Lacuna Coil, Loathe, Malevolence, Normandie, Static Dress and more, it is announced today that Download live favourites Skindred will be back to tear things up after an epic performance at the Download Pilot in 2021, having been described by many as their highlight of the entire weekend. The Welsh reggae metal band will be bringing back their iconic ‘Newport Helicopter’ and are guaranteed to have the crowd going wild once more.

Skindred frontman Benji Webbe says: “Playing the Download pilot after being locked down for a year and a half was an amazing experience so being invited back to our favourite festival and spiritual home to play alongside the likes of KISS and Maiden is a dream come true. Plus we have some amazing rockin’ new tunes which we cannot wait for you all to hear.”

Brighton rock band YONAKA also made a splash at last year’s Download Pilot, and that was just the beginning, as they’ll be causing chaos once again this year. Frontwoman Theresa Jarvis says, “Aghhhh Download! Some of us have been going since we were 14 so it’s an absolute pleasure to be performing there again. The energy is always amazing and such an exciting lineup of music.”

Drag sensation Bimini rose to fame on Ru Paul’s Drag Race and released their punk non-binary anthem God Save This Queen last year. That was only the first step on their musical journey, because Bimini will be gracing the crowds of Download with their presence in 2022 for the very first time.

Also added to the bill are Canadian rap-rock-horrorcore artist Dana Dentata, self-described grunge lord Kid Brunswick, industrial rock band SKYND, Oregon stoner rock band Red Fang, legendary Californian noise metallers Will Haven, Swedish melodic death metal band Orbit Culture, Australian five-piece Banks Arcade, Colorado retro revisionists The Velveteers, UK heavy music newcomers Heriot, LA rockers Dirty Honey and Scottish swashbucklers Alestorm.

Highlights across the weekend include the previously announced Spiritbox, one of the hottest bands in the world at the moment, who have been upgraded to the Avalanche Stage due to huge demand. Post-hardcore break-out stars As Everything Unfolds have also upgraded and are now set to bring their invigorating take on the genre to the Avalanche stage on Friday 10 June.

Moovin Festival is a laid back way to catch an eclectic mix of favourite acts as well as exciting new artists and so much more.

The eco-friendly Whitebottom Farm, a beautiful, secluded spot in the heart of Etherow Country Park, just 30 minutes from central Manchester, is transformed into a wonderland for fun and frolics, amongst enchanting trees, surrounded by the most picturesque charms of nature including lakes, rivers and a spectacular gorge. Whilst the line ups are big the capacity is limited to keep the friendly, intimate (adult only) family vibe which has helped to make this boutique festival so special.

Stages include “The Barn” , a large converted cow shed with a huge bar for speedy service at reasonable prices, plenty of space to dance and hay bale seating to kick back on, makes it a unique Festival setting. Headlining this stage are legendary dance pioneers Orbital whose incredible live show features LED screens and transportive imagery matched with their otherworldly acid house sound will be an experience not to be missed. You can catch a mix of everything in The Barn  groovy Funk and Soul from Roy Ayers, Dancehall vibes from Sister Nancy, and The Magnificent DJ Jazzy Jeff who is sure to “moo”ve the crowd with his flawless turntable skills and musical versatility. Terminal V Announces New Stages, Splits, Weekend Residents and More

Date: 16th & 17th April, 2022
Location: Royal Highlands Centre, Edinburgh
Tickets: https://terminalv.co.uk

It has been two and a half years in the making but now the final countdown is on to the massively anticipated return of Terminal V Festival. On 16th and 17th April, Edinburgh’s Royal Highland Centre.

More than 80 international acts will imprint their musical mark on Terminal V over 22 hours, with 6 exclusive back-to-back sets, 6 live sets and a handful of weekend residents playing twice across both days.

It will be arguably the biggest event of it’s kind in the UK as an indoor music festival, yet slightly hybrid with the addition for Easter 2022 of a new outdoor area. The site will be transformed like never before with 5 main indoor stages running across all of the huge interconnected halls of the venue as well as the new large additional outside area surrounding the halls with 2 further enclosed stages and more attractions.

Now more exciting details can be revealed with which artist plays which stage over the weekend.

Three of the most iconic stages are back by popular demand; AREA V, THE TERMINAL and THE GREEN HOUSEmake their return having all been newly designed and upgraded. Area V promises an all encompassing, state of the art arena festival experience, with space for 6,000 on it’s dancefloor while The Terminal guarantees the same mind-blowing levels of production but with a contrasting stage design to Area V. The Green House shakes this up, bringing a lighter vibe to the festival and playing host to the housier acts to grace the festival on the weekend.

3 brand new stages will feature over the weekend HANGAR, THE BLACKBOX, CARGO. HANGAR brings another large main arena stage with an exciting, most unique mind blowing creative design, while the newly founded BLACKBOX stage incorporates a low ceiling and atmospheric minimal lighting to create an intimate atmosphere; pulling you away from the big room festival feel. The third new arrival, CARGO, will see festival-goers encapsulated in an enveloping stage, and brought to life by an array of immersive lighting from all angles.

April will also see the return of their THE PALMS TENT, a 7th stage curated alongside Edinburgh’s Paradise Palms record label especially focused on local talent.

Special back to backs take place on Saturday featuring Marcel Dettmann b2b Stingray 313 on Area V, Alan Fitzpatrcik b2b Rebuke on The Terminal and Ben UFO b2b Helena Hauff and Octo Octa b2b Eris Drew on Cargo, and on Sunday on Cargo, Steffi and Virginia.

Saturday will see the 6000 capacity Area V stage headlined by the likes of Amelie Lens, Sven Vath, Dax J and Helena Hauff, 3500 people will go wild on The Terminal stage to Alan Fitzpatrick, Joyhauser, Deborah de Luca and T78, while the more intimate Cargo welcomes Haai, Dr Rubinstein, and Shanti Celeste. The Hangar will bounce to the sounds of Kobosil, VTSS and more, The Green House brings Floorplan, Ewan McVicar, Kornél Kovács, Mike Servito and Luke Solomon and Blackbox is all about Hector Oaks, Frazier, Regal, Alignment and more.

On the Sunday, Area V finds Nina Kraviz return with FJAAK, Fraz.ier, Kobosil and Paula Temple, The Terminal is will see Green Velvet, Eats Everything, Solardo, Rebuke, Eli Brown and Jamie Roy lay it down, while Cargo hosts Male Grab, Special Request, Young Marco and Effy. The scene is set after over 2 years of planning for 40,000 people to descend upon the Scottish capital from all over europe. Ticket holders’ anticipation and excitement is sure to be high for Terminal V’s most ambitious event. Do not miss it.
