AJ Tracey Announced as Special Guest for Project 6 Festival

BST Hyde Park announces: SZA

American Express presents BST Hyde Park is excited to announce that the phenomenal, groundbreaking, genre-bending artist SZA will headline on Saturday 29 June, the first Saturday of BST Hyde Park’s three weekends. A distinct force in contemporary R&B, SZA has set herself apart with a vulnerable and casually poetic songwriting style and a voice conveying a multitude of emotions with subtle twists and turns. She established herself with a trio of spaced-out EPs and collaborations with the likes of Kendrick Lamar, Nicki Minaj, and Rihanna, and continued her ascent with Ctrl (2017), a Top Ten album that resulted in five Grammy nominations, including Best New Artist. These accolades proved to be no fluke, as SZA earned almost as many Grammy nominations the next year by assisting Kendrick Lamar with ‘All the Stars’, a Top Ten hit, only one in a slew of platinum singles she has scored as a headliner or featured artist. He’s equally known for collaborations with artists such as Kendrick Lamar, Stormzy, Drake, Solange, Frank Ocean, and Alicia Keys.

Iranian Swedish-born singer Snoh Aalegra, celebrated for her soulful sound influenced by icons like Stevie Wonder and Whitney Houston, has garnered multiple GRAMMY nominations. Mentored by Prince for two years, she has collaborated with music heavyweights like Drake and Common. Her album – Ugh, those feels again debuted as the #1 R&B album on iTunes, earning critical acclaim for exploring themes of self-love, independence, and hopefulness.

BST Hyde Park announces: Kings of Leon

Kings of Leon have also just announced their brand new album, Can We Please Have Fun, their 9th studio record. The album, as its title suggests, is a document of one of this era’s great rock and roll bands cutting loose, trying new things, and yes, having some fun. Recorded at Dark Horse studio and produced with new collaborator Kid Harpoon (Harry Styles, Florence + the Machine), the album sees the band hark back to their gritty origins, while simultaneously finding new gears.

About playing at BST Hyde Park, Kings of Leon say: “We can’t wait to get back to London and play at BST this summer. It is always a blast to play in the UK and we are ready to have some fun.”

The group, made of brothers Caleb, Nathan and Jared Followill, and their cousin Matthew Followill, first shot to success here in the UK. The Sea You Festival is one of the most popular electronic music festivals in Germany. Water sports and other activities in and on the lake ensure the “Beach Republic” offers an ultimate summer feeling. Fans and artists go on their pilgrimage to celebrate together over bathing, dancing and laughing and with a world-class soundtrack for an unforgettable weekend together under the sun.

The festival has three campsites and offers top international acts and the hottest DJs in the scene with over 150 acts in all across seven stages. After a much talked about return last year, one of Germany’s most prestigious open-air techno festivals Love Family Park is back once again at the stunning Rebstockpark in Frankfurt am Main, Germany. This year the 25th edition extends to two days and plays out on the weekend of August 3 and 4 2024 with two stages on each day. The first phase of headliners include on Day One Adam Beyer, Charlie Sparks, Loco Dice, Patrick Mason, Sven Väth and more and on Day Two 999999999, Alignment, Indira Paganotto, Mind Against, Miss Monique, PAN-POT b2b Sama’ Abdulhadi, Reinier Zonneveld live, Trym and more.

Since 1996, the LFP has been an integral part of the electronic music scene and a cultural institution in the Rhine-Main area. This year it makes its epic 25th edition as it remains a highlight for music lovers with a program that is celebrated for its mix of quality, tradition, and diversity with a lineup that reflects all the colours of the modern spectrum. The venue for all this is the Rebstockpark Frankfurt, a lush and open green space with the city’s skyline off in the distance that is very well connected to local motorways, public transport and the international airport in Frankfurt.

Last year’s first event in four years successfully took place without noise complaints and in harmony with environmental protections. The organiser reduced the capacity to 10,000 guests on two floors for the pilot project and because it went so well with great feedback from all, this year it doubles in size with 20, 000 people welcomed to the same areas as in 2023 but across two days. This minimises environmental impact and means that getting in and out remains hassle free for festival attendees.

LFP now has a long-term home that enables it to offer more cats than ever with the new two day concept on two bespoke stages with high class sound systems and cutting edge production. Once again the soundtrack comes from the cutting edge with Drumcode boss Adam Beyer, dark techno master Charlie Sparks, the chunky rolling sounds of German titan Loco Dice, brilliance from Patrick Mason, colourful sounds from the Cocoon hero Sven Väth, blistering grooves from 999999999, Alignment, and breakout Spanish star Indira Paganotto, melodic explorations from Italian pair Mind Against and Ukranie’s prog innovator Miss Monique, plus a special coming together of PAN-POT b2b Sama’ Abdulhadi, fierce acid techno from Reinier Zonneveld live and much more to come.
