Do Not Sleep is the world renowned house party that has once again shaken up Ibiza this summer with wild hedonistic parties at Amnesia and Cova Santa. It rolls into town with its all new type of energy on Thursday, December 01 with tech house titan Andrea Oliva joined by Drumcode’s big room techno talent Ida Engberg, and more across the underground spectrum from Yulia Niko, Freak the Disco and Ky William & a special guest DJ TBA.
Friday, December 2nd then sees one of the global house scene’s most influential contemporary DJs and producers arrive: Sonny Fodera has put out countless chart topping hits, from vocal anthems to deep rollers, always with his stylish signature grooves. Also playing this one will be Biscits and more to be announced.
Then, on Saturday, December 3rd local legend Oscar G is bringing his Made in Miami party. It’s a much loved event with a sultry soundtrack, tribal percussion and plenty of spiritual synths and vocals. As well as the main man himself, the hugely influential producer, songwriter, DJ and remixer Jellybean Benitez lines up with Cocodrills, Lazaro Casanova and Jesse Perez completing the line-up.
These final three events come on top of cult house brand Desert Hearts with host Mikey Lion, Lee Reynolds, Marbs and Porky on Wednesday, November 30th, and an already much talked about back to back between two legends when Sasha and Danny Tenaglia face off on Sunday, December 4th with new addition and American underground mainstay DJ Three also bringing his eclectic mix of house, acid and techno.

We Belong Here announce Kaskade and Lane8 as the first names on their huge 2023 return to Miami

We Belong Here is an all new kind of boutique festival. We Belong Here does things differently. It is an intimate and luxurious experience for those who like personal connections and appreciate the finer details in life. This idyllic gathering plays out on the scenic and historic beaches of Virginia Key Beach Park, which dates back to 1896 and the formation of the state of Miami itself. He has showcased similar sounds on a series of Redux EPs and though he still knows how to craft chart-topping magic, he also excels when embracing this side of his musical character.
Lane 8 meanwhile will play a sure-to-be stunning 3-hour sunset set. That time of day perfectly suits his melodic house style which is steeped in bittersweet beauty. The American artist has been perfecting this signature sound for years, and now predominantly releases on his own This Never Happened label. His fourth album Reviver was another big hit back in January of this year, so expect to hear some from it at this extended set.

First up We Are the Brave label head Alan Fitzpatrick pairs off with the mighty Reset Robot for Acid Texture which is all banging drums and synths fired out of a machine gun. The percussion is supersized and the lashings of acid will rip up any dance floor. Reinier Zonneveld then steps up with Reset Robot for Desolate, which is built on powerful and dusty breakbeats as edgy synth stabs rise up through the mix, and the drums then get hard edge and marching. It’s a powerful track of unsettling techno futurism. Alan Fitzpatrick and Reset Robot then join up for final cut Caterpillarwhich is built on a wonky and meandering acid line, with chattery percussion and manic acid, flashes of strobe, and plenty of manic techno intensity.

The three much anticipated parties will be headlined by the likes of dance legends The Chemical Brothers, US superstar Diplo, the electrifying Major League, internationally acclaimed Ukrainian duo ARTBAT alongside UK house sensations CAMELPHAT, Italian melodic maestros Mathame, plus many more.

Musically this first party is an unmissable one. It sees an exclusive DJ set from the legendary Chemical Brothers. They are award-winning, chart topping, game-changing pioneers in both the studio and the club and they bring with them the most explosive and electrifying mix of sounds imaginable as they take you on a journey through dance music of all sounds, shades and styles. Further techno comes from Brina Knauss and Oostil to make this a supersized celebration.

On December 2nd, the one and only dance music innovator Diplo headlines. He has done it all from club smashes to chart topping pop hits and all with his own unique personality. South African amapiano duo Major League bring their fresh sounds and Snakehips, American Dance Ghosts and a very special secret guest complete the party.

Finally, December 3rd is an epic closing with Ukrainian duo and UPPERGROUND label bosses ARTBAT bringing their always emotive mix of house and techno, Grammy-nominated house pioneers CAMELPHAT laying down the grooves, innovative and moving techno songwriters Mathame, plus Jonas Saalbach and Miami-based Eran Hersh all playing.

Brazil’s techno star Anna plays on Thursday November 24th, Italian Music On boss Marco Carola is the guest on the 25th and the melodic electronic innovators WhoMadeWho play on the 26th.
Soho Garden Palm Jumeirah is a completely new venue, on top of the Nakheel Mall, located on the Palm Jumeirah. It is a vast and lively party space for epic events with a stunning, upper-level outdoor terrace. It is surrounded by lush greenery and invites you into a world of lush, dazzling cityscapes with immersive club events each weekend. In the coming weeks, dance music pioneers Groove Armada play Palm on November 12th, the night after is WRHSE and a live show from Shkoon, then chart topping multi-genre specialists Rudimental serve up a DJ set on the 18th and Dom Dolla brings on November 25th and Paradise founder and Hot Creations label head Jamie Jones is on town on November 26th with more to be announced soon.

Judge Jules brings his “Judge Jules Goes Large” party to the Albert Hall

Judge Jules is the mastermind behind the ultra-successful Kevin & Perry film soundtrack and album. He curated the movie’s soundtrack and wrote the movie’s iconic theme song “All I Wanna Do Is Do It” with Harry Enfield. Yes, Jules is synonymous with Kevin & Perry, and “Judge Jules Goes Large” is his own event interpretation, paying homage to the movie. Musically, as with Jules’s work on the Soundtrack, “Goes Large” is not genre specific – more a mixed bag of timeless iconic anthems.  This event is a true representation of Judge Jules at his very best, giving a nod to one of the most memorable films representing club culture. A timeless movie that helped mould and shape the scene we love and enjoy today.
