From its home at Studio 338, Release has quickly become one of the UK’s most fresh and forward-thinking parties. Reinier Zonneveld Drops the First Single ‘Music Is The Answer’ from his Upcoming LP

Techno legend Reinier Zonneveld will release his newest full – length artist album this year, with new single ‘Music Is The Answer’ — to be released on June 9 on Filth On Acid — the first taste of the top – selling techno royalty’s hotly – anticipated album.
The fourth in a constant stream of genre defining full length releases, Reinier Zonneveld looks to once again hit new heights and push the boundaries of his ever evolving sound with his latest productions. Having been a mainstay in Reinier’s live sets for two years now, ‘Music is the Answer’ has rattled the walls at Reinier Zonneveld’s sold out show at the Ziggo Dome, as well as at Awakenings, Tomorrowland, Amnesia Ibiza, EDC Las Vegas, BAUM Colombia, Timewarp, and elrow, to name a few.
‘Music Is The Answer’ is a thunderous slice of vocal techno channeling timeless ‘90s – leaning sounds but with a fresh new perspective. Throbbing off – beat bass underpins the thumping drums, while distorted acid grunts contrast sharply with the sweet vocal delivery. A slow – building breakdown channels classic trance as the vocal teases towards the chorus, exploding in thumping but understated fashion. Haunting pads float above the 303s, with a sparse arrangement allowing the vocal to really shine.
Fans will be delighted to hear news of the new album — Reinier Zonneveld’s first since 2019. Reinier Zonneveld comments:
“In this new album, I feel like there’s more consistency to the music – it’s all techno, but I’m exploring techno in a broader sense. There is diversity to the tracks, but they are all within the techno spectrum. I’d say this album is my biggest development as an artist, as the selection of music feels really cohesive.”
The album was designed to be suitable for home or club play, with a lot of attention to detail to ensure that it fits in any environment. It’s all high – impact stuff but “there’s enough musical content to keep you entertained when you listen at home. It’s like a blend of melodic music but then in a very high energetic form. So it’s really techno, but still with a lot of energy. I think the themes, production and the sound design are a big step up from my previous work and I am really happy with how my exploration of conveying emotional communication through the means of dancefloor – suitable techno worked out.”
From composing his first classical musical piece at a young age to building a cult following for his intricate live performances, Reinier Zonneveld is one of the most exalted talents in today’s techno scene. He is widely praised for his outstanding technical ability with samplers and analog synths, conducting technical live sets. 2023 is due to be a landmark year for Reinier Zonneveld, on top of the new album this summer, he has an eventful festival season ahead playing at the world’s most prestigious stages, such as Tomorrowland, Awakenings, and Parookaville, in addition to throwing the first edition of his own festival, Karren Maar in the Netherlands on August 5, where he will be attempting to break a world record for the longest live electronic music performance.

Indo Warehouse Announces Brooklyn Mirage Showcase and Unveils North America Tour

Indo Warehouse selling out showcases in LA and at New York’s Festival Of Love, the ethnic and world music experience is heading out on a tour of North America. Starting in Montreal Bazart on July 7th, the tour heads to DC, Portland, San Fran, Brooklyn, Seattle, and Vancouver.

Indo Warehouse has introduced its unique world and ethnic sound and experience to the world this year with its first event of the year at Avant Gardner’s Great Hall. It is now a revered label and party collective with artists such as funder Kahani, plus resident Kunal Merchant, Payal Jay, and AREUBLUE offering up cultured sounds and intimate party experiences that weave together South Asian-inspired artifacts, textures, and culture with hypnotic, emotive, and percussive grooves.

The Festival of Love celebrated the arrival of spring and was the first Indo Warehouse celebration of 2023 and now the underground party heads out on tour.

The standout date of the tour will be the showcase at the Brooklyn Mirage on August 6th. It is a one-of-a-kind venue with a state-of-the-art KV2 sound system, a 200-foot video wall, mesmerizing laser displays, and pyrotechnic capabilities that become an immerse South-Asian-inspired world when Indo Warehouse rolls in.

Before that in July, the tour heads to Bazart in Montreal, Culture in Washington DC, 45 East in Portland, and Audio in San Francisco. After the show at the Brooklyn Mirage, it is TBC on August 12th, Ora in Seattle on August 25th, and Village Studios in Vancouver on August 26th.

Bedouin Release Long-Awaited Debut Album: Temple of Dreams

A Transcendent Listening Experience, Seven Years in the Making 
 
New York, NY (May 19, 2023) – From a sleepless night in Ibiza to the uncertainty of protest and  lockdown in New York City, Bedouin embarked upon a seven year journey to complete their experiential, hypnotic debut album: Temple of Dreams (Human By Default). Through 15 tracks, 14 full songs, and one interlude – recorded on the L train – Bedouin (Tamer Malki and Rami Abousabe) have created a deep listening experience showcasing their talents as songwriters, lyricists and musicians. 
 
Over the course of the pandemic, Abousabe and Malki spent a great deal of time finalizing existing material as well as composing, writing, singing and collaborating with diverse talent on new originals. Temple of Dreams is the culmination of these sessions, capturing the distinctive sound of the versatile, forward-thinking group who draws upon their Middle Eastern heritage, Western upbringing and worldly travels to connect with fans around the globe. 
 
“Temple of Dreams is an experiment that pushes boundaries and genres and lies between what we play live and what we’re capable of writing and producing,” said Malki. “We wanted to exceed expectations and present something completely new and sonically unexpected. This is not a collection of cuts; Temple of Dreams is a deep listening experience – a journey as winding and unpredictable as the last seven years.” Listen HERE.
 
The American-based DJ and music production duo have spent the better part of a decade fine-tuning their sound, masterfully blending their broad sonic vision and diverse influences. The musicians, singers, songwriters and multi-instrumentalists have pioneered genre transcending, timeless productions that have been featured on some of the world’s most notable labels such as Crosstown Rebels, Get Physical, All Day I Dream, and recently their own imprint – Human By Default. Temple of Dreams signals yet another evolution in Malki and Abousabe’s artistic development and enigmatic sound.
 
Track Highlights  
Every song on Temple of Dreams is composed, produced and sung by Bedouin along with collaborators on several tracks. All lyrics – with the exception of those on three tracks, “Tijuana” which uses the original lyrics by J.J. Cale; “Hokema” featuring the original lyrics by Sima Bina; and “Flore” with lyrics from the Cecilia song “Un Ramito De Violetas.” – were written by the duo. 
 
Temple of Dreams begins with the enchanting, ethereal sounds and grooves of “Rise and Fall”  followed by “Coldman” and its Eastern string sounds featuring seductive vocals by Nathan Daisy. Next is “Voices in My Head,” with darkly alluring vocals that bends genres with subtle nods to early 2000s hip hop. 
 
The global journey continues with the waves of “Wash Away” inspired by the rhythms of Tulum; “Crazy” featuring the raspy vocals of Armenian Singer Iveta Mukuchyan; the haunting “Hokema” performed by Iranian opera singer Delaram singing in Farsi; and the soulful “Flore”  alluring Spanish vocals by Chico Castillo of the legendary Gypsy Kings.
 
Other highlights include “Enjoy the Rain,” which starts with gentle acoustic guitar chords before a swell of percussion wraps vocals by Nathan Daisy; “Aliens” and “Love and Hate” which are dynamic, punchy house tracks; and “Fill the Space,” a mix of melodic magic, authentic instrumentation and rolling grooves.  
 
Temple of Dreams marks the highly-anticipated apex of Bedouin’s prolific career and artistic portfolio to date. Followed by a slew of original releases, 2020 marked the launch of their record label, Human By Default with their Whistleman EP, and in 2022 Bedouin recorded a groundbreaking Cercle set, filmed in Petra, Jordan. In addition to calling Burning Man home since 2012, in 2017 the duo debuted their award-winning weekly Ibiza residency and event concept SAGA, which quickly cemented itself as one of the island’s most sought-after weekly parties. On Wednesday, May 24, Bedouin will kick off the 2023 season of this immersive and transportive musical experience at Pacha, which features a massive lineup of world-class DJ talent in a visually mesmerizing backdrop.

The most epic opening party gets things under way in style on June 11th with a special three-way back to back between Ricard Villalobos, Raresh and Franco Cinelli on the Terraza next to Nima Gorji and Cuartero while the Main Room welcomes Andres Campo, Deborah De Luca, Kobosil and Luca Donzelli for an intense night of fresh techno.

After that the highlights come non-stop each week of the summer months with June 18th welcoming Chicago mainstay Honey Dijon, house hero Kerri Chandler in collaboration with Junction 2. About Pyramid

Amnesia’s in-house night Pyramid has become one of Ibiza’s most respected house and techno parties. It features vast line-ups that bring not just one headliner but many different top-level talents to the world famous club.
