New 4,000-capacity festival to debut at ancient greek temple in Sicily with Francesco Del Garda, Oshana, Onur Özer, Quest and more

This is the first in a series of extraordinary UNLOCKED events set in some of Sicily’s most iconic locations

The much-anticipated debut of Aura Festival will take place on 1st – 2nd May 2026 at the historic Castellammare del Golfo in Sicily. Positioned within the striking surroundings of the Parco Archeologico di Segesta, the two-day event brings a fresh daytime festival concept to the sun-baked island with the likes of Francesco Del Garda, Oshana, Onur Özer, Quest, Josh Baker, Traumer and more all playing one of Sicily’s most atmospheric and historic locations.

Aura Festival is an intimate electronic escape with a focus on high-quality production, carefully curated sound and scenic immersion. The promoters’ vision centres on bringing something distinctly new to southern Italy’s festival circuit as underground credibility comes to this culturally significant setting.

UNLOCKED has a significant history in the event production world and is the primary promoter behind Aura with more on the way, all with the aim of bringing something truly innovative and unmissable to Sicliy in breathtaking locations and with bold and adventurous line ups.

Located in the hills of western Sicily near Castellammare del Golfo, the archaeological park is one of the island’s most significant heritage sites and is home to the well-preserved Doric Temple of Segesta and an ancient Greek theatre overlooking the surrounding countryside. It’s a magical setting that makes the Aura Festival a truly unique getaway with music playing from day into night and switching moods to reflect the shift from dancing under the sun to under the stars.

Say the promoters, “AURA was created to forge new connections between people, music, art, and places through an experience that focuses on perception. In an accelerating world, Aura chooses to slow down: it does not follow trends, but seeks meaning, depth, and balance. It is about electronic music dialogues with the history of Segesta, while people and their stories intertwine in a shared space.” – Unlocked Events

The debut lineup reflects the cultured outlook go the festival with respected selectors and rising talents from across the house, minimal and tech scene including the cult selections of Francesco Del Garda, enthralling groove of Oshana, Onur Özer and Quest, new school sounds from Josh Baker, subtle swing and well crafted rhythm form Traumer, plus much more from Locklead, Bartolomeo, Sensazione Stupenda, Biondo, and Sebastian Capacity.

Set against the dramatic Sicilian landscape and ancient heritage of Segesta, this will be a sun-kissed musical journey that offers something alternative to traditional club environments.

Ministry of Sound Announces 2026 Resident DJs with HOME ROOTED Showcase

London institution Ministry of Sound announces a new resident DJ programme for 2026, introducing a cohort of artists who will play a central role in shaping the club’s sound both in London and internationally. The programme launches on 14 March with HOME ROOTED, a showcase event dedicated to the six residents representing the club for 2026.

DJ residencies have long been the backbone of club culture, including at Ministry of Sound who have famously had the likes of DJ Harvey, Tony Humphries and CJ Mackintosh over the years. Alongside those favourites, figures such as Frankie Knuckles at The Warehouse, Larry Levan at Paradise Garage and Marcel Dettmann at Berghain have demonstrated how consistent residents can define the musical identity of a venue and influence a city’s sonic culture. With this programme, Ministry of Sound places Resident DJs back at the centre of club culture.

Says Head of Talent, Travis Derrick, “Ministry of Sound has always been a place where new talent can grow into global artists. With HOME ROOTED, we’re celebrating the DJs who are part of the club’s DNA – artists who have already built a connection with our dancefloor and who we believe are ready for the next stage. This residency is about backing those artists properly and giving them the platform to represent both the club in London & on a global level.”

The residents to be announced are Paisley Jensen, Basso, Omari and Daniella Font, all of whom have previously played at the club and established themselves as reliable selectors within London’s underground circuit. Two further artists, Chanel Carmichael and Siân Own, are also part of the 2026 residency programme, focusing primarily on international appearances as part of the club’s global touring schedule.

The launch arrives as Ministry of Sound marks its 35th anniversary, with the residency programme forming part of the wider global celebrations. Alongside regular appearances in London, selected residents will represent the brand internationally through key dates on the Ministry of Sound 35 World Tour, bringing the club’s sound to audiences worldwide in locations such as Miami, Ibiza, Mykonos, Bali and more.

Surreal Park’s Soul Festival announces Carl Craig b2b Moodymann, KiNK (live), Mochakk, Len Faki, Guy J, Ratier, Sasha and more

Surreal Park, one of the world’s biggest nightlife destinations with a 135,000m² clubbing complex, will host three simultaneous stages curated by Defected, D EDGE and We Are Lost this April

Set inside one of the world’s largest clubbing spaces, Surreal Park based in Camboriú, Santa Catarina (Brazil), an open-air environment that lets audiences move between multiple stages, outdoor areas and distinct worlds in a single night.

On April 3rd Surreal Park returns with Soul Festival, the fourth edition of its annual in-house festival concept. Designed as a celebration of what truly moves a dancefloor – identity, heritage and connection – the event unfolds across three simultaneous stages, Ritual, Bells and Nomad, each curated by a globally recognised institution within club culture.

Ritual by Defected – House music, in its living form

Surreal Park’s main stage welcomes Defected, one of the most influential and enduring names in global House music.

A defining moment will be Carl Craig b2b Moodymann, a rare meeting of two foundational Detroit figures whose shared roots shaped the DNA of modern House and Techno. Also confirmed is KiNK (live), celebrated for unpredictable, fully organic performances, with appearances in Brazil notably rare. Mochakk makes his long-awaited Surreal Park debut, arriving as one of Brazil’s most internationally in-demand artists. Ratier, Surreal Park’s host and creative force, joins the lineup with nearly 30 years of career and an influential presence across House and Techno.

Bells by D EDGE – Techno at full pressure

Curated by São Paulo institution D EDGE, with over 25 years of continuous history shaping Brazil’s electronic scene, Bells delivers hypnotic, straight-to-the-point Techno.

Headlining is Len Faki, historic Berghain resident and one of the genre’s most respected figures, known for precise, high-energy sets. Also on the stage: Mila Journee, Aninha, plus one additional artist to be announced.

Nomad by We Are Lost – Progressive storytelling and long-form immersion

The festival’s third axis arrives via Nomad by We Are Lost, marking the first time the We Are Lost festival concept lands in Brazil. Led by Guy J, the brand is known for narrative flow, emotional tension and long-form immersion. This will be Guy J’s fourth appearance at Surreal Park, continuing a relationship defined by consistently packed floors.

He is joined by Sasha, a true icon of Progressive House and a central figure in the genre since the 1990s, alongside Sahar Z and Surreal Park resident Teclas.

A festival built for a venue of global scale

Soul Festival is designed specifically for the scale of Surreal Park’s 135,000m² complex, allowing audiences to move fluidly between House, Techno and Progressive, while experiencing the venue’s open-air atmosphere, wide outdoor spaces and multi-stage layout. The result is a night that feels both personal and massive: three curated rooms, one destination, and a crowd building its own journey across the site.

Soul Festival takes place on April 3rd at Surreal Park in Camboriú, Santa Catarina, Brazil. Early tickets are available through the official platforms via the Surreal Park website. Further information, set times and updates will be announced through Surreal Park’s official channels.

ANOTR, Mau P and Dennis Cruz Lead Gates of Agartha 2026 at Croatia’s Ancient Roman Quarry

Gates of Agartha has revealed the line-up for its 2026 Croatia edition, returning to the ancient Cave Romane quarry in Pula from June 4–7 with ANOTR, Mau P, Dennis Cruz, Hot Since 82, Traumer and Mita Gami leading the programme. The four-day event brings a curated selection of underground house, tech and melodic electronic artists to one of the region’s most visually distinctive open-air venues.

Headliners include Dutch duo ANOTR, performing a special extended sunrise set, alongside festival favourite Mau P, Spanish tech-house mainstay Dennis Cruz and UK producer Hot Since 82. Mita Gami joins with his blend of indie electronic and hypnotic grooves, while Avangart Tabldot and Saraga bring genre-fluid sets aligned with the festival’s underground direction.

Minimal specialist Traumer performs exclusively at the June 4 opening party at Pula Castle for Full Experience guests, setting the tone for the main programme across June 5–6 at Cave Romane. Support across the weekend comes from Ace Brothers, Zoe Done, Pablo Panda, Mene, Moukaide and Elena Mikac, completing a line-up rooted in underground house, minimal, deep tech and melodic sounds.

A defining feature of the Gates of Agartha is it’s otherworldy location. Set within a 2,000-year-old limestone quarry that once supplied stone for the Pula Arena Roman amphitheatre, Cave Romane is defined by towering 50-metre rock walls and powerful natural acoustics. Located in the coastal village of Vinkuran near Pula, the site sits within Istria’s historic landscape, a region often referred to locally as Terra Magica.

Founded by brothers Yalim and Yaaz Acar, creators of the Echoes From Agartha festival in Cappadocia, the project focuses on staging electronic music events in historically significant locations, transforming ancient landscapes into cinematic festival settings.

“Gates of Agartha was never meant to be just another festival,” say the founders. “Our vision has always been to create timeless moments where sound, history and community converge.”

The Croatia edition is proudly held in collaboration with BSH Events, a leading regional electronic music promoter known for high-impact productions across Croatia’s major venues and destinations and a loyal regional audience. Ticket prices range from €70–€180, with Full Experience packages including four nights’ accommodation at Monumenti, breakfast, fast-track entry and access to the opening and afterparties.

With its tightly curated scale, underground-led line-up and international audience, Gates of Agartha continues to position itself as a boutique electronic destination festival in Europe.
