Afterparty Carry On At Cova Santa Announced Following Epic Pyramid Opening At Amnesia This Sunday

This weekend, Ibiza’s most adventurous and underground house and techno party finally kicks off: the Pyramid Opening Party at Amnesia starts Sunday June 11th at 11pm and is an unmissable marathon across the world famous Main Room which will be soundtracked by Andres Campo, Deborah De Luca, Kobosil and Luca Donzelli, and the iconic Terraza with sets from Ricardo Villalobos b2b Raresh b2b Franco Cinelli, Nima Gorji and Cuartero. As if that wasn’t enough fun for one night, there will also be a special carry-on at Cova Santa on Monday 12th, the more intimate venue up in the hills of Ibiza with its own Outdoor and Indoor club. It’s a classy spot with high spec production that will welcome revellers from 6 pm. The line-up is a secret but chances are those who played the Pyramid Opening Party might make it up for more.

Amnesia’s famously forward thinking and immersive Pyramid party has pulled out all of the stops for this season. The weekly line-ups are the most diverse to date, with a tasteful mix of international stars, renowned live acts and plenty of irresistible pioneers all playing from the very cutting edge of house, techno, minimal and electro. Kerri Chandler, Honey Dijon, Ben UFO, Dax J, Nina Kraviz, Marco Farone, Maceo Plex, Stella Bossi and a live set from Reinier Zonneveld are all playing in June alone, with Caribou, Bonobo (DJ Set), Raresh, a Solo Techno takeover with Charlotte De Witte, KiNK live, Richie Hawtin and Sama’ Abdulhadi plus much more in the rest of the season.

Joshua Brooks is one of the UK’s most revered small clubs. It’s an underground space with focus on the details such as the famous VOID sound system that is perfectly tuned and tweaked to suit the venue. There is immersive and subtle lighting, a DJ booth that allows you to get right up close to the action and a famously up for it crowd.
This scorching summer run kicks off with an epic Parklife Afterparty on June 10th and the rest of the month includes Nautica All Night Long, then Burnski and Subb-An All Night Long, an extended set from Danny Bond, the return of the hugely popular Moxy Muzik party headlined by Darius Syrossian and Iglesias All Night Long.

Having become a true summer highlight, SummerDaze Festival is back this August with the hottest music a-listers around!

The main event will take place on the 15th August in collaboration with BBC Radio 1 Dance Anthems X and Creamfields, and the second will be held on the 18th of August, in collaboration with Radio M20 at the Ta’ Qali Picnic Area.

The event on the 15th of August will be headlined by music icons BLACK EYED PEAS, Puerto Rican megastar FARRUKO, Swedish hitmaker ZARA LARSSON & the platinum selling British collective D BLOCK EUROPE, supported by BBC RADIO 1 Dance Anthems’ very own Charlie Hedges.

Wellnergy Festival Partners With Spectrum First To Create First Safe Space For Neurodiverse Attendees

Wellnergy Festival is excited to announce its plans to become one of the most inclusive festivals in the UK as it partners with Spectrum First to create the first ever neuro-inclusivity festival safe space which will cater for all neurotypes.
Attending events involving large groups of people or crowds can be difficult for neurodivergent people. This can create issues on a daily basis when needing to do things that are necessary, such as food shopping as well as impacting things that people might want to experience, including going to events like festivals.

Hopefully, this partnership will mean that people who would not usually go to such spaces feel safe in the knowledge that not only can they attend, but that they will be fully welcomed, understood and supported when they do.

Nick Steiert, founder of Wellnergy says, “Wellnergy is a very inclusive brand, so when it was suggested that we try and foster this even more by making our festival neuro-inclusive, it lit a spark inside of me and I jumped at the opportunity to try and make this happen.”
Gemma Barstow, Spectrum First added, “festivals, art and culture have been shown to have a positive impact on neurodivergent individuals, many of whom are creative and artistically minded themselves, however research has often shown these spaces to be inaccessible for a wide variety of reasons including, but absolutely not limited to, their sensory experiences.”
Working with Wellnergy will allow Spectrum First to bring its understanding of neuro inclusion to a festival space for the first time, focusing on how to support neurodivergent people to feel safe, supported but most importantly able to enjoy a festival whilst connecting with others.
Barstow adds, “We have published an article which demonstrates the choices we are making about this pilot and how best to create the space.  We will also be posting information about what to expect during specific stages of the festival. All of the design is being developed with and by neurodivergent people. Our mantra at Spectrum First is that there is no best practice, because we continually strive to better our methods, the same mantra that will be applied to this project!”

After three raucous parties last year, HE.SHE.THEY. returns to Amnesia, Ibiza for an increased eight parties this summer.
The influential and boundary-breaking HE.SHE.THEY. night is centred around diversity, inclusion and, above all else, fun. This is a party for EVERYONE. ALL genders, ALL races and ALL sexualities. HE.SHE.THEY. DOES NOT DISCRIMINATE.
Bringing a talent-first and diverse line-up of DJs to the island, special house sets come via Marcel Dettmann and Ben Klock. Leaders of the scene like Kerri Chandler, Maya Jane Coles, Kink, Tiga, Overmono, Avalon Emerson, Todd Terje, Felix da Housecat, Horse Meat Disco and Âme are joined by burgeoning global talents such as FKA.M4A, Sally C, Honeyluv, Dana Montana, DJ Holographic, Doudou MD and Paula Tape with many more besides. No line-up would be complete without HE.SHE.THEY. residents SYREETA and Maze & Masters.

Leeds’ all new event space Canvas Yard has made a huge impact on the musical landscapes of the city in its first month

Canvas Yard is a brand new collaboration between Moda Living and New Citizens. It is Leeds’ largest outdoor event space right in the heart of the city and it gets transformed with cutting edge audio-visual production and a powerful sound system that never fails to deliver the perfect soundtrack for the 4000 attendees who have already experienced the magic of partying there.
Says Stu, “The New Citizens team and I are really happy with how these first events at Canvas Yard went. With such a lack of cultural space in Leeds it was amazing to witness the Hacienda and then Defected audience enjoy themselves and the hard work from all our core team, freelancers and suppliers paying off.”
Eleanor Trigwell, Brand Manager at Moda Living, said: “It was fantastic to see the Hacienda brought to life at Canvas Yard, in what was an amazing celebration of community, collaboration and, of course, music. The first historic event saw the legendary FAC51 Hacienda head to Leeds for an open air event on Sunday 30th April 2023 with a special Bank Holiday Weekend all dayer with Roger Sanchez, Todd Terry, Dimitri From Paris, Derrick Carter, Greg Wilson, DJ Paulette, Ralph Lawson and Marshall all laying it down in fine style.
After that, influential house music label Defected made a huge return to Leeds for their first show in the city in over five years on Coronation Bank Holiday Sunday, May 7th, when the likes of Gorgon City, Hannah Wants, Low Steppa, Sam Divine, Arielle Free and Rio Tashan all played.
Next up is the city’s longest running and most loved gathering, The Garden Party. This year it adds an all new second stage with a line up including its most diverse and forward thinking talents to date with Daniel Avery, Pawsa, Skream, Paul Woolford, LF System, Special Request, Sherelle, Bradley Zero, Todd Terje, Palms Trax and Dr Banana all playing. Next to the music, there is an array of tasty eats and drinks in the food village and a relaxing chill out area making this the most complete Garden Party yet.
Canvas Yard has already set a new party standard in Leeds, and it is only just getting started.
