The blistering new single, “Run The World (Girls)”, is a stunning taster from Beyonce’s much-anticipated fourth solo album.  The album’s due out this summer and Oxegen fans will be amongst the first to hear her new material performed live.  
Beyoncé’s most recent multi-platinum album, “I AM…SASHA FIERCE,” includes her scorching anthem ‘Single Ladies’ and the beautiful ‘If I Were A Boy’.  The album won Beyoncésix Grammy Awards, the most for any female artist in a given year, bringing her total to 16.
 
International superstar Beyoncé has dominated the music charts this decade spending the most weeks on the Billboard Hot 100, more than any female artist. She has had more Top 40, Top 20, Top 10 and Top 5 hit records over the past 10 years and more cumulative time spent at #1.  Her #1 singles includes ‘Crazy In Love’, widely acknowledged as the best song of the last decade. Forbes Magazine also voted Beyoncé No.1 in their list of the ‘Most Powerful and Influential Musicians in the World’.

London’s most exclusive nightclub LUXX will be hosting and transforming the VIP Arena into an opulent, luxurious haven for dance fans.  In just over a year LUXX has established itself as the hottest most exclusive nightclub in London.   Frequented by London’s VIP crowd, the venue has played host to some of the biggest DJs in the world including Roger Sanchez, Sebastian Ingrosso, Calvin Harris, Afrojack and more, as well as live PA’s from the likes of Tinie Tempah and Kelis and its not only London that LUXX has taken by storm but also around the world with collaborations in Dubai, Italy, Switzerland and Sweden.   Bringing their touch of class to the leafy fields of Victoria Park in London on Saturday 11th June, their resident DJ’s Tariq, Ibellini, Sacha Muki and Pimps Don’t Cry will be joining the line-up, spinning ‘house’ sounds throughout the day.
 
The VIP Package includes fastrack entry, exclusive access into the LUXX Arena which features a fully stocked bar, indoor and outdoor seating areas, complimentary BBQ, luxury toilets, commemorative photo and access to exclusive VVIP private cabanas.

skillrexAs the brainchild of 21 year old promoter Callum Negus Fancey, Lets Go Crazy has a fresh history of putting on parties in the biggest and best venues such as Brixton Academy, Ministry of Sound and Matter to name a few.  Their line-ups are diverse but focus on electronica, dub-step and drum n bass and have always created an indoor festival vibe rather than a straight up club atmosphere. Over the last 2 years Let’s Go Crazy have also hosted special pop-up parties at Rob da Bank’s Bestival and Camp Bestival festivals but now the brand elevates to its own arena at one of this Summers hottest dance events L.E.D presents deadmau5 Live @ Victoria Park, acts performing in the Lets Go Crazy Arena include Nero, Skrillex, Modestep, DJ Hype, DJ Fresh, Jaguar Skills, Netsky, LGC Resident DJ’s plus more to be added.

mark ronsonFirst up is the internationally renowned artiste and uber producer Mark Ronson.   There are no limits when it comes to the success of this multi-talented Brit award winner who has worked with some of the biggest names in music including Amy Winehouse, Christina Aguilera and Adele. Another chart topper joining the bill is Calvin Harris, the No.1 selling artiste whose hits include ‘Something For The Weekend’ and ‘Dance Wiv Me’ which saw him collaborate with Dizzee Rascal will be performing a DJ set on the Main Outdoor stage.   Next up we have one of the UK’s biggest musical figureheads, BBC Radio 1’s Zane Lowe and multi award winning dubstep duo Nero. The dominating sound over the last 12 months has undoubtedly been dubstep and Nero are at the forefront, having scooped the award for ‘Best Dubstep Act’ in the beatport Awards and being signed to the Chase & Status label, 2011 is already set to eclipse last year’s success.
 
skrillexOne artiste that everyone’s talking about at the moment is the genre-breaking Skrillex, the American DJ/Producer who describes his current sound as “a mix of dubstep, electro and glitch all thrown in together” is beatport’s latest musical dominator, following the release of his 9-song EP, the title track claimed the sites No.1 slot, the first time a dubstep track has ever done so with the remaining 8 songs also breaking into the Top 10.   Other acts performing include one of Drum & Bass’ biggest ambassadors DJ Hype who will be joined on stage by MC:IC3, London based trio Modestep, d&b master DJ Fresh,original ninja Jaguar Skills, and Hospital Records Netsky who leads the wave of new skool d&b talent from Europe.

Swedish House Mafia and Leftfield added to T in the Park

The institution dance music fans know and love as the Slam Tent will be back at Balado to celebrate its 15th consecutive year and with Leftfield confirmed as a headliner, it’s a line-up that calls for double celebration.  The stellar Slam bill of dance heavyweights also includes The Streets, Bloody Beetroots Death Crew 77,
Felix da Housecat, Slam, Diplo, Josh Wink, Benga & Youngman, Silicone Soul andMathew Jonson.  That’s just for Slam starters as there’s much more to come.
 
swedish house mafiaThe infamous Swedish House Mafia are set to tear it up when they descend upon Balado.  Huge individually and riotous together, the superstar trio of DJ’s Steve Angello, Sebastian Ingrosso and Axwell take dance music to another level when performing as a collective.  They stormed the charts with Tinie Tempah last year providing the unofficial soundtrack to the summer with dance floor anthem ‘Miami 2 Ibiza’ and now it’s time to take on T in the Park.
 
leftfieldLeftfield pioneered the electronic music scene of 90’s Britain with seminal debut album ‘Leftism’ which fused dub, breakbeat and techno.  The album was shortlisted for the Mercury Music Prize and reached Q Magazine’s 100 Greatest British Albums ever.  Famous for touring with an outrageously loud sound system which created headlines in Amsterdam and caused the ceiling of the Brixton Academy to crumble, Neil Barnes is set to make the blue walls of the Slam Tent throb as he single-handedly brings the Leftfield experience to the masses this summer.
 
deadmau5This man is so on top of his game that he hardly needs an introduction.  Deadmau5, the 28 year old Canadian, is an electro house producer with a big difference.  There’s the large cartoon mouse head costume of course, but there’s also the artist, the technical whizzkid, the Grammy Award nominee and the outstanding reputation for being the most forward thinking person in electronic music right now. Killer clubland tracks such as ‘Ghosts N Stuff’ and ‘I Remember’ are sure to form part of a highly visual set that will go down in history.  The man has his finger on the pulse, he creates the pulse, he IS the pulse.
 
Hailed as one of the world’s best electronic music acts, 2manydjs bring their pounding electro for what will be their third appearance at T in the Park. Fans of the Belgian brothers’ sell out shows know to expect outstanding visual treats and electrifying chemistry between the pair, making their set an unmissable affair. Mash ups of foot stompers like Gossip’s ‘Standing in the Way of Control’ and MGMT’s ‘Kids’ have been filling dancefloors all over the world and the fields of Balado will be shaking when these two take to the decks.
