808 STATE (DJ SET), CHICANE, DJ SPOONY, DJ LUCK & MC NEAT AND MORE JOIN FAITHLESS AND CRAIG DAVID AT BARTON LIVE OPEN-AIR SERIES, MANCHESTER 

Barton Live has announced a wave of high-profile lineup additions to its debut four-day open-air music series at Barton Aerodrome, Manchester, which runs from Thursday 2 to Sunday 5 July 2026. The new names strengthen an already standout programme that brings together some of the most influential figures in UK dance and electronic music alongside globally renowned headliners.

Saturday 4 July sees Craig David Presents TS5 elevated with a heavyweight garage and club lineup, featuring UK garage pioneers DJ Luck & MC Neat and Kiss FM mainstay DJ Spoony plus multi-genre master Patrick Nazemi. The additions underline this as a definitive celebration of UK garage and r&b past and present and complements the much loved Craig David’s signature blend of live vocals and DJing.

On Friday 3 July, iconic electronic act Faithless (Live) will now be joined by acid house pioneers 808 State who will deliver a showcase of their raw sounds with an exclusive DJ set alongside trance and progressive legend Chicane. 

Thursday 2 July is headlined by David Gray, whose Past & Present Tour is already nearing sell-out while Sunday 5 July’s Electric Heart festival features indie favourites including The Fratellis, Scouting For Girls, The Feeling, The Hoosiers, Toploader and Dodgy.

Located on Liverpool Road in Eccles, Barton Aerodrome will host four consecutive 5,000-capacity open-air shows that combine large-scale production with a welcoming and accessible outdoor setting. The site will feature bespoke staging, immersive sound and lighting and practical amenities including on-site parking and strong public transport links with early evening finishes designed to appeal to a broad audience.

Barton Live is conceived as a cohesive summer series rather than standalone events so offers audiences the opportunity to experience multiple genres and world-class performances across a single long weekend.

Legendary electronic act Faithless are to play a major open-air live show at Barton Aerodrome, Manchester, on Friday 3 July 2026 as part of the newly launched Barton Live summer concert series.

The performance will see the iconic Faithless deliver a full live set in a rare large-scale outdoor setting that allows them to bring their iconic fusion of electronic energy, live instrumentation and emotionally charged songwriting to one of the North West’s most distinctive open-air venues. The famously powerful show will draw from a famous back catalogue that has defined dance music culture for three decades and includes era-spanning anthems such as ‘Insomnia,’ ‘God Is A DJ’ and ‘Salva Mea’.

For the Faithless show, Barton Aerodrome will be transformed with bespoke staging, immersive sound and lighting. It comes at a milestone period for Faithless, who have now been shaping the scene for 30 years and continue to excel after multiple UK Top 10 singles, six Top 5 albums, three UK Number Ones and global sales exceeding 20 million records. 

Formed in the mid-1990s and fresh off their latest critically acclaimed album Champion Sound, Faithless have long been one of the most influential and enduring acts in the scene thanks to their bridging of underground sounds and mainstream consciousness. Now fronted by founding members Sister Bliss and Rollo, the group continue to lead from the front as an unstoppable live force with a rare spirit and underlying message of unity that has always defined them. 

The Manchester date forms part of Barton Live, a new four-day open-air concert series launching this summer at Barton Aerodrome, Eccles. Designed as a curated run of major outdoor shows rather than a one-off event, the series positions the historic aerodrome as a new destination for large-scale live music in the North West with the likes of David Gray, Craig David presents and Electric Heart festival with The Fratellis, Scouting For Girls, The Feeling, The Hoosiers, Toploader and Dodgy all lined up.

New summer live music series Barton Live launches this July with four consecutive 5000 capacity open-air shows at Barton Aerodrome, Manchester. From Thursday 2 to Sunday 5 July 2026, the curated run brings together three major headline concerts and a full one day festival that establish Barton Aerodrome as a key outdoor live music destination for the North West and beyond. 

The series opens on Thursday 2 July with globally renowned British singer-songwriter and ‘Babylon’ hit maker  David Gray – Past & Present Tour, a show already on sale and nearing sell-out status.  On Friday 3 July, legendary electronic act Faithless lineup with a full live performance that features an iconic blend of electronic, dance and live instrumentation and many of their seminal hits from ‘Insomnia’ to ‘God Is A DJ.’ Saturday 4 July sees Craig David present TS5, bringing his evergreen and party-ready mix of garage, r&b and classic club anthems to the open air. The run concludes on Sunday 5 July with Electric Heart, a carefully curated indie celebration featuring fan-favourites The Fratellis, Scouting For Girls, The Feeling, The Hoosiers, Toploader and Dodgy.
