The long awaited return of Pyramid to the iconic Amnesia is now just weeks away. This year, each party starts in the daylight at 7pm and runs for a hedonistic 12 hours each and every week so you can dance from dusk till dawn. The unmissable opening party is set for June 12th with Ricardo Villalobos, Four Tet, Adam Beyer, KiNK, Lilly Palmerand Cuartero. The season is packed with all killer line-ups that will see the mighty Northern Irish pair Bicep bring their critically acclaimed live show to the club, while Radio 1 will also be doing one of their legendary shows, DJ Nina Kraviz will also play, and Cocoon boss Sven Väth will also play two exclusive dates while Detroit icon DJ Stingray 313 and Berghain mainstay Ben Klock also line up.

The Cappadocia region was formed 60 million years ago by the erosion of soft layers of lava and ash from Mount Erciyes (Argaeus), composed with wind and rain over millions of years. Epic geographical events created its unique nature and history: it is a Unesco World Heritage site like no other with tufa hills, deep ravines, fairy chimneys, rock-hewn churches, underground cities, and hot air balloons dotting the sky in the early morning hours.

Christians, Persians, Romans, Arabs, Byzantines, Seljuks, Ottomans, and now Turks have all lived in the region throughout its rich history as an important junction of the Silk Road trading route, and its many stories are carved into Cappadocia’s surreal landscape. It makes for the most beautiful location possible and will have your every sense tingling from the moment you arrive.

The full Agartha Experience is unlike any other you will have ever known with daily excursions, historical and cultural tours, Turkish rug and ceramic making, ATV tours, horseback riding, Sufi teachings in an ancient monastery, an underground city visit and extras such as a dinner party, afterparty in a hot air balloon or standard hot air balloon ride. Accomodation packages include access to the festival as well as stays at Utopia Cave Hotel, Dere Suites, Anka Cave Suites, Hanedan, Cappadocia Suites, Argos in Cappadocia and Goreme Kaya Hotel.

The festival boasts three different venues – The Zion on Thursday which is inspired by the Matrix and located in a narrow canyon with tall rock formations that hug the dance floor, creating a cave-like illusion. On Saturday, it’s to The Valley of Monasteries, a valley surrounded by ancient monasteries and fairy chimneys dating back to the 4th century. The closing ritual and the grand finale will also be held on this ancient playground. The Yunak Evleri is a Friday rooftop venue only accessible to people with an Agartha Experience Pass. It will be a sunset gathering on top of the oldest cave hotel in the region.

Echoes from Agartha is a dream project that comes from Gate Experience, a company founded by two siblings. 2022 will definitely be a new start for Family Piknik and it will begin on Sunday 31st July in the new avant-garde and unique decor of Lunel Arena, located only 20 minutes away from Grammont’s open park previously used as the festival’s playground. Central place in the city, close to the train station, Lunel’s Arena will start to dance with Family Piknik through a very attractive Opening event highlighting some of the best Deep-Progressive artists.

From 11am to midnight, colourful deco, human performances and pink flamingos will flag the mixes from Colyn and Denis Horvat, the Afterlife new champions, among the most creative artists of their generation, will deliver an exclusive and tremendous back-to-back next to the living legends of the Pro- gressive House scene, Hernan Cattaneo b2b Nick Warren. For three hours, for the first time in France, these two pioneers will share their exquisite musicality with us before giving way to the exquisite Nora en Pure, one of the most popular Deep-Progressive artists, monthly listened by almost 3 million per- sons each month. Both Unorthodox and Mandidextrous recognise the impact queer communities had when rave culture was founded in the 80s and how the scene of today has deviated form its roots, resulting in an environment unsuitable for the community, one that is often deemed ‘unsafe’ and suffers from ‘toxic masculinity’.

“Music is for everyone to enjoy, whatever the genre, without the fear of confrontation or judgment” says Nathan X, drag queen Drum and Bass DJ and founder of Unorthodox.

This will be Unorthodox’ biggest show to date. IMANU, bi-sexual DJ from the Netherlands, will headline the Village Underground date; the legendary John B joins the bill as well as award winning Scottish DJ, Mrs Magoo. Chickaboo, the first ever woman to MC over Drum and Bass, hosts the show alongside Plymouth’s Maddy V and electrifying drag MC, Bennitrate. MOGA was born in Essaouira (Morocco), which was named Mogador by the Portuguese hundreds of years ago. The Whet Foundation is a Florida based 501c3 organization that offers grass roots disaster relief for those experiencing hardships and creates exciting experiences for underprivileged children in South Florida, the Caribbean and Mexico. Through our Community Captains and Destination Donation programs, we strive to excite the lives of those less fortunate in a fun and engaging way while positively affecting an entire generation. In 2020, the Whet Foundation launched it’s COVID-19 Relief Fund through the Groove Cruise Virtual Sail Aways live streams on twitch and have since accumulated over 9 million minutes watched and 1 million live views; this massive support raised over $50,000 for those facing hardships due to COVID-19 and was able to send over 250 relief grants and donate hundreds of face shields to multiple hospitals in South Florida.
