Arenal Sound 2013 – The Kooks, Editors, The Drums and The Fratellis to headline

In its 4th edition, Arenal Sound has grown to currently become one of the most important Spanish Festival. Last year, Arenal Sound was the festival with more attendees in Spain and now it has the line up closed and almost all the tickets sold out.

Renowned national and international artists are going to fill up the four stages of the festival from the 1st of August to the 4th of August.

Bands as Editors, The Kooks, Klaxons, The Drums, Steve Aoki, The Fratellis, White Lies, The Bloody Beetroots, Totally Enormous Extinct Dinosaurs or Is Tropical will be some of the headliners of the festival.

International groups that are making their way on stages worldwide won’t miss the appointment, as Kakkmaddafakka, Ra Ra Riot, Satellite Stories, Reptile Youth or Alphabeat, among others. And we will count on the presence of national bands as Lori Meyers, La Habitación Roja, Iván Ferreiro, Manel or Dorian, among others.

More than 100 artists and six days of camping, where thousands of youth around the world will live days of sun, beach, swimming pool, boat parties, sports activities and great music in El Arenal beach at Burriana in Castellón (Spain).

Arenal Sound will begin with the Welcome Party at the Beach Club on the 30th of July and the 31st of July with the concerts of Second, Skip&Die or Xoel López, among many others groups.

Lineup additions for Monegros Desert Festival

Take out your agenda, and start planning summer; the 19th edition of Monegros Desert Festival will take place on July 20th 2013. The biggest electronic music festival, the biggest rave in Spain. A lot of terms are used in an attempt to describe this festival; however it is literally impossible to put in plain words if you have not had the chance to attend it. A Life experience! Set in the desert, 40 000 people, 20hrs non-stop music, alternating between Electro, Techno, Hip Hop, Drum & Bass & Dubstep, Monegros is a unique event.

ARTISTS HIGHLIGHTED THE BLOODY BEETROOTS – LIVE

Close your eyes and imagine, if you will, the bastard son of the Misfits and Daft Punk. Bloody Beetroots is a worldwide phenomenon under which the producer and dj Sir Bob Cornelius Rifo operates. The Bloody Beetroots will perform their new live show for Monegros festival as one of two exclusive shows in Spain this year.

The Bloody Beetroots

PACO OSUNA (festival closing set)

Spanish techno DJ and producer who has released on Plus8 as well as his own label Mindshake. He is famous for his dynamic sets, and a unique connectionwith his audience. Paco has won many awards including best spanish DJ for DJ Mag Spain and Vicious Magazine. He will be in charge of the difficult task of closing the festival on the main stage. Not a bad thing as last year ́s artist responsible for this was Richie hawtin.

ADAM BEYER VS JOSEPH CAPRIATI (b2b techno set)

Alongside Stockholm ́s Cari Lekebusch, Joel Mull and Jesper Dahlback, Adam Beyer has become synonymous with the techno sound of Sweden, which has quite literally shaken the world since the mid-nineties. The head of Drumcode will be supported by the new Italian sensation Joseph Capriati, for a special techno back 2 back set. Joseph Capriati can be described as one of the new heavyweight on Drumcode, playing on main festival stages such as Time Warp and Awakenings.

LUCIANO, LOCO DICE Y MARCO CAROLA ON ELROW STAGE

The most colourful and crazy stage comes back in full action. Elrow stage will cater once again for 15 000 fans, all dancing from sunset till sunrise under the stars to the beats and grooves of three of the biggest tenors: Luciano, Loco Dice and Marco Carola.

Now in its 5th year, Stereosonic is the brainchild of two Australian boutique event companies with the vision to bring the best in ever-popular and new talent to a discerning music crowd.  Our ethos is simple: Try to provide the best lineup, the best venues, the best experience whilst improving each year at the best possible price.  Stereosonic is Australia’s largest electronic music festival, now let’s get to it…

What a year for our Artists!
AfrojackWhether it be Afrojack winning a grammy and reaching #1 in US and Australian charts, LMFAO owning the Australian Pop Charts for 11 weeks, Benny Benassi and his big tunes/collaborations and massive new album ‘Electroman’, Aviici bursting onto every major festival and club chart or Empire of the Sun’s epic show at ‘Ultra Music’ in Miami and ‘Coachella’, it has been a huge year for this year’s artists. Armin van Buuren sold out his ‘A State Of Trance 500’ show in Sydney earlier in the year, Carl Cox is currently rocking it in Ibiza with his ‘Carl Cox and Friends’ night, Dash Berlin has been storming up the DJ Mag Top 100 in super fashion, Pretty Lights has been rocking the planet being dubbed as the new Girltalk, Dirty South flying the Australian flag worldwide, whilst Ferry Corsten is getting ready to drop his new, tasty, massive album! Speaking of new albums, Kaskade has a killer new album to come, BT is back with a new live show and more. There is so much to go on about, its ridiculous!

Ticket prices in comparison to other festivals
In staying true to our core ethos, Stereosonic will continue to aim to deliver the best lineups possible, at the best possible ticket price. We have raised the prices slightly this year to help improve our services to you on the day and to enable us to deliver the biggest acts in electronic music!
