The much anticipated second edition of MOGA Caparica returns to Portugal’s stunning Costa de Caparica from the 1st to 5th of June. MOGA was born in Essaouira (Morocco), which was named Mogador by the Portuguese hundreds of years ago. It is a boutique electronic music festival inspired by Atlantic vibes and providing an experience that connects people from all around the world through dance, music, art and wellness. Moga is also a tribe, a strong community of nomads sharing the same values and lifestyle spreading from Essaouira to Caparica and beyond.

This is the second edition of MOGA Caparica after a stunning debut last year. It took place in October as a replacement for Essaouira edition, which returns this year in October with MOGA Caparica moving to June to take full advantage of the summer weather.

This year will feature an extra beach party with two in all on Saturday. A festival pass includes access to the beach parties on Friday, Saturday and Sunday and as well as the spectacular dancing, you can enjoy free access to the OFF events happening throughout the five days such as music, art, wellness, talks, food and more.

The first wave of names includes Amine K – Morocco’s ambassador for electronic music who always brings happiness through his music, Ibiza favourites Audiofly, Istanbul’s fast rising Carlita, Dutch pair Dam Swindle bring their cross-sectional grooves, Dan Shake brings his warm and heartfelt house sounds and Folamour is part of the recent renaissance of young French house and disco producers with a deep love for all music. Then amongst others come much loved melodic house maestros Parallells. The pair are regulars on Agoria’s Sapiens label. Then comes Portuguese NTS favourite and Melodies International label co-founder Mafalda who plays a famously broad selection of love-fuelled house, soul, disco, Latin, funk and more plus the likes of Laurence Guy, Lola Villa, Madd Rod, Magupi, Shugi and YokoO.

Inside the Basement is all about an intimate, low-ceiling, personal club experience with a world-class sound system while the Lab offers its own different sound with a high-wall, warehouse aesthetic.

Leading the way this summer is all-new, music-centric Sunday party Encore, which boasts a tasteful mix of quality artists from across the house, tech & underground spectrum. Each and every Sunday throughout the season it will mix up the best names in the game and kicks-off with a huge ‘Traumer Invites’ party that sees Raresh, Priku & Gescu join Traumer on May 29th. A selector, producer and label head at the top of his game, Enzo Siragusa continues to prove exactly why he’s held in such high regard as a staple of the underground music scene. While developments have seen the FUSE boss adjust his approach, recent months have combined a wealth of studio time with the unveiling of new projects – most recently announcing the launch of his new genre-bending all-night-long event series, E:DIMENSION. Yet, there’s something about a release from Siragusa on home turf that stands out amongst the pack, with productions like ‘Sagamore’, ‘Desire’, ‘Flexin’ and the ‘Kilimanjaro’ cuts instantly recognisable after just a few seconds, and the same looks set to happen as he makes his highly-anticipated return with his first solo material on the label for over two years. Unveiling one of his most heavily requested tracks to date alongside further peak-time business on the flip, April finally welcomes the arrival of the two-track ‘Nothing Matters’.

“After almost a year hiatus on the FUSE London label and 2 years since my last FUSE release – it’s time to bring it back this April. The last few years were a time of introspection forced on us all. A lot changed in that time for me. Playing records to people and being in raves has always been my main source of inspiration, and without it, I was a bit lost. It was important to take this moment to step back and reconnect with my sound, think about what I want to do with the label and where to take it, both musically and as the product that I want to stand the test of time.

Relaunching the label with a special release that I’m very proud of gives me the perfect opportunity to present a new look, feel & sound from me. A track that’s been making waves for months, ‘ICV (Double Flake Mix)’ brings the sub-shaking, cavernous reese bassline now captured by many across the globe as Siragusa launches into his signature blend of heads-down, hands-up sonics, while the vinyl-only dub delves into afterparty territories to offer up an exclusive version for wax owners. On the flip, title cut ‘Nothing Matters’ graces the B-Side and keeps things moving as meandering melodies ride rumbling low-ends, swinging drums and chunky grooves to shape up proceedings in emphatic fashion. It’s safe to say Siragusa’s back, and he’s back like he never left.
