Five days and five nights of continuous music in the untouched paradise of Shëngjin, Albania just got even better.

UNUM Festival continues to build momentum for its 2026 edition with the announcement of its highly anticipated Phase 2 lineup, further cementing its position as one of the most essential dates in the global electronic music calendar and building on its success at the DJ Awards, where it was crowned Best Global Festival 2025.

Newly announced artists include Arapu, Ageless, CAP, DJ Tennis, Franco Cinelli, Gerd Janson, Prospa, Doudou MD, and Mateo Dufour and Isaac Carter adding fresh depth and dynamic range to an already standout program. A select number of special guests will still be revealed in Phase 3 in the coming months, strengthening what is set to become UNUM’s most comprehensive and forward-thinking edition to date.

Following its DJ Awards win, UNUM enters its seventh year with a rapidly growing international community and a carefully balanced blend of underground pioneers, contemporary tastemakers, and emerging talent.

The Phase 2 additions span deep minima of l, house, electro, and forward-leaning club sounds. They join an already heavyweight lineup featuring Ricardo Villalobos, Ben Klock, Raresh, Craig Richards, Cameron Jack, East End Dubs, Richy Ahmed, Dyed Soundorom, and Krystal Klear, alongside revered selectors such as Margaret Dygas, Dan Ghenacia, Praslea, Priku, Francesco Del Garda, Maher Daniel, Sahar, and Tobi Neumann.

30 Years of Kiesgrube: Europe’s Longest Running Open-Air Club Unveils Full 2026 Season

In 2026, Kiesgrube celebrates 30 years as one of Europe’s longest-standing open-air electronic music venues. Since 1996, it has operated as a weekly open-air event, a format that has allowed it to remain a constant presence on the European circuit. Three decades on, the venue has been reimagined and rebuilt, with a brand-new L-Acoustics sound system and expanded dance areas for 2026 season.

“Over the last three decades, Kiesgrube has remained independent, defined by its raw, unfiltered connection between artist and audience”, says founder Tom Preuss. “For the 30th anniversary, our intention is to protect this spirit while preparing it for the decades ahead. Not only for Düsseldorf, but for the wider European dance music community.”

There is hardly a global electronic music heavyweight who has not played Kiesgrube over the years, but the venue has never been about names alone. It’s about the feeling that has always brought like-minded people together from around the world to gather each Sunday. That is reflected in this special season to mark its 30-year anniversary from April through August, culminating in a landmark closing celebration.

The 30th anniversary season kicks off on Sunday April 19, with a Pre-Opening Open Air led by Maceo Plex. The official Opening on Friday May 01 sees global icon Peggy Gou headline alongside Dennis Cruz, while May continues at full intensity with and WhoMadeWho on May 14, followed by a heavyweight pairing of Pawsa on May 25. Early summer reaches another peak on June 14 as Black Coffee returns, joined by, before techno takes centre stage on June 21 with Amelie Lens. Late June delivers one of the most anticipated highlights of the season on June 28, as Jamie Jones and The Martinez Brothers lead an all-star showcase alongside Vintage Culture and Paco Osuna. July continues with a landmark appearance from Cocoon legend Sven Väth on July 12, and he shares the bill with Dixon B2B Jimi Jules. The early August Weekender brings Mahmut Orhan across both outdoor and indoor formats while mid-August welcomes Boris Brejcha and Andrea Oliva. The 30-year celebrations culminate on Sunday August 30 with a monumental Season Closing featuring Joseph Capriati b2b Mau P.

Located in western Germany and within reach of Cologne, Düsseldorf and the wider NRW region, it has become a cornerstone of European club culture and a place of musical immersion set within raw, natural surroundings. As part of the 30-year renovations, the venue is planning a brand new restaurant concept, a dedicated food area and upgraded digital infrastructure improvements designed to elevate the experience while keeping the club’s spirit intact. The sprawling site delivers Ibiza-inspired open-air energy with sand underfoot, green trees overhead and a dance floor to remove the usual barriers between headliner and crowd. The audio-visual setup is high-spec and high impact, and the closeness of DJ and dancers creates an intensity rarely found elsewhere.

Thirty years on, Kiesgrube remains what it has always been: a sanctuary for electronic music lovers under the sun and the stars.

GALACTICA launches Eden Ibiza residency in collaboration with Cocoricò

Ibiza welcomes a powerful new chapter this summer as GALACTICA launches its first official island residency at Eden in San Antonio. Running from May through September, the format, which runs in collaboration with Cocoricò, brings a bold and uncompromising vision that will carve out a fresh space for hard techno on the White Isle. 

Bringing its own distinct language, community and sharply defined sonic identity, GALACTICA puts sound at the core of the experience at the world renowned Eden. The concept will showcase  hard, hypnotic and high-intensity take on techno that is deeply rooted in the contemporary European underground.

Originally conceived with Cocoricò as the first travelling Italian hard techno festival, GALACTICA has rapidly grown into one of the scene’s most recognisable brands. Since its inception, GALACTICA has built its identity by bridging established names from the Italian and international electronic scenes with a new wave of emerging artists. The project’s cosmic theme has evolved naturally into a wider cultural platform and label, and has already landed at key clubbing institutions including Nexus in Paris, E1 in London and Fabrik in Madrid.

Amnesia Milano Unveils New L-Acoustics Sound System and 360degree LED Wall for 2026 Season

Amnesia Milano continues to make huge waves in 2026 with the unveiling of a brand new cutting-edge sound and lighting system, led by a state-of-the-art L-Acoustics setup delivering pristine audio to every corner of the club, alongside an immersive 360° LED wall and a newly integrated, modular ceiling lighting design built to transform Italy’s most influential club. In march Amnesia will host Meduza aftershow Dj set Saturday 7 and Adam Ten Saturday 14. Meduza will arrive at Amnesia for the fourth time, the day after their show in the Opening Ceremony of the Milano Cortina 2026 Paralympic Winter Games, once again confirming their ability to move effortlessly between clubbing and major institutional events; For a decade, Adam Ten has been one of the most versatile DJs and producers on the global electronic music scene, thanks to his innate ability to effortlessly embrace sounds from all genres. His is a rare talent, honed over time and always fueled by an innate curiosity for new sounds and talent, as he recently demonstrated with “All Stars 10”, a compilation released last January on Maccabi House, the record label Adam Ten created with his partner Mita Gami.

PHILLGOOD is stepping into its next phase. Alongside a new wave of artists, the festival has announced a third stage dedicated entirely to electronic music, expanding its eclectic programming across 17–19 July at Plovdiv’s Rowing Canal. The 2026 edition now unfolds across three distinct spaces: the main PHILLGOOD Stage, the leftfield PHILLCOOL, and the newly launched electronic hub, PHILLRAVE.

Designed as a home for electronic music and contemporary club culture, PHILLRAVE brings together internationally recognised artists from across techno, acid, house and leftfield electronic scenes. Opening night sees Acid Arab, Daniel Avery and Erol Alkan set the tone, joined by Ison. On 18 July, the focus shifts to forward-facing club sounds with Sofia Kourtesis, HAAi, Bulgarian favourite KiNK and Raredub. The final night closes with Kelly Lee Owens, Pretty Girl, Swimming Paul and Liubo Ursiny, bringing the stage to a close with immersive, dance-led sets.

Alongside the new stage, PHILLGOOD has announced a further wave of artists across its already revealed programming, continuing to expand its musical scope. The festival’s growing international profile is reflected in its audience, with over 25% of tickets already sold outside Bulgaria, including attendees travelling from across Europe as well as Iceland, China, Mexico, Brazil and Kazakhstan, positioning Plovdiv firmly on the global summer festival map.

On the PHILLGOOD main stage, new additions join The Cure, Gorillaz, Moby and Wolf Alice. British indie mainstays The Subways arrive on 17 July with their high-energy live show and sharp guitar hooks. Son Lux take the stage on the final day, bringing their cinematic blend of electronics, post-rock and experimental composition, while Los Bitchos appear on 18 July with their vibrant, instrumental surf-exotica sound that has made them a consistent festival favourite.

PHILLCOOL continues to champion cult, modern and genre-defying artists. Highlights include a rare appearance from Bulgarian pioneers KLAS, marking 40 years on the country’s music scene, alongside contemporary acts such as Bulgarian Cartrader, Zhluch & Gena, Jin Monic, Lunikk and Hug or Handshake, offering a snapshot of Bulgaria’s current independent landscape.

FAITHLESS ANNOUNCE HUGE OPEN-AIR SHOW AT AN AERODROME IN MANCHESTER

Legendary electronic act Faithless are to play a major open-air live show at Barton Aerodrome, Manchester, on Friday 3 July 2026 as part of the newly launched Barton Live summer concert series.

The performance will see the iconic Faithless deliver a full live set in a rare large-scale outdoor setting that allows them to bring their iconic fusion of electronic energy, live instrumentation and emotionally charged songwriting to one of the North West’s most distinctive open-air venues. The famously powerful show will draw from a famous back catalogue that has defined dance music culture for three decades and includes era-spanning anthems such as ‘Insomnia,’ ‘God Is A DJ’ and ‘Salva Mea’.

For the Faithless show, Barton Aerodrome will be transformed with bespoke staging, immersive sound and lighting. It comes at a milestone period for Faithless, who have now been shaping the scene for 30 years and continue to excel after multiple UK Top 10 singles, six Top 5 albums, three UK Number Ones and global sales exceeding 20 million records. 

Formed in the mid-1990s and fresh off their latest critically acclaimed album Champion Sound, Faithless have long been one of the most influential and enduring acts in the scene thanks to their bridging of underground sounds and mainstream consciousness. Now fronted by founding members Sister Bliss and Rollo, the group continue to lead from the front as an unstoppable live force with a rare spirit and underlying message of unity that has always defined them. 

The Manchester date forms part of Barton Live, a new four-day open-air concert series launching this summer at Barton Aerodrome, Eccles. Designed as a curated run of major outdoor shows rather than a one-off event, the series positions the historic aerodrome as a new destination for large-scale live music in the North West with the likes of David Gray, Craig David presents and Electric Heart festival with The Fratellis, Scouting For Girls, The Feeling, The Hoosiers, Toploader and Dodgy all lined up.

New summer live music series Barton Live launches this July with four consecutive 5000 capacity open-air shows at Barton Aerodrome, Manchester. From Thursday 2 to Sunday 5 July 2026, the curated run brings together three major headline concerts and a full one day festival that establish Barton Aerodrome as a key outdoor live music destination for the North West and beyond. 

The series opens on Thursday 2 July with globally renowned British singer-songwriter and ‘Babylon’ hit maker  David Gray – Past & Present Tour, a show already on sale and nearing sell-out status.  On Friday 3 July, legendary electronic act Faithless lineup with a full live performance that features an iconic blend of electronic, dance and live instrumentation and many of their seminal hits from ‘Insomnia’ to ‘God Is A DJ.’ Saturday 4 July sees Craig David present TS5, bringing his evergreen and party-ready mix of garage, r&b and classic club anthems to the open air. The run concludes on Sunday 5 July with Electric Heart, a carefully curated indie celebration featuring fan-favourites The Fratellis, Scouting For Girls, The Feeling, The Hoosiers, Toploader and Dodgy.

Says the Barton Live promoter JBM Music, “Barton Live is about creating a proper summer run of live music at Barton Aerodrome, not just a one-off show. Bringing David Gray, Faithless, Craig David and Electric Heart together across four consecutive days gives audiences a genuine choice of world-class outdoor performances, all in one place.”

Located on Liverpool Road in Eccles, Barton Aerodrome is a large-scale outdoor venue with a proven track record of hosting multi-day live music events. The flat, grassed site will feature bespoke staging and immersive sound and lighting for authentic and unforgettable live music experiences, but with great on-site parking, handy public transport links and early evening finishes that make each one perfect for a wide audience including families and older children. 

Rather than presenting isolated one-off concerts, Barton Live is designed as a focused summer run that promises consistency and variety to the site across four nights. The series blends three standalone headline concerts with a full festival day, offering audiences multiple ways to experience live music at the same location. While included in the Barton Live programme, Electric Heart retains its own identity as an independent festival brand.

APPETITE ON THE FARM RETURNS TO ESSEX FOR 5TH EDITION AT KELVEDON HALL THIS AUGUST

New school house favourite Appetite On The Farm is back bigger than ever at the gorgeous Kelvedon Hall in Brentwood, Essex, on 29 and 30 August 2026. This much anticipated fifth edition is the most ambitious yet at the historic estate, with 20,000 people welcomed across several stages for one unforgettable August Bank Holiday weekend just 30 mins from London Liverpool Street Station. A broad mix of names across house, tech and garage will serve up a fresh soundtrack across the whole site. The lineup features legends, edgy breakout stars and artists essential to the Appetite sound: hyped contemporary tastemakers Luke Dean, Locky, Jamback and Omar+ have topped charts with their tunes and are in demand across Europe. 

Elsewhere, Dr Banana brings his playful, garage-rooted selections and deep UK lineage, while Dyed Soundorom and Laidlaw deliver refined, minimal cuts. Kirollus continues to emerge as one of house music’s most exciting new voices, sitting comfortably alongside the hypnotic low end techno of Traumer and the emotive, left-of-centre sounds of Saoirse and Shanti Celeste. 

Chunky, groove-led selectors Jamie Jones, Sidney Charles and baseline whizz Silva Bumpa add high-energy while legendary US pioneer Todd Edwards brings timeless garage foundations. Elsewhere, Kolter and MJ Cole represent two generations of dance music innovation, with Eliza Rose, Skream, and Appetite founders Elliott Schooling & Liam Palmer reinforcing the festival’s high quality and future-facing sound.

There will be six stages in all, each with its own identity and well curated programming including The Barn, The Clearing, The Forest, The Jam & Doughnut, The Stables and The Record Store, all reflecting the brand’s musical roots and forward-facing approach.

Beyond the music, the event will once again host the Appetite Food Market and a tasty selection of street food and spaces designed for socialising and downtime. The overall experience is rooted in a strong sense of community with a mix of open-air dancing, immersive musical settings and a welcoming, inclusive atmosphere.
