8 weeks till T in the Park, Professor Green, Chipmunk and more added
With only 58 days till T in the Park hits Balado, the promoters have added some of the best new urban acts on the planet to the already impressive lineup. Professor Green, Chipmunk, OFWGKTA, Labrinth and Wretch 32 will all be Balado bound for T in the Park this summer, taking to the festival’s stages across the weekend of 8th-10th July.

With the clock ticking down until Get Loaded in the Park unleashes itself on the festival circuit once again, we can now announce a further five artists to the already huge lineup. Added to the lineup is The Rifles, About Group, Connan Mockasin, Spector, and Six Nation State!
Big Audio Dynamite, Levellers and more for Beautiful Days Festival
Beautiful Days is the Levellers festival which takes place at Escot Park in the heart of Devon. 2011 will be the ninth Beautiful Days. It’s a family music festival with five stages, site art, a huge children’s area in the centre of the festival, comedy, theatre, family camping, licensed real ale bars from Otter Brewery & carefully selected food and craft stalls.

Sony Radio Academy Awards Winners
The gold, silver and bronze winners of the Sony Radio Academy Awards, the UK’s most prestigious radio accolades, were announced this evening at London’s Grosvenor House Hotel, hosted by Chris Evans.In addition to the 36 Award categories, the Academy bestowed the Special Award to legendary Annie Nightingale and The Gold Award to the inimitable Jenni Murray.

Feeder to headline Saturday night at Y Not Festival 2011
Alternative rock group Feeder are the third and final headline act to be announced for the Y Not Festival and will perform on the Saturday night. This latest addition completes the headline line up with The GO! Team headlining on Friday night and Maximo Park on Sunday night.
Rhythms of the World lineup additions
2011 marks the 20th Rhythms of the World festival. Held on Saturday 9th and Sunday 10th July, expect performances of music, dance (and a few surprises) across seven stages, as well as a Family Area, art displays and the new acoustic Icehouse Stage.
