Slam Dunk is a Rock, Alternative, Ska & Punk music festival that takes places across multiple locations in the UK.

2024 Lineup

Slam Dunk Festival’s 2024 headliners You Me At Six are hot on the heels of their eighth studio album, Truth Decay which shot to #4 on the UK album charts last year. And it seems only fitting that Slam Dunk is their final UK festival appearance as the band have been part of the Slam Dunk family for over 16 years, releasing their debut single on Slam Dunk Records in 2007 and in the same year performing their first-ever Slam Dunk Festival.  The band’s debut album ‘Take Off Your Colours’ was another Slam Dunk Records release, followed by a main stage slot at Slam Dunk Festival, both in 2008. By 2009, You Me At Six had secured Slam Dunk Festival headliner status, sharing the stage with huge names including Cobra Starship, Kids in Glass Houses, We The Kings, The Audition and many others, before returning in 2015 to headline yet again due to massive demand, sharing the stage with the likes of  Don Broco, Taking Back Sunday and Neck Deep. And in 2022, You Me At Six headlined their own shows, titled ’10 Years Of Sin’ using the Slam Dunk Festival sites, with support from The Hunna, Holding Absence and more. This year, they return for their final UK festival performance to headline Slam Dunk Festival 2024 – their 5th and final appearance at the festival which is not to be missed.

You Me At Six said, “We couldn’t think of a better place to perform our last festival appearance than the festival that first ever booked us. It’s going to be a full circle moment with raw & charged up emotion in abundance. We can’t wait.”

Adding to the excitement from across the pond is renowned American rock band, The Dangerous Summer. Taking influence from acts such as Bright Eyes, U2 and Phil Collins, the band have proven success over the years and guess what? Slam Dunk is the only place to see the band live this summer. Leeds’ very own Caskets, known for their intense metalcore sound, are set to ignite the stage once again at Slam Dunk. Since their memorable performance in 2022, where they wowed fans with their powerful energy and heavy-synth sounds, Caskets are seeing a massive rise in notoriety. Fresh from a US tour, next stop – Slam Dunk. Also joining the lineup is Brit metal band As Everything Unfolds. After an incredibly successful release of their second album, ‘Ultraviolet’ the band will make their Slam Dunk debut after rounding off their UK tour in March. As Everything Unfolds are a not-to-be missed act for the metalcore fans.

Hailed as ‘the new generation of Manchester hardcore’ Guilt Trip are known for pushing limits with their hardcore sound. The band aim to stand out from the scene, embracing that in their hit single ‘Sweet Dreams’ and set to showcase that, and more at Slam Dunk this summer. Canadian quartet, Arm’s Length also join this year’s bill. The emo, pop-punk band formed in 2019 and gained overnight success on TikTok, releasing their studio album ‘Never before Seen, Never Found Again’ in 2022 and now head to the UK to make their debut at the festival. There’s another Leeds band to join a long list of successors at Slam Dunk – Beauty School. The 5-piece band fuse a ‘diverse pool of influence to make eloquent emo-infused alt rock’. Their debut album ‘Happiness’ which blends a mix of emo, indie and alt-rock, is already a fan favourite, released with none other than Slam Dunk Records.

Today’s announcement completes the stratospheric Slam Dunk line up for this May, alongside the likes of The All American Rejects, I Prevail, Funeral For A Friend, The Interrupters, Waterparks, State Champs, Asking Alexandria, The Wonder Years, Mallory Knox and more.
