deadmau5, Nero and more join Ultra Europe 2016 lineup

Ultra Europe

With less than two and a half months until it kicks off, Europe’s ultimate summer paradise, Destination ULTRA – Croatia Music Week, is shaping up to be one for the record books as it announces a slew of celebrated acts set to perform across the week.

As part of ULTRA Europe’s Phase Two announcement, deadmau5, Nero and Rødhåd will join an already star-studded lineup set to play on the Dalmatian Coast this July, with all three mega acts performing at the festival for the first time. Additional Phase Two support comes from Adventure Club, Apollonia, Technasia, Thomas Jack and Vicetone. View the full Phase Two Lineup here.

The Destination ULTRA week has a real RESISTANCE™ feel to it this year, with things starting in style on Thursday, July 14 at the Giraffe Palm Beach House with a RESISTANCE™ themed Opening Party that will be headlined by UMEK and some of his 1605 Music Therapy label mates. View the Destination ULTRA Resistance™ Lineups here.

From July 15-17, the main event of the week, ULTRA Europe, takes over Split. The aforementioned Phase Two artists join an already stacked list of headliners that were announced for Phase One including (in alphabetical order) Above & Beyond, Adam Beyer, Afrojack, Alesso, Armin van Buuren, Carl Cox, Dash Berlin, David Guetta, Hardwell, Jamie Jones, Marco Carola, Martin Garrix, DJ Snake and Solomun, as the largest electronic festival in Croatian history looks to build ever further upon on its burgeoning reputation.

The momentous week continues with the ULTRA Yacht Regatta Party on July 18, where revelers will party at the Zlatni Rat Beach on Braç Island. Don Diablo and Robin Schulz take the reigns at ULTRA Beach the next day on July 19, with support from Sam Feldt, as Ultranauts head to the idyllic Island of Hvar. As Destination ULTRA – Croatia Music Week draws to a close, the festivities will finish on the beautiful island of Vis for the Official Resistance™ Closing Party on July 20, headlined by Hot Since 82 and Nic Fancuilli.

With early bird tickets sold out for the main event in Split already, revelers will have to act fast in order to snap up the remaining few at €169, before the price rises to €199. To help with the purchases, ULTRA Europe is now offering a payment plan, where fans can split the total cost across four monthly installments. In a new initiative for 2016, group tickets are also on sale, with those who purchase five tickets at once, receiving a sixth for free! All tickets are available to buy exclusively from ultraeurope.com/tickets.

London’s Found Festival announce first acts

Delving deeper than ever into club culture's grass-roots for the fourth edition of Found Festival, the 2016 lineup will unite leading figures of dance music from across the globe for the all-day festival at Brockwell Park, Brixton on Saturday 11th June.

Seminal figures of dance music join cutting-edge talents across six stages of music, as Found welcome music luminaries Derrick May and Kerri Chandler for the first time, to headline their Main Stage, alongside some of the hottest names in underground sounds as Dyed SoundoromMidland and Leon Vynehall each take control of the open-air arena. Live music sets will come from Sessions Victim and Paranoid London, with Willow and Found Series' much-admired residents The Menendez Brothers will welcome the early-risers to Brockwell Park.

Find Me In The Dark will offer an unrivalled programme of techno with Blawan and Surgeon headlining with their Trade moniker. Trade are joined by the tough and uncompromising sound of RødhådLegowelt's distinctive acid-tinged productions and blistering force from The Zenker Brothers, the bosses of the esteemed Ilian Tapes. The hefty deep layers of Kassem Mosse playing live will compliment the sharpness of Ron Morelli and Lobster Theremin stalwart Route 8 will spin a set of his trade-mark, melodic tracks. Copenhagen scenester Courtesy and Find Me In The Dark founder Asquith will be playing an opening sets.
Having stolen the show at last year's Found Festival, Chicago house originator Ron Trent will return for 2016 to play secretsundaze's arena alongside Theo Parrish and Detroit house royalty and 3 Chairs member Marcellus Pittman. Jazzy house maestro Linkwood will join the ranks alongside Mr Beatnick, plus secretsundaze's residents.

Art Of Dark bring a truly international lineup of forward-thinking sounds to the Brockwell Park all-dayer with a headline set from one-third of the RPR Soundsystem, Petre Inspirescu. Maayan Nidam and Vera Heindel will perform as Mara Tax and Binh will bring the sound of Berlin's underground scene, with supporting sets from Art of Dark favourite Francesco Del Garda and residents Colin Chiddle and Laurine

Bringing soulful sounds and rare grooves to Found Festival's lineup, Feelings have recruited house music icons Mood II Swing for one of their first UK shows in more than decade. Also making a rare UK appearance Wamdue Kids and Dream 2 Science join the billing alongside Maurice Fulton, representing an unmissable opportunity to see these 90s legends playing under one canvas.

Representing the next wave of producers and brining fresh sounds to Feelings' arena, Pender Street Steppers, Beautiful Swimmers, Daniel Wang and Kasra V will each take their turn behind the decks, with respected Feelings' residents Ryan, Gustave and Karl getting things warmed up.

In a move back to the egalitarian roots of dance music culture, there will be no VIP area at Found Festival 2016, with festival-goers able to enjoy all six stages of music throughout the day.

Found Series are proud to partner with mental health charity Mind for their 2016 festival series.
