You will need to submit your entry on Sonic bids, all the submissions will be listened to and judged by worldwide promoters, Jim King, RockNess Festival Director, Dave Pichilingi, Liverpool & Dubai Sound City Festival Director and Goldenvoice Promoters Simon Jones and Carlo Scarampi. 20 handpicked finalists will then have their tracks available for RockNess fans to listen to from Monday 30th May and open for the public vote from Monday 6th June. The 20 finalists will ALL perform at RockNess 2011 on the RockNess Sound City Stage, where our esteemed panel of judges will watch their performances and RockNess fans will be able to vote for their favourite act of the weekend. Public voting will finish on Wednesday 15th June, the numbers will be taken into consideration alongside the opinions of the judges and the winner of this amazing prize will be announced on the 16th June 2011. The winner will then receive profile promotion through the RockNess communities and a support slot on a Goldenvoice tour in the 12 months following the festival. Not only this, but the winning artist will get to perform again at RockNess 2012 in the Goldenvoice Arena.

A special and rare appearance by the award-wining visionary Chris Cunningham is today confirmed for The Big Chill 2011. Cult film-maker, musician, photographer and producer Chris Cunningham is responsible for some of the most iconic music videos ever made, amongst a myriad of other accomplishments. He has been dubbed ‘Dangerously ahead of his time’ by The Guardian and ‘A startlingly original visual artist’ by The Telegraph. On the back of a sold out show at the Royal Festival Hall in May last year and recent collaborations with Gil Scott-Heron and Grace Jones, Cunningham returns to the stage this summer. He will be closing the Deer Park Stage on Sunday, following the set by headliners Rodrigo y Gabriela. Cunningham will create a sight and sound spectacular, bringing The Big Chill to a close in true style.
New additions to the Flow Festival line up include the British New Wave legends The Human League, plus The Battles, Jamie Woon, and About Group, which is the latest project of Hot Chip vocalist Alexis Taylor.
