Chase & Status, Example and more for Cornwall’s Summer Break

Annie MacManus aka Radio 1 icon, Annie Mac will be on hand to make sure Summer Break-goers will be dancing into the early hours as she pumps out her usual hard hitting electronic mixes, while Sub Focus, fresh from touring with Pendulum, will be treating the Summer Break thousands to some stunningly mixed deep beats and drum ‘n’ bass melodies.

Described as “one of the world’s most energetic and entertaining DJs” (Mixmag) there is no wonder that music fans travel the world to hear Kissy Sell Out perform and he will be taking to the stage this year at Summer Break. After storming onto the UK charts with “Original Nuttah” in 1994, Shy FX has gone from strength to strength, attracting fans across the continents and Summer Break welcomes the star to this year’s party.

Elliot John Gleave otherwise known as Example will be adding another dimension to the Summer Break line-up, with another great album expected this year to follow the pleasing “Won’t Go Quietly”. The dancefloor sensation, Freestylers, will be bringing their fast moving, electro-rocking monster to example2011s Summer Break, while Brighton-based Krafty Kuts will be heading down to Cornwall this summer, offering yet more phenomenal sounds through his unique blend of breakbeat, funk and hip-hop. UK Chart success, Nero, completes the current line up for Summer Break, bringing the hugely successful dubstep tunes to the Newquay beach. With more acts to be announced this 96 hour party is the only beach to be on this festival season.

Summer Break is the only way to celebrate the end of exams and the official start of the summer. Having provided the perfect setting and line-up since 2005, 2011 is set to be the best yet. Providing 96 hours of party time for UK students and set on a private beach in Cornwall offering a private student village of caravans, Summer Break is the ultimate party destination for students across the nation.
