Pete has an astounding flair to break new talent; he’s helped kick start the careers of hundreds of artists, giving them the infamous ‘Pete Tong Push’. Since the release of his artistically brilliant album ‘1977’ on Kompakt last June, the electronic world has been in admiration of one of its fastest rising stars, Kölsch. Following superb recent performances at the Bugged Out Weekender and Snowbombing, plus his inaugural headline UK tour, the Dane has set himself up to become one of 2014’s most exciting artists. Fittingly described as romantic techno, Kölsch’s melodic anthems have gained a vast amount of support from the world’s leading talent. Having kicked off the year in fine form by launching BBC Radio 1’s Essential Mix Future Stars series, it’s clear that 2014 is the year of Kölsch.

Another artist that will join us at South West Four for the first time in 2014 is Shadow Child.
