Liverpool International Music Festival

Liverpool International Music Festival, formerly known as the Liverpool Mathew Street Music Festival, is an event held annually at Sefton Park in Liverpool. It takes place every summer and was Europe’s largest free music event, although since 2018 it has become a paid, ticketed event.

2018 Lineup Details

The Liverpool International Music Festival (LIMF) returns in 2018, taking place on July 21st and 22nd. LIMF is a grand-scale celebration of Liverpool’s rich musical history, diversity and continued relevance, reflected in the 10 year anniversary of the awarded title as European City of Culture.

LIMF returns for a two day musical extravaganza at Sefton Park with a tantalising line-up including Haçienda Classiçal, Basement Jaxx, Wiley, Example & DJ Wire, Jax Jones (live), Stefflon Don, Aurora, Young Fathers, Rae Morris, DJ Jazzy Jeff, Trevor Nelson, Gilles Peterson, Jazzie B and more. LIMF tickets start at £5 a day for general admission and £15 for VIP. Under 11’s go free.
