The Jubilee Family Festival details

 

Myleene Klass and Jon Culshaw, celebrity hosts of ‘The Jubilee Family Festival Presented by Sainsbury’s’, today launched the ballot for 1000s of free family tickets to this two day fun-filled family Jubilee celebration on Saturday 2 June and Sunday 3 June in London’s Hyde Park.  From today, millions of Sainsbury’s customers can enter the ballot for a free family ticket worth £52 by going to one of their 1000 participating stores and spending over £60 in store. The exciting, unique and action-packed programme for the ‘The Jubilee Family Festival Presented by Sainsbury’s’ is the hot ticket for families coming to London to join in the Jubilee celebrations.  On the main stage, Festival highlights include a newly created 70 minute spectacular, ‘The Magic of Disney in Concert’, the first ever performance at a festival of the BBC’s Strictly Come Dancing, and an adapted appearance of War Horse,the award-winning National Theatre production. There is a Kids Zone with favourite kids television characters, a Commonwealth Stage with artists from around the globe, a Parade Ground with military bands, and displays by dogs, horses, motorcyles and parachutists.  Sainsbury’s has also teamed up with some of Britain’s best-loved brands who will be an integral part of the family fun and entertainment.

I’m honoured to be part of the Jubilee Family Festival and to share the hosting duties with the stunning Myleene Klass.  This unique event has more faces than I do and will be a brilliant way of keeping the family entertained in London for the Jubilee Festivities.

Sainsbury’s also announced this week its partnership with The Queen’s Diamond Jubilee Beacons. Beacon lightings will take place across the country on Monday 4th June, as part of the celebrations planned by Buckingham Palace for the Jubilee weekend.  Over 2012 beacons will be lit between 10pm and 10.30pm on Monday 4th June.

Ticket Ballot:

From 28 March until 21 April, millions of Sainsbury’s customers will be able to enter a daily ballot for free family tickets.  Customers who spend £60 in store will receive a coupon at the till with a code to enter into the Sainsbury’s website.  Within 24 hours families will be notified if they have won a family ticket.
