Strummercamp announce New Model Army as headliner

 

In their 31st year, with 13 albums to their name, New Model Army still possess an insatiable creative ambition. As one of the Amigo’s favourite bands this promises to be one of the best closing nights Strummercamp Festival has seen.

Strummercamp Festival 2012 details

Strummercamp takes place from the 1st – 3rd June 2012.

Building on the success of teaming up with Manchester punk label TNSrecords and Leeds underground promoter Hempen Jig last year, Strummercamp in 2012 will also welcome Manchester’s Punx inna Jungle and Slit Promotions to the family. This promises to bring even more quality and diversity to the festival, increasing the number of stages to 5.

The headliners will be announced through the website over the next couple of months. Previous bands at the festival have included; Billy Bragg, The Selecter, Geno Washington, The Blockheads, The King Blues, The Beat, The Skints, Sham 69, Neville Staple, Hugh Cornwell, The Popes, Random Hand, Sonic Boom Six, the Stupids, Goldblade, UK Subs, The Grit, Chief, Pama International and many ,many more…

Strummercamp remains a completely volunteer run independent festival which is continuing to grow.
