Goldfish, I Am Giant and more added to Southern Sounds lineup

Goldfish are an electronic dance music group hailing from Cape Town, South Africa. Consisting of Dominic Peters and David Poole, they create dance music containing elements of jazz and African music, combining live instruments like double bass, saxophones, keyboards, flute, and vocals with samplers, effects and synths. They have played alongside many international acts including Basement Jaxx, Faithless and Fatboy Slim. In 2008 they were nominated for Best Alternative act at the MTV Africa Music Awards and followed this up in 2009 by setting a new South African Music Awards record for most nominations (8), including Best Group and Album of the Year, clinching Best Producer and Best Dance Album.

I Am Giant are London based New Zealanders Shelton Woolright, Paul Matthews, Aja Timu and Brit, Ed Martin. Drummer Shelton Woolright is formerly from critically acclaimed triple platinum band Blindspott, one of New Zealand’s most successful rock bands to date.
