T Break Stage lines up 16 of Scotland’s hottest acts for T in the Park

The T Break judging panel, made up of 13 the most highly respected music industry professionals in the country, have been busy pouring over more than 1,000 demos of the freshest unsigned artists in Scotland since the call for entries closed on 11th April.  Demos came in from all corners of the nation and with genres ranging from Raggle Taggle to Dark Wave, the judges undoubtedly had the hardest task of T Break’s 15 year history.

The following 16 acts have been chosen by the judges to rock the T Break Stage this summer, joining a knock out T in the Park bill which includes Arctic Monkeys, Coldplay, Foo Fighters, The Strokes, Beyoncé, Pulp, The Script, Plan B, Slash, Tinie Tempah, Tom Jones, Jessie J and many more.

George Kyle, Head of Sponsorship at Tennent’s Lager says: “The competition this year has been outstanding and really reflects what’s going on in Scotland’s grassroots music scene.  Yet again we’re so proud to be supporting these new artists by giving them such a great platform to perform and boost their music careers, sharing a bill with some of the best homegrown and international headliners on the planet.”

Dave McGeachan at DF Concerts says: “The final line up is looking fantastic, with a great musical variety and lots of different genres.  These 16 acts represent the most exciting new Scottish music around and I can’t wait to see them take to the stage at T in the Park”.

Jim Gellatly, presenter of In:Demand Uncut said: “Again a very high quality of entry, which made the task of selecting a final 16 all the more difficult. There are a bunch of acts that didn’t even make the final cut that I’ll be following up for future airplay on In:Demand Uncut. Yet again T Break has shown the incredible wealth of new talent our country has to offer.”
