Held over three days (22nd -24th July 2011) the event showcases a diverse array of music genres and world instruments and is expanding its range again this year.
Just walking around the site you can hear didgeridoo, mbira and samba. Taiko, hang, djembe, dhol, cajon and tongue drums. Overtone singing and human beat-boxing. Native American flute, jaw harp, gong, singing bowl, ocarina, and of course a wide selection of more familiar instruments.
So…. if you’re up for hearing afro-beat, bhangra, latin, reggae, folk, rock, blues, klezmer, world fusion, electronica, dub, hip hop and the completely undefinable all on stage during an evening this festival is for you.
