Clubbing TV to host their 5th edition of their Music Video Awards

Clubbing TV to host their 5th edition of their Music Video Awards

The event shall take place on on Saturday 25th March…

Looking back at our previous editions, Clubbing TV is very proud to have established a way to celebrate and congratulate the music video producers. Back in the days, music videos were a must do for the artists from all music genres and the creativity behind them never ceased to amaze us when premiered on television. The electronic music scene, is no exception to it and not devoid of imaginativeness and originality.

For this 5th edition, Clubbing TV wants to put the emphasis back on the art form of music video creation in the dance music industry. Let’s celebrate the producers, the video directors, the graphic designers and all the tech crews behind those dazzling videos.

To celebrate our 5th anniversary, we have added one new category, Best after movie, and changed the award that will be sent to the lucky winners.

ARTBAT, David Guetta & Idris Elba combine for “It’s Ours” on UPPERGROUND

As ARTBAT’s imprint UPPERGROUND reaches its sixth release, the Ukrainian duo release their collaboration with one of the biggest names in dance music, two time Grammy Award winning artist David Guetta, and the highly influential and popular DJ, producer and actor Idris Elba, to create the authoritative and euphoric track ‘It’s Ours’.

ARTBAT have been showcasing their emotive brand of melodic house & techno around the globe this summer, taking in performances at Tomorrowland, Coachella, Exit Festival and more. Another highlight of this summer was when they performed an exclusive back to back session with David Guetta in July at the French DJs massively popular ‘Future Rave’ night at Hi Ibiza.

David Guetta’s ‘Future Rave’ movement began back in 2019, with him creating his blend of dark and electrifying techno and progressive house, which has served as an entry point for many of his fan base to delve deeper into the world of underground dance music and explore new sounds, which when seeing the crowds at the event, has clearly been a huge success.

Equally at Hi Ibiza on Friday night this summer, 7 Wallace label owner Idris Elba has been packing the Club Room each and every week, enthralling clubbers with his raw and energetic, bass line driven house music, which has complimented perfectly with the darker sounds of the Theatre room. The English artist has been serving a slew of dance floor weapons including notable tracks such as Body Shots, Biggest and On Life, which was also remixed by David Guetta under his Jack Back alias.

This is the first time a mega pop star, an actor and underground artists, from three very different sounding genres, have done such a collaboration, and you may ask yourself, how is this record going to sound? Between them all, they have created a quintessential hypnotic melodic techno track titled ‘It’s Ours’. A track powered by a sense of pious energy, using immense soundscapes and an unforgettable synth riff to encapsulate the crowd, before Elba’s inimitable and iconic voice conveys a message of freedom, energy, and thoughts that everything around that belongs to whole universe in the breakdown to bring unity and rapture for those listening on the dance floor.

Sven Väth to curate exhibition at opening of Museum of Modern Electronic Music (MOMEM) in 2022

Website: https://www.museumsufer.de/

On 6th April, 2022 the Museum of Modern Electronic Music (MOMEM) will be ceremoniously opened in Frankfurt. Located directly in the heart of the main city at the Hauptwache, the museum will present the exhibition “Sven Väth – It’s simple to tell what saved us from hell”; a collaboration between close friends Sven Väth and Tobias Rehberger.

“There is no better opening exhibition for MOMEM, because Sven Väth and Tobias Rehberger have each, in their own way, taken electronic music culture from Frankfurt to the world” Alex Azary, director of MOMEM, is pleased to say.

Together, DJ and electronic art producer Väth and visual artist Rehberger are now curating MOMEM’s opening exhibition, in which they will jointly explore Sven Väth’s private archive. The records, photographs, flyers, films, sounds, and Väth’s private art collection form the centre and starting point of this journey into the shared past of electronic music culture since the late 1980s.

A very personal view of this most important piece of cultural history emerges, in which electronic music culture formed socially in a few European cities such as Berlin, London, Manchester and, of course, Frankfurt am Main, and from there began its triumphal march around the world. “We are very much looking forward to working together on this exhibition and are ourselves excited to see where this joint journey will take us”, Sven Väth and Tobias Rehberger show themselves joyfully motivated.
The opening of the MOMEM, which is dedicated to the documentation, processing and switching of this cultural history of electronic music, will be celebrated naturally with a large public party with Sven Väth on 08.04.2021

The Hauptwache will become an extraordinary open-air venue with MOMEM at its centre, and the museum will also provide a spectacular impulse for the further development of Frankfurt’s city centre. This would not have been possible without the great support of the City of Frankfurt and Mayor Peter Feldmann, who, in turn, honoured both Sven Väth and Tobias Rehberger with the Goethe Plaque.

About Sven Väth

Sven Väth was born in 1964 in Offenbach am Main and made his first experiences as a DJ in his parents’ dance club. In 1982, the 18-year-old Sven Väth became a DJ at the legendary discotheque Dorian Gray in Frankfurt Airport and became an international pop star between 1985 and 1987 with the project OFF and the single Electrica Salsa. After a break, he opened Omen, one of the most important German techno clubs of the 1990s, and runs the pioneering labels Eye Q Records, Harthouse and Recycle or Die.

As a DJ, Väth has toured the globe ever since. In 1997, Sven Väth founded the Cocoon party series, which conquered all of Europe from Frankfurt and shaped party life in Ibiza for over 20 years. The party series was expanded to include a label and a booking agency before Sven Väth opened the Cocoon Club on July 18, 2004, a lavishly designed party location in Frankfurt that was to set new accents in terms of interior, sound system and gastronomy. In 2016, Väth was honoured with the “Goetheplakette” of the city of Frankfurt and in 2021 looks back on a 40-year career, which is also the reason for the exhibition at MOMEM. Sven Väth’s 14th studio album “Catharsis” will be released in spring 2022, accompanied by an extensive world tour.

Title: Don’t Stop

Cat.Number: MOTHER133
Release Date: 19th November 2021

Tracklist:
1) Don’t Stop

Don’t Stop is the brand new tune from Denis Ago on Berlin’s most cherished party label, Mother Recordings. In a short time this artist has become part of the underground scene thanks to his fine grasp of house, tech and minimal on labels like Habitat and Toolroom. Now he shows why.

Don’t Stop is the sort of full flavour house cut to get any club going. The fat synth bass props up the squelchy beats, while rising chords bring the colour. What really finishes it off in style though is the vocal – the steamy, soulful female coos up top that will get hands in the air and smiles on faces.

This is another classy tune from all.

The unique platform is now the largest supplier of royalty free dance music limited to one copy, and is providing vital ways for producers to monetise their work in essential new ways.

In recent weeks, producers have had more time to make music, and making music is a welcome creative outlet in these difficult times. Well-known names are making more music as well. Unable to perform at festivals and events, they’re discovering that they’re able to generate a good income through House of Tracks.

Because of this, in the last few weeks House of Tracks’s offering has increased 85%. It turns out people do need music after all. What they provide is royalty-free electronic dance music, created by talented producers from all over the world. What began six years ago as a ghost producer platform that mainly served DJs has grown into a worldwide supplier of royalty-free music for various industries. The gaming industry, advertising agencies, YouTubers, video editors and program makers have all found their way to the platform. Talented producers, from ambitious boys and girls in their attics to established names with their own studios use House of Tracks to sell their music.

Music can be used for DJs and producers, YouTubers, the gaming industry,  advertising, festival anthems, ghost producing, and even for movies and TV series. All tracks are checked by hand and finger printed (identified and matched by DJ monitors and its database with over 80 million tracks). All producers have to be approved through auditioning in order to start selling their tracks on House of Tracks. With that quality assurance process, producers are carefully screened so you can always be sure of high quality, unique tracks that are all limited to one copy.
