This year we are celebrating our fifth birthday and it's with pure glee that we announce some huge players in the music scene are coming to join us. From bad boy Mercury Music prize winner to cult Americana sensation from the Catskill Mountains.
We are all in for some extra special birthday treats this year at Jelly 2012. Along side the massive acts, performance, interactive games, kids workshops, film, food and walkabouts you will find a number of other escapades at the Jelly house party to keep everyone wobbling along with a big smile.
All spread out over 8 acres the Jelly wonderland has a living room, bedroom, playroom, rumpus room, observatory, kitchen and summer house. Each allocated to a different stage or area within the festival. Come spoon in some fun and discover this unique party for yourself.
Mike Posner, Natalia Kills and StooShe join the sensational line-up on Friday 1 July, headlined by global superstars The Black Eyed Peas (this will be their only UK festival performance), with other acts including Plan B, Tinie Tempah, David Guetta and Bruno Mars.
Alex Metric, Alpines and Luke Bingham will join dance pioneers The Chemical Brothers on Saturday 2 July, a day which also boasts Chase & Status, Aphex Twin, The Streets and Janelle Monáe.
The Hives, Yuck and Vintage Trouble will join headliners Pulp along with the likes of Grace Jones, TV On The Radio and Foals on Sunday 3 July. Swedish garage rock group The Hives first garnered attention in the early 2000’s as leaders of the garage rock revival. With hits including the infectious ‘Hate to Say I Told You So’ and ‘Main Offender’ they’re guaranteed to give a must-see performance.
