During its live stream from Corum’s rooftop broadcasted in April, festival director & international DJ Tom Pooks announced there would be several events this summer to celebrate the festival turning 10 years old and skipping the possible capacity restrictions due to Covid-19.

Octan Ibiza has spent the many months of Covid-closure working hard to refurbish its famous open-air Terrace, as well as planning a big return to dancing once restrictions are lifted later this summer.
There is already a big programme in place for as soon as the club opens. As usual, you can expect that the world’s best house and techno DJs will play, with line-ups coming as soon as restrictions are lifted and the Ibiza government makes a full announcement of their plans.
In 2019, the brand new Octan quickly established itself as a White Island favourite for those looking for a more underground experience. It boasted a first-ever weekly Apollonia residency with Planet Claire as well as parties like Steve Lawler’s Warriors. With a bold exterior featuring expressive artwork that immediately stands apart, the club has three spaces – The Lab, The Basement and The Terrace.
The Terrace has been refurbished and repainted in the last year. It now boasts a central 25m square bar that makes it much easier to order drinks. It also brings everyone together in the middle of the terrace for an extra cosy vibe and lively atmosphere beneath a clear-blue Ibiza sky. The walls are adorned with colourful designs from acclaimed Leeds artist Nicholas Dixon, and also contain the hustle and bustle of the crowd who will be chilling and drinking outside. There is now also a large seating area with some suspended shade from the beating sun, just in case you need to take a break from the main action.
Meanwhile, the club’s Basement is the perfect underground space for those who like it dark and raw. It has low ceilings and a world-class sound system with sleek and stripped back styling. The Lab is the third and final space with its own low key and immersive lighting making it an atmospheric space of pure hedonism. Winter will see the Basement and Lab spaces get further updates ready for a big comeback and full capacity parties from May – October 2022.
Cambridgeshire’s picturesque Chippenham Park is set to be transformed into a cultural and colourful wonderland on Saturday 31st July and Sunday 1st August 2021 as Hifields Festival unveils its biggest and best line-up yet at an all new venue. World class headliners including Terry Farley, Wilkinson, Will Taylor, DJ Luck & MC Neat, Jaguar Skills, Nicky Blackmarket, Scouting For Girls, Solardo, Prospa, Artful Dodger and more line up with 50 up and coming local stars to play spectacularly designed stages and arenas with unique décor, huge art installations, a circus, a fairground and a fully stocked food park.
Hifields has developed into a nationally renowned two-day festival, curated by music lovers for music lovers with 6000 people expected in 2021. It is a festival that strives to be green with reusable cups for drinks, shuttle buses from local towns and train stations, green generators, and recycling where possible. This year it’s at all new location Chippenham Park with rolling green meadows, a beautiful lake and plenty of natural British countryside vibes.

Drum n Bass heavyweight Wilkinson supported by Metrik and Crissy Criss will be sure to shut down the Warning Big Top whilst Tech House will be served up by Will Taylor, Sam Supplier, Marcellus and Riaz Dhanani from the Treasure Zest.
The Sunday will see performances from singalong kings Scouting For Girls who will be supported by folk legend Beans On Toast, The Fillers and Trials of Cato, whilst over in the Big Top the Raver Tots team will provide entertainment for the younger generation featuring Jaguar Skills, DJ Archie and Nicky Blackmarket. Old-School House OG’s Danny Clockwork and Terry Farley will keep things moving by the lake.

OnePlan announced today it has raised $3.8M in Series A financing from investors in the UK and U.S.. The two-year-old startup streamlines the design and production process through the world’s best selection of 2D, 3D, satellite and aerial maps, providing real-time collaboration. For venue owners, it unlocks huge operational and commercial benefits through a hyper-realistic, fly-through-able Venue Twin of any stadium or arena. Clients using OnePlan include Arsenal F.C., ChelseaF.C. and the Brooklyn Nets, and Commonwealth Stadium in Edmonton, Canada. Over 2000 events across 50 countries have used OnePlan, which is seen as a single source of truth for planners.

The team first formed the festival in 2019 and after big plans for a launch event, COVID struck and everything was on hold. Rather than hang around, though, the team saw it as a chance to go big and so they secured this exclusive 5000 capacity site in a forest, 20 minutes outside of Liverpool with strong access links to the cities, including both train stations and bus stops within striking distance of the entrance and extensive car parking facilities. As Ibiza is added to the safe travel list, Amnesia continues to announce its much anticipated season in reverse. Next up is Pyramid’s sure-to-be historic 2021 closing party on Sunday, October 10th. In just a few short years, Pyramid has shaken up the Ibiza landscape. The Monday night party moved to Sundays in 2020 with some mega line-ups that sadly never came to be. But before that, it had already recaptured some of the island’s early glory days with a focus on the music first and foremost. At Pyramid, people are there to dance until the sun comes up and beyond. Fittingly, then, the world’s most iconic DJs will headline the famous Terraza. Ricardo Villalobos and Luciano have already sold out their show at Cova Santa, and are official Pyramid ambassadors. They will play together for a set of mind-warping techno that will show off the dexterous DJ skills and unpredictable selections that have made them real Pyramid favourites. Joining them is Bulgarian live wizard KiNK, who cooks up electrifying sets of impromptu techno on his vast array of synths and drum machines. It is one of dance music’s most amazing spectacles and cannot be missed. Lastly comes Mar-T, the long-time Amnesia resident, a DJ who knows the club’s crowds and sounds inside out, and who never fails to amaze.
In the Club is new school techno queen Nina Kraviz. The DJ, producer and Trip label boss has innovated the techno world in recent years and can do anything from deep, pulsing, acid-laced rollers to raved-up sounds that leave the dance floor in awe. Dax J is a London-born, Berlin-based artist who is the quintessential DJ in every sense. The Monnom Black label boss has a famously raw and individual take on techno that never lets up. Meanwhile, Anetha is a Parisian techno mainstay and Blocaus resident who has risen to the top with her forward thinking sounds. Lastly, Italian Luca Donzell is of course the second Amnesia resident known the world over for lighting up the world-famous super club with his storytelling sets of house and techno.
The Pyramid closing party is one of the real must-attend events in Ibiza. After the 18 months everyone has had, this one is set to be even more special than ever before.

One World Festival will make history as the first-ever event in a brand new location set in 1200 acres of rolling green landscape in the outskirts of London inside the M25. Every single detail of this debut festival has been painstakingly designed to make for the perfect musical experience. One World Festival was born from the fallout following the demise of the live event industry during the Covid 19 pandemic. A key mantra for One World Festival is to support the emerging industry wherever possible. Helping artists and brands on their own journeys is a key part of that. The underground and upcoming scene is the lifeblood of the industry, and One World is setting out to support it at every turn, with each of the five stages featuring a carefully curated line-up comprising some of the very best DJs and producers in house, tech house and UKG, as well as a considered selection of up-and-coming artists.
