Guilfest Festival 2014 Preview

Guilfest is back! – After a year out, the Guildford Festival has returned to Stoke Park on the 18th/19th/20th July 2014 thanks to the mass public petitioning to the council for its return and the festival Director Tony Scott and his enthusiastic team overcoming the misfortunes of 2013.

Now in its 22nd year the organisers have listened to what people want and have moved on from their Folk and Blues background and can now boast to have one of the best family festivals in the country showing a variety of talent from Rock to Dance, Punk to Pop, Hip hop to X Factor as well as comedy, theatre and kids zones.

This year Guilfest boasts a variety of music stages with the big headliners being The Boomtown Rats,  Kool and the Gang and The Human League.

Guilfest has been constantly voted for as Best Family festival by the fans and with the completely eclectic line up there is music for every taste and a superb social gathering.

Guilfest will host a variety of summer entertainment around the site over the weekend for dance tents, arts and crafts, theatre, comedy, food from all over the world and boasting a 150ft bar.

With easy travel arrangements and beautiful surroundings, Guilfest is proving to be the come-back of the year, bigger, better stronger. Keep an eye on this one as going to be a must for bands as well as fans for the future summers vibes.
