Demonstrating why it’s one of the UK’s best-loved independent festivals, Standon Calling 2012 adds yet more to its exciting lineup, and firmly establishing itself as a don’t miss event, bursting at the seams with things to do and see.

Starting the ball rolling with the announcement of the three headliners for this August’s event, Standon Calling 2012 demonstrates just why it’s one of the UK’s best-loved independent festivals. 

Former drug smugglers, pin-up poets, a Literary Death Match, a kissing seminar, a giant game of Twister and more than 25 authors, comedians and other performers will be appearing in the Under Covers Literary Lounge at Standon Calling.

Things are heating up at Standon Calling HQ as 50 critically acclaimed acts are added to this years festival, which features the biggest dance line-up yet!

Just added to the monstrous list of must-see artists are Hercules and Love Affair, Howard Marks, John Grant, Hypnotic Brass Ensemble, Dan le Sac, Broken Records, Egyptian Hip Hop and more than 30 other new names.

After selling out of early bird tickets in record time, Standon Calling is set for its biggest year yet and is delighted to make its first line-up announcement! This year's theme is Gods & Monsters, which will be reflected across the entertainment, stages, site and costumes at the UK's hottest small festival.
