With this year’s V Festival, sponsored by Virgin Media, proving once again to be one of the summer’s hottest tickets, festival fans are being given the chance to get their hands on tickets for V Festival 2012 early – and at 2011’s prices.

V Festival, sponsored by Virgin Media, today reveals 90’s pop sensation Hanson to the 2011 line up. The band of brothers has enjoyed a recent revival and will be hitting the Big Blue Tent (NAME TBC) with brand new material and a more mature sound.

As we head straight into festival season, we have some great lineup news about V Festival.  Added to this years already massive lineup is Ziggy Marley, D12, Kassidy, The Knux, Twenty Twenty, Slaughterhouse, Big Country and Aloe Blacc!

An onslaught of V Festival fans took to official ticketing websites this morning and snapped up tickets quick and fast.  With headliners Eminem, Arctic Monkeys, Rihanna and more announed earlier this week, V is set to rock Weston Park in Staffordshire and Hylands Park in Chelmsford

Great news this morning in from V Festival HQ.  Headlining this years V Festival will be none other than Detroit hiphop superstar Eminem who comes right off the back of his massive Recovery album.  Joining him will be the Arctic Monkeys.

The 15th annual V Festival, sponsored by Virgin Media, closed tonight from Chelmsford with an incredible set from the Kings Of Leon on the V stage, opening with new material that the crowd clearly endorsed. The sun went down with the 85,000 strong crowd at the southern leg singing along with Kelly from the Stereophonics. At Weston Park, Kasabian delighted crowds with a show of a lifetime playing all the favourites plus Salt ‘n’ Pepa’s classic 80’s hit ‘Push It’ – definitely not a warm up for the closing show tomorrow!
