With the beast of Arcadia cementing its roots in Boomtown for this year’s festival; we can now reveal the first batch of acts confirmed on the monstrous line up.

Strange scenes have been unfolding during this sleepy winter in BoomTown. A monstrous mechanical beast known as Arcadia Spectacular has crash-landed and seized a whole area of downtown BoomTown!

Boomtown Fair has announced it will be giving at least two unsigned bands and acts the chance to play their 2012 event as part of the Live & Unsigned 2012 competition!

The Boomtown mayor is releasing a limited amount of bargain basement Super Early Bird tickets at £85, going on sale at 7pm TODAY! The 2012 instalment of the genre defying, reality expanding, escapist experience that is Boomtown Fair will take place on 9th – 12th August

Boomtown Fair have bagged an exclusive UK festival first and confirmed the ruling voice of dancehall Capleton will headline the Reggae Stage (Lions Den) on Sunday night. Also added to the Lion’s Den is larger than life, nine piece, roots-reggae outfit, Gentlemen’s Dub Club on Saturday night.

After announcing the poker-hot dance stage line up Boomtown Fair are whirling like the proverbial dervish to shout about the first headline acts! Gogol Bordello will be gracing the winding streets of Boomtown with their circus style cabaret show and high octane gypsy punk alongside French electro swing supremo’s Caravan Palace both set to top the bill on the mainstage.

The Boomtown Fair carnival is pulling into town, landing into 2011 with intrepid new areas, earlier Thursday opening and ticket deals ahead of this summer’s most theatrical festival. Following last year's sell-out show, Boomtown Fair is shaping up to be this season’s hot ticket for sunshine skanking and mind blowing bass in an alternative setting.
