We can revel that Sunday nights headliner at this years Camp Bestival is Happy Monday's.  They will join the previously announced Friday night headliners Hot Chip, and Saturdays Earth Wind and Fire experience featuring Al Mckay.

Camp Bestival takes place over the weekend of July 26th - 29th with Hot Chip set to headline Friday night.  Camp Bestival will be hosting its own Olympics with a number of events taking place over the weekend.

Jo Whiley was at Camp Bestival with her family hosting the first ever Persil Pass on the Love Picnic. She was encouraging mums and their children to bring along their once-loved but now forgotten soft toys to pass on to another child to love or donate to Oxfam. The stand was a huge success with thousands of children joining in the fun!

With just over three weeks to go until we descend upon the magical Lulworth Castle on Dorset’s dramatic Jurassic coast for a whole weekend of frolicsome Camp Bestival fun, we’re super-excited at Camp Bestival HQ to announce that Kids TV legends Dick and Dom will be joining this year’s bill!

Teddy bears invited to Camp Bestival as mum Jo Whiley launches a summer of 'Persil Pass on the Love' Picnics.  Children will be able to bring in their old once loved teddy bears and will be able to swap them with other kids teddy bears.

Camp Bestival 2011, which takes place between 28-31 July at the picturesque Lulworth Castle in Dorset, is shaping up to be a total rip-roarer, even surpassing our last two Best Family Festival award winning shows. Headline sets from Primal Scream Presents Screamadelica, Blondie and Mark Ronson and the Business INTL.

We can now announce that Primal Scream have been confirmed as the headliners for Camp Bestival's Sunday night.  They will be playing their seminal album 'Screamadelica' in its entirety and will make for an epic last nite at Camp Bestival.

Brit Award winning artist Laura Marling has been announced as a special guest for this years Camp Bestival.  Other artist announcements include Labrinth, Gentleman's Dub Club, Yasmin, Yaaks, Modestep, Jaguar Skills and more.

Ticketline has now completely sold out but worry not if you've missed out on the jam-packed jamboree as there will be a very limited number of weekend camping tickets available at the box offices at Lulworth Castle to beat any ticket touts who think they can pull a fast one over the Camp Bestival faithful. There will also be a very small number of day tickets available on sale for locals with BH and DT postcodes (proof required). All tickets available from Lulworth Castle and the box offices are on a first come first served basis, so don't delay.

With just over a week to go until Camp Bestival returns to Lulworth Castle you can now buy our very own mobile app to keep you up to date with everything happening on site.
