The South Tyneside Summer Festival is one of the biggest free festivals in the UK offering three months of live music and entertainment for all the family.  With Joe McElderry and Sophie Ellis Bextor confirmed to perform, thousands of people are expected to flock to South Shields to enjoy everything up for offer.
