Smoked and Uncut Festival details

2014 sees Smoked & Uncut enter its third year.  This series of single-day music festivals in the grounds of beautiful country hotels attracts music enthusiasts from far and wide.  With the 2014 openings of THE PIG-near Bath and THE PIG-on the beach, Smoked & Uncut is now bigger and better than ever.

First up in June, THE PIG, Brockenhurst will host New Forest locals – Natives. Next, at sister hotel Lime Wood, are festival-circuit legends Nizlopi. For the inaugural PIG-on the Beach festival, the headliners are soulful pop-rock fourpiece The Milk. Lastly, wrapping up the series at THE PIG-near Bath, are indie-rock collective Raglans.

The original PIG is nestled in the New Forest between Beaulieu and Brockenhurst and is the venue for the opening Smoked & Uncut.  Along with Natives, it will also play host to Piney Gir, Bird To Beast and Eliza Shaddad, among others.

Lime Wood, a mere five miles from THE PIG, Brockenhurst, hosts the second installment. The fun happens in the hotel's green and lush gardens, making this festival feel like a glorified gathering of friends, with superb music from Matthew & Me, Bird Courage and Kate Daisy Grant & Nick Pynn and more!

THE PIG-on the beach’s Smoked & Uncut will be a festival like no other. Just off Studland Bay in Dorset, with the sound of the sea from the beach below, there will be wonderful support from New Street Adventure, Bristol Afrobeat and Kit Rice, with more to be confirmed.

THE PIG-near Bath closes this year’s Smoked & Uncut with a headline performance from one of the scene’s hottest bands of the moment in Raglans. They’ve also managed to cram Sudden Death Stars, Sienna and Eyes For Gertrude into the sensational line up.

Each festival has a maximum number of only 500 tickets, making these exciting festivals small and nicely intimate. At only £25 per person and, judging by previous years, these tickets won’t be available for long…

Throughout the day there will be a number of delicious food stalls to choose from: plenty of Piggy-style plates, plus a Chase vodka summer cocktail stall. There will also be a bar for those all-important drinks on the (fingers crossed) hot summer days.
